During 15 years I have taught 2 dyslectic boys to read and hand-write. I said to myself the other day:"Yes, the youngest one is saved too." (5 yrs work). I can't go on mission to Honduras and I realized that I did mission at home by my kitchen table. Maybe nobody will ever know or understand the process these boys have undergone, but to see these two read and write 3 and 4 languages wo any computer help; that is a miracle.
God knows and understands the process you and those 2 boys had to undergo. Praise God for the mission field inside our homes, your story is testimony that the mission field can be as far way as Honduras or right at our own kitchen table ane they are equally God's will and God's work!!! Amen sister
Wow you are such an inspiration. I struggled with dyslexia. I thought all my life I wasn't smart. In the last year the Lord has shown me that was a lie. I've read the entire bible. Plus many other books. Which I have never done. I'm 35 and never read an entire multiple chapter book this whole time. I see the Lord is showing me He gives wisdom and enables me to do things I never thought possible. God amazes me. I hope to be able to work with others who have struggled with this. Like you did with your boys. Every job in the kingdom is just as important as the ones who are out front. Thanks for sharing. May God continue to use and bless everything you put your hands to.

I have been a Christian for about 12 years. I go to church, I serve, I tithe, I read my Bible, and I try to seek God as much as I can everyday. But, lately my life has been such a mess. Please pray for me, I am a young adult. I live on my own. I am trying to go to college and follow what god has out on my heart but I also am stressing out about financially I need to get a second job. I had an interview today and I didn’t get the job. I just feel so overwhelmed but I know everything happens for a reason.
Perhaps God is saying to you like he did me once: Instead of a second job, look for ways to reduce your bills so you can still have time and energy for school.
HE WILL see you through, I went through the same, working two jobs and going to college at same time, living on an old lady's porch for $ 50. a month. It's hard, but HE CARES about you and will see you through.

I am having trouble in my life right now. I’m in like an in between place where I’m not going forward and I’m not going backwards. I have a burden to be married so strongly. To be a woman at home and managing the home like it says in scripture. I am a single homeschooling mom and am so tired of this place that I’m in. I have fasted , prayed , sacrificed etc etc watched even my enemies be blessed in this area and I am now going through financial struggles due to I believe the Lord telling me to leave the career I’ve been in for 12 years. (The dental field). I have cried out so much to the Lord. I know he’s working on my patience ,, I am realizing the impurities he’s skimming off of me is impatience in Him. Because He tells me to be still and know that He is God. I am not doubting him or unbelief. This is the hardest test of my life and I am really weary. I feel like I’m just holding onto his legs/feet with tears just streaming down my face telling Him I won’t let go of Him until he blesses me. Honestly I feel desperate for him to come through for me. Being totally transparent. Because at this point it’s not even about the promise of marriage he gave me ,, it’s more about Lord, I know you are true to your word and it will come to pass and I do believe this is my season of harvest. Have been waiting for a few years now. Maybe about 6 years since he gave me the first dream.
I was a single mom and I know the struggle is very real and tremendously difficult. Are there any people at you’re church that would be willing to help you out without expecting anything in return or taking advantage of your situation? Maybe someone would be willing to babysit so you have some free time for yourself for self care or relax?

My Uncle Jackie that had an accident at age 17 just died at age 80 even though he has been prayed for by many for 63yrs. It was a brain injury and he never could speak for himself. So it is up to GODs will NOT OUR WILL. And he is in Heaven as he is protected by Gods grace.

The Matthias argument doesn't fly. We don't hear of any of the 12 except Peter and John (and you could count Matthew for his Gospel account). Paul was picked for the Gentiles, not for Israel.
