and eliminate ground targets. A10's are Flying tanks and both are designed to be low level flying and utilize low quality airfields
A10’s are not meant for air to air combat with Russian fighters, that being said Ukraine has no aerial superiority at this point. Any unprotected gun ship would likely be shot down at this point

You'd have to be a pretty awful person to think that shelling innocent people is justified. For that matter, making the argument that the war is for the good of the people being murdered is even more despicable. No one deserves to be murdered or to have their life ruined. It's just mind boggling to even entertain the idea.

I never heard from a Russian source that it would be easy. Remember that Ukraine was bombing the Donbas for eight years prior to the invasion. So it's not easy. However, US imperial power rests on the outcome of this military conflict, hence the vast amount of support and dragging others into it she has given, all while neglecting her own problems. Billions of dollars! The USA cares about herself.

In early 2022 Ukraine had finished the preparations for an overwhelming attack on the renegade People Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk (DPR and LNR). Half of the Ukrainian army, some 120,000 men recruited and trained during the last 7 years, were stationed near the ceasefire line and ready to go. On the opposing side only some 40,000 men were under arms. They would have little chance to withstand an onslaught. Russia could not let a Ukrainian attack happen cont on Moon ofAlabama 2023--38 Feb 13.
US/nutto -UKR shelled Donetsk and Lugansk for 8 years wrecking coal mines, electrical substations, water pumping stations and residential housing killing 21,000 civilians, and ongoing now.

In reality Zelenskyy is in a quite desperate position. Zelenskyy strategy is reduced to rounding up civilians often at gunpoint and throwing them into a meat grinder. It's obvious that these hapless and desperate people can even turn their guns against Zelenskyy instead of dying for him. Anyway you can't rely on them to hold the front that is in a very precarious state almost everywhere. Everybody understands that and gives Zelenskyy promises instead of weapons. Biden hopes to encourage Ukrainians by empty promises to hold the front for a couple of months and then probably think of something (the only realistic option is to send Poland to the slaughterhouse, but Poland so far is reluctant to sacrifice itself). Unconditional surrender is the only way out for Ukraine. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself. Then Keitel signed unconditional surrender.
