My husband used to love cabbage growing up with Polish grand parents. I made something very similar before he passed 4 years ago.❤

Oh my, that looks wonderful!! I know how good the combination of potato, onion and cabbge tastes !! heavenly! I have done this with a more”laborintensive” recipe. You have given me an easy way..instead of steaming the cabbage and separating out the leaves for the cabbage layer, shredding it is genius!! I have made it with a can of corned beef, sliced, and put the slices between the layers, .it is a “cheating” shortcut when the briskets are too expensive or unavailable.. Other times, I have used bits of pork sauage or sliced keilbasa in the layers… It is november now and so cold, this is a perfect dish for a bone chilling cold evening. Thank you, Kevin.

Yet another winner, and even on those occasions when i wouldn't necessary make your featured recipe, i ALWAYS learn from your videos. About that almost-cracked-tooth - my husband actually DID crack a tooth when a small stone came out of a bag of coco nibs. I always meant to write to the company to complain, but never did. So do be careful, everyone! Quality control isn't always what we'd wish for.

Your poor husband! If I ever buy a bag of cocoa nibs (they sound wonderful) I will sort them the same way that I sort dried beans!

OMGoodness🙂 Sooooo good. Thank you. I've been trying to work more cabbage into my diet and this is a happy place way. I am working on single person meal recipes(with no leftovers) but this one is ok to have left overs. I used 1/4 head of a 2.5lb cabbage head, one smallish medium onion and 4 baby red potatoes; 3 tblsp of melted butter and the fried onions for top. I was hoping to make only 6 small servings(think custard cup) but ended up with 10. All the extra ingredients had me pull out another baking dish that made 4 servings. That's ok though because I was wanting to try it with a sprinkling of extra sharp cheddar cheese in the layers and that one came out great too. Just don't put salt in the layers and you don't really need to pour the melted butter over it(I did grease the pan with butter) but I did pour a little. In a Man's world this would probably only be 6 or even 3 servings but I'm extremely working on portion control so I can still eat everything. And don't worry, I'm not starving. I've researched meals(breakfast, lunch and dinner) that people around the world and health restraint diets and lastly what the current health industry is saying😳 I like the Asian way the best. Not the food but the way they eat. Around 5 small bowls of 5 different things. Eaten in peace with no electronic distractions. Believe you me. I'm full at the end of the meal and I don't need to eat again till the next meal. Thanks again for the recipe. I really enjoy your videos. I even had a Kevin day last month where I just watched one cooking video after another for a several hours. 🙂 You are terribly addictive.

Thank you for the video and recipes! This meal looks great!! I learned lots of new things today, especially how to use the Instant Pot to make corned beef. This will be on the menu at our home! Thank you again! Cheers! 😉💚🙏💚☘
PS: I love shredded cabbage made into a KFC copy-cat Cole slaw OR drizzled with either creamy French dressing or Thousand Island dressing (I had that with some Gimbap at a Korean food store). Very fresh and tasty!! 😊💚

I HAVE A QUESTION I WANT TO ASK YOU. YOU PUT THE SEASONING ON TOP OF THE FAT ON THE CORN BEEF AND AFTER COOKING REMOVED THE FAT. DOES THE FLAVOR OF THE SEASONING ACTUALLY GETS DOWN INTO THE MEAT. ALSO YOU SHOULD TRY MIXING THE PORK RINDS AND THE FRIED ONIONS TOGETHER AND TOP IT WITH THE MIXTURE. HOW DO YOU THINK THAT WOULD TASTE. I REALLY ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS.
