That’s a cool guitar, I remember when those came about, I almost bought one. Grandfather was a pilot. The pickups are not that great though. But, you could get some cool Dimarzio pickups in colors or something.

I had an old acoustic guitar the front board looked pretty dry so I lemon oil the s*** out of it and left it sit on there all night and wiped it down the next day And was beautiful and that was the first time I did that and the only reason I did do it is I seen a guy on UA-cam and that's how he does all his he puts the lemon oil on them and let them sit all night then wipes them down the next day and I can't complain it worked out great

Guitar Max found lead on the frets of 3 guitars. Iwas an old Japanese guitar. No lead found in the paint on guitars from China, otherwise Squier and Epiphone wouldn't build guitars there.
You are spot on about Amazon guitars being the competitor for big box guitar stores. Flooding the market with cheap starter guitars ultimately just hurts the customers.
