What if the pandemic grows as you are there and they won’t let you come back? I personally would reschedule until things are more known and you know what you are getting yourself into. No trip is worth risking your life. Prayers for you both. 💜

I think you guys should postpone your trip to Japan😣 Every school is shut down in Japan right now and all of the fun places are closed as well. I don't think it's safe to go, the virus could spread even more from travelers that are traveling to Japan, South Korea and other places right now. Please stay safe and rethink your trip.....😓

So,as I am a university student studying in Hong Kong for a doctor's degree.I personally also need to be helping people in Hong Kong.According to my head doctor of the hospital I am working at.The coronavirus will spread more and more to South Korea and Japan.Japan though is quite a dangerous place to be travelling to currently.Though you are going in the future.I would recommend that you guys postpone your trip to Japan as for safety measures.Problems are that a lot of Japanese currently who go out are not wearing masks as they aren't that afraid.I would also recommend you guys to just keep your own hygiene as well as possible. On the aeroplane,I would recommend you as there shouldn't be that many people on the flight.I would recommend still wearing masks and sitting around 1 to 2m apart from other People. As for the amusement parks.I am not sure that they will open anytime soon.So you may expect not to be able to do too much stuff.I will also recommend dining somewhere where there is less people.Cooking in the apartment though would be my recommendation.Yry to avoid eating as much food that is cold or exposed to air for long periods of time.As the germs may stick on the food. Hope you guys can have a safe trip!

Angel and Cris- I love watching your content, I've been looking forward to your Japan trip- but I have to say it's not worth it right now. What with Corona running rampant all over the world and no cure in sight, it's just not safe to travel, what with all the airlines closing routes and who knows what we're going to have to do to deal with the epidemic- not to mention all the upcoming craziness with the Olympics still being on for this summer in Tokyo, so transportation will be a freaking nightmare there, too.
My suggestion? Japan and all the claw machines/coin pushers will still be there next year, and as much as I and the rest of your viewers would love to see you run wild winning toys/anime figures/large piles of chocolate, it's just not worth the risk right now. Give science a year to deal with the virus, and then save your money and go for longer/do more things next year, once this is all done and dealt with. It's not worth the time or trouble, and Japan will still be there next year. It's better to be safe than sorry this time, guys. Masks won't help, everything's closed, people don't want to get exposed, airlines are stopping service... it's not worth the risk to you and yours, you know?

  • @dranzer26

I know you're not worried about getting it since you're young enough to fight it well, but what if you brought it back and exposed your family to it. That is the biggest thing I'm worried about. I have three kids in school that get exposed to things all the time and we'd be fine just like getting the flu, but if my mom who is high risk got it then it could be really bad for her. Just hopefully you're thinking bigger than just your own fun you want to have over there since this is a really serious virus for anybody over 50. You could always reschedule for after a vaccine is released and things settle down.

I agree with you... One thing, being young does not necessarily give them immunity... There have been hundreds of young adults in China who have died from this... The elderly and sick are more susceptible, but that does not mean they could not get it and die from it.... I hope they would have more consideration above their own needs; to think about others, for instance, like you mentioned your mother...

Hi guys! Please be safe heading to Japan! Just a quick note on the chocolate, first try getting white chocolate chips instead of melting chips. You will find them on the baking aisle. Next make sure you use a microwave safe bowl, preferably a glass bowl, but a ceramic bowl will work as well. Next make sure you wash you strawberries, then let them dry throughly! The reason the chocolate seized up with the milk was because liquid and chocolate do not like each other! Also make sure your strawberries are at room temperature, again cold strawberries will seize the chocolate. To melt the chocolate add the chips to the bowl and microwave in 30 sec intervals, stirring in between. The chips will look like they aren’t going to melt but just make sure you keep stirring them. Dip the strawberries and my tip is use the strawberry leaves to use as a handle to dip. I hope this helps! Chocolate covered strawberries are my moms favorite and I make them all the time for her. In fact I have already made them 3 times this month for my family. Good luck! And sorry for the long comment. Ashley💕

You should use the bubble boil way. Just take a small sauce panda and add water to about hafth way. Then take a glass boil and put it over the land of water with the chocolate in the bowl. Turn it on a medium heat and keep storing the chocolate. You can add coconut oil or some butter to make the chocolate kor smooth. This way is one of the best ways to melt chocolate because its Easter on the chocolate.

If you choose that your trip is more important then that, and you get quarantined, separated, stuck there, ect. To get smooth creamy chocolate put the chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds mix it and repeat. I will melt the chocolate to where there is still some chuncks of chocolate and mix until smooth and melted. If you put chocolate in the microwave to long it will get messed up or get any liquid in it you dont have to have it fully melted you can just mix it until smooth. Chocolate does not need to be heated long because chocolate will melt in you hand/pocket so it does not have to be extremely hot.

Put some water in a pan, bring to a simmer...where the water is starting to bubble but not boiling.
Next put chocolate pieces into a bowl, which you are going to place into the pan.
The water should reach the bottom of the bowl only, ( Crystal do not let the water to into the bowl lol)
Once the chocolate has started to melt sir it until it's all melted.

I’m currently in Japan right now. If you guys are really still on planning to go, I think you should be ready about things selling out fast, and making sure you have enough stocks of everything. Even though the government’s been trying to tell people not to hoard toilet papers, and debunking the rumors, people are still hoarding them like crazy. Some stores are also running out of instant food, like instant noodles, canned food, etc. People might start hoarding feminine products, water, etc. So Crys should bring enough feminine products for herself just in case. I don’t know if you can do much, since lots of places are closing down, and all events/concerts until April have been cancelled. It’s really not recommended here to go out too much. But the important thing is to always be aware of your surroundings. Always wash your hands, don’t go into places that are crowded, and make it a habit to always watch the news! Hopefully, the situation gets better when you guys get here, so you can fully enjoy your trip.

You took your container of chocolate out of the microwave and stirred it which is exactly what you are supposed to do. When you melt any kind of chocolate (pieces of a chocolate bar, chocolate chips, chocolate wafers, etc....), you put it in for 30 seconds at a time. After the first 30 seconds, you take the bowl out of the microwave and stir the chocolate. If it is not 100% melted, you put the bowl back in the microwave for another 30 seconds and take it out/stir the chocolate again. This process gets repeated until the chocolate is melted.

You heat chocolate in micro in 20-30 second intervals so no, removing it over and over does not hurt it. You want to do it that way and you need to stir it a lot, a lot!! as it starts to melt. You shouldn't need to do more than 3 times tho...check each time and stir!! If it's melting and there is still chunks of chocolate...keep stirring! It will melt. Don't over heat it or it will solidify again and become hard and dry! You want to add milk or cream if you are heating on the stove in a double boiler. It will likely stay runny so if you want the chocolate to harden on your fruit, don't add milk.

You need to melt it in a double boiler or a candy melter appliance. Then it gets super liquidy and you can just dip them with toothpicks or a fork. You need to use more chocolate though so it'll be deep enough to submerge the berries

You should have bought white chocolate chips not candy melts. Then put them in a dry bowl and melt in 30 sec intervals in the microwave until it’s melted. You can also add a small drizzle of oil into the chocolate to make it smooth so you can dip the strawberries into it.

It annoys me a bit that you guys aren't responding to the very very valid points that people are making. Not only is it dangerous for you, but quite selfish and dangerous for others. You guys have your entire lives to go to Japan for as long as you want, you really really should just wait a few months, this is such a bad idea.

I am glad you aren't getting caught up in the overreaction to the COVID-19 outbreak. Yes, precautions should be taken, which looks like you have the right idea, but to act like you are going to die like some people are acting like its utterly ridiculous. Imagine if people reacted to the common cold or the common flu the same way.

I almost asked about a week ago if you were still going to Japan but I figured other people would ask and you'd answer eventually so I didn't ;) also it's easier to melt chocolate on the stove stir until melted once it is hot enough. The microwave always heats un even... I use to do detail chocolate candy molding . The stove will melt it faster. That's why people shouldn't heat baby bottles in the microwave. Because microwaves heat un even, and parts of the item maybe piping hot while other parts may still be cold .

If you boil some water put it into a sauce pan then put a bowl with chocolate inside on top of the pan you will get perfect melted chocolate 👌
Make sure its a big bowl (glass is best) that sits on top of sauce pan, sort of like a steamer, you dont need much boiling water in pan about a quarter full. 😘

Chocolate in the microwave is tricky as you can't tell. But u start with 20 to 30 seconds. Stir then 5 to 10 second after that but the chocolate will melt it's self after it's started . You will still see chunks but just keep stirring it WILL melt. U can even microwave it again once it starts getting thick but ONLY 5 secs at a time. Your problem is your over doing it. It has to be chunky and just stir stir stir then it will be smooth. And chunky I mean like not melted yet not seized up lol. Try my method next time please

Guys even kawaii arcade masters put up a video stating people should postpone their travel plans to japan as it’s not safe! Please think about it logically, places will be closed off for a while and you’ll be stuck there and not be able to do much which would suck. Plus it’s not worth the risk of catching it and passing it on. No one wants to see you guys get sick, you can tell with all the comments. Love you guys please stay safe.

leaving it in the microwave for longer can cause the chocolate to over heat and burn, that’s another reason for it being thick! Working with chocolate is very difficult and takes time to master!!

I just worry that u guys could be quarantined for 2 weeks before you are even allowed to step foot in Japan. You will be wanting to have fun instead of worrying about every cough or things you touch. Please reconsider for now. I heard that the Sakura season stuff possibly wont be going on because they are urging people not to have parties in the park and there is nothing to really do there until later this month when things reopen, if they even reopen soon. Yes of course the trees are still blooming, but is it really worth it to get sick just to see them. Also how crowded will the amusement parks be when they do reopen. I bet over crowded. I have even started thinking that I shouldnt go to a rock concert here in California, that I really want to go to, because of this virus and the band has recently done shows in Europe. I understand it is very hard to postpone or cancel plans, but your health is most important.

Melt the chocolate in a bowl over boiling water. Don't let the boiled water touch the bowl, wait for the chocolate to start melting and start to stir. Not to much. Once the chocolate has melted take it off the boiling water or else the chocolate will go funny. Easiest way is to get a double boiler!

Where do you expect to go while you're in Japan? If all the business and theme parks are closed, don't you think the arcades would be closed too? You may also get caught up in a quarantine situation for up to 2 weeks when you try to return to the United States. Be careful. You never know that while you are in Japan, the virus may spread here, causing America to completely close its borders to anyone trying to enter the country, until this whole thing blows over. Be safe.
