Now or Then March 1987, I was in Kindergarten back then and back then, The Price is Right was in its 15th Season on CBS Daytime, Bob Eubanks was still hosting Card Sharks on CBS and The New Newlywed Game for syndication and Elaine Joyce was the host of The All New Dating Game while Former Dating Host the late Jim Lange and Karen Thomas (formally of The Video Game) were still hosting The $1,000,000 Chance of a Lifetime and the late Bill Rafferty was still hosting Card Sharks for syndication and The NEW Blockbusters for NBC Daytime and NBC Daytime also had a handful of Game Shows during that time $ale of the Century w/the late Jim Perry & Summer Bartholomew, SCRABBLE w/Chuck Woolery, Super Password w/the late Bert Convy and Wordplay with Tom Kennedy and Pat & Vanna were still spinnin' the Wheel of Fortune on both NBC Daytime and Nighttime Syndication (which they continue to do to this day) and Alex Trebek was and still is the KING of JEOPARDY! and also, the TV Icon Dick Clark was still KING of The NEW $25,000 Pyramid on CBS Daytime & The Original $100,000 Pyramid on Syndication, Bloopers and American Bandstand and Bandstand was in its Final Season abc Saturday Mornings before makin' its jump to syndication
Memorial Day 1996. Not along after Chantel Dubay joined the show permanently and two weeks after the closing credits went to Chyron. The 1994 syndicated music package was a pretty recent addition to the show around this time. This was also right after Happy Gilmore came out and helped make Barker and the show more popular with younger folks.
They tried the chyron credits for the 7/1/1988 episode, the 16th season finale, and then went back to the regular way they did credits starting on the 17th season premiere
And also the time when the production number switched from D to K, this was #0011K. I have to wonder when they run out of production numbers that end in K, if they will switch again.
15:38 Lindel spun the wheel so hard, he went back in time!!
That was an enjoyable episode. I greatly remember some of my family members watching this episode while we were in the Poconos that year.
If anybody who won that clock table had a cat, Fluffy or Mittens would be on the table trying to chase those hands.
Kind of neat detail, this is the episode where the episode counter first "rolled over" (went from 9995D to 0011K)

T-Bone Hubbard Not only all those things happened, Bob was still dying his hair. Lol

This was also right around the time TPIR reruns began to air on GSN.
I think the real reason for chyron was that the normal crawl machine must've crapped out and so they just had to update it for the times.

Jason Nadle I think they finally caught up with modern technology when they changed to the chryon credits
Hey! What happened to part of the intro? I feel like we're missing something!
I Was 3 Days Old Back Then.
20:30😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 funniest come on down run to contestants row ever 😂😂😂😂. That’s from sitting on the couch watching the price is right every day.
One day I will go to Norway 🇳🇴. 😀👍
Let me just say that anyone who can just get one small prize correct in Bonus Game and still win has got to be pretty damn lucky, in my opinion.
HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY.

Hey do you happen to have the episode that aired on May 6th, 1996? Season 24 episode 154. My father was on and i would love to get a copy of it!
Somehow, I think that Harrison Fjord from the Little Knows Actors Showcase looks much like Phillip W. Rossi, and John Twelvolta like Roger Dobkowitz.
I want that Zoomer.😀👍
18:45 what the fuck is that thing
