You won't regret buying Redd. Every song has been on shuffle play in my inner ear and ever since it came out I've been waking up with a different song running through my head as tho the album has been the soundtrack for my dreams. Can't wait for the cd to arrive. I'm pretty sure I left a comment about Easy but if you when you re-watch it look for all the visual puns on common expressions scattered throughout the MV. The fist through the chest scene is the best clue about the MV concept. She looks through the hole immediately after she blasts him, meaning "I can see right through you" and/or "There's a hole where your heart should be." Along the way we also get "Do you need glasses?" because he doesn't see or appreciate who she really is, "We're headed in opposite directions" and "There's a wall between us." Wheein is doing a Sherlockian investigation into their relationship so when she looks under the table (and finds nothing) she's "looking under the surface of things." When she suddenly turns into red-hot Whee with bling and backup dancers it represents her inner self that he doesn't notice - he looks at her with a blank expression and goes back to reading the paper or looking at his phone. During that scene they're at opposite ends of a long table to symbolize the distance between them. Unlike her, he's clueless. 😏
oh man, every song on this album is well worth checking out, and she's uploaded vocal versions of all of them, as well as a performance version of "trash"... just be warned, both versions of "trash" are dangerous, but the performance version is just... whoa "butterfly", the studio version actually has ph-1 singing the first part but for this live version wheein opted to sing it all herself. that's why she uses her lower register so much in the beginning, though, to sort of emulate his voice also, if you do get into the other songs know that "ohoo" is written from the point of view of her cat (she basically wrote a love song to her cat...), which is why he's in the live performance. and "springtime" was written for the fans, calling herself 'our spring' since that's what some fans refer to her as and what one said at a fanmeet stuck with her. (akin to hwasa loving when fans call her 'our summer') and speaking of hwasa, there's no way she'll be upset at anyone showing any amount of love towards wheein; those two are inseparable. they've been calling each other 'soulmate' and 'my other half' for years now. no matter how much you show love and appreciation for wheein, it'll pale compared to the amount hwasa does. (she's said her dream is to live on a tropical beach with wheein in a house the two had built together)
actually, "easy" was her solo debut. it's just everything has been singles until now and she never promoted anything until this album (she is very much not fond of promoting on music shows, especially solo)

(originally said "eclipse was byul's debut but she considers "selfish" to be her debut, so she technically debuted on one of their 4 seasons albums)
