I loved how the game did justice to the Slytherin common room. In the books and movies, it was always described as eerie, dark, and somewhat creepy. But here, they did apply those features very so slightly. It’s mostly just elegant, mysterious, and calm.
Seeing the slytherin common room for the first time and hearing such gentle music in the background made me cry like a baby. I waited 20+ years for a game like this and I can’t describe how it feels to finally have it.
@@Jirizo1true, but this so the first time you can freely explore it all as intended. You can sorta do that in the CoS game on PC as well, but they took way too many liberties with it.
I'm a ravenclaw, but I'm jealous of slytherin's piano OST, it's so beautiful like sleeping underwater, to think about it, slytherins do sleep underwater lol

The music.. I chose Slytherin as I always have been since I was 9 (I’m 32 currently) I stood by the fire and listened to this amazing song for so long. I am over the moon 💚

it is. At least in the Marble Hallway of the Tower of DADA you can hear Chopin's Nocturne No 1 and 3 and I think some more as well, I think the Farewell Waltz(?) as well
And to think, in this submergerd Pureblood Palace, Slytherin children can easily nod to sleep in the most comfortal Silk sheets while listening to the Lake and all of it's flora and fauna in its deep sunken truth. Only Slytherins are lucky enough to live in a magnificent gilded Aquarium beneath the Castle and Black Lake.
I was so bent on going Ravenclaw but the choices I made with the hat ended up recommending me Slytherin. I am so happy I decided to become a Slytherin. This music and ambience is incredibly beautiful. I just stood there listening to the music, sometimes walking around by the windows to see the aquatic life. It's all so blissful. The music is so beautiful it makes me just want to cry.
I went with Ravenclaw in Hogwarts Legacy, and I have no regrets, however, this classy relaxing piano common room music is incredible. It is like a Hogwarts Claire de Lune lullaby or something. Incredible, every Hogwarts Legacy common room music is sooo good.
This theme is in my opinion the best out of the Common Rooms but also one of the most unexpected. You would have thought it would have been a dark and moody theme but it's the most beautiful pieces of music out of the entire game. I could listen to this all day and I've had it on loop overnight too. Stunning game stunning score. Great video.
As a Slytherclaw, this song hit me way more than Ravenclaw's Common Room. It is simultaneously posh and cozy. This is certainly the best house to sleep in, being underwater and soothingly quiet. But I do prefer the views and the brightness of Ravenclaw during the day. If I was in Slytherin I would not be found in the Common Room during the day, but rather somewhere with lots of natural light. But you best believe nighttime is Slythercentral!
I finally got the game and I'm slytherin, even tho I didn't want to be 😂 But I'm good with it now. Happy this has such beautiful music, I can just walk around and enjoy my time. Great Slytherins seem like normal students instead of rudies.
I love that they put in the character of Ominis, and as for the exact same reason you mentioned. The characters that go against the grain of the hatred and cruelty of their own families like Ominis and Poppy are what make them so great.
I LOVE Slytherin house now that I'm older. When I read in depth descriptions of other Slytherins, it made me feel that Slytherins are those that are very sentimental/emotionally affected. You can be very passionate about pure blood supremacy that it drives ur ambition (Salazar), you can be so protective of your loved ones that you can be cunning enough to find ways to protect them (Narcissa), you can be extremely goal focused that you might come off crass/rude/spiteful (Imelda) or you can be conflicted yet still have good heart even though you're quiet callous (Draco). Slytherin house to me is the beauty and tragedy that is; raw emotions 💚

Salazar Slytherin himself was genuinely evil though. Like, it's a major plot point in the Harry Potter books and even in Hogwarts Legacy. He made his Scriptorium inaccessible unless you torture someone and he created the Chamber of Secrets to house a lethal creature for the sole purpose of it purging the school of non-purebloods. Slytherin started out on bad footing. It was sketchy from its inception... and I say this as someone who always gets sorted Slytherin lol. The house has its reputation for a reason.

While I can hear the influence from "Claire de Lune" that everyone has been commenting, I think the polyrhythms and melancholic yet comforting mood set in a major scale also closely match Liszt's "Consolation No. 3 in D-flat," composed likely as a tribute to Chopin and his Nocturne Op. 27, No. 2 after he passed. In both pieces, the lovely cadenzas lend a floating, suspended feeling...as though you're gently drifting, submerged underwater and immersed in your thoughts 💙💚 elegant, in the grey area of a sombre major, wrestling with the human condition--a soundtrack worthy of Slytherins. Oh, and those trills and ornaments are totally Chopin :)

When I first entered the common room and explored and listened to the ambiance and music it really reminded me of the ambience from The Shape of Water. Probably because the common room is underwater.
I admit, the Slytherin common room wasn't as cozy or warm or inviting as the other houses, but it grew on me, especially after hearing this ambient music. Something sad and tragic about the way it sounds... All your Hogwarts Ambience videos have been inspiring me write, thank you!

I took my test on Wizarding World after it was changed from Pottermore. Growing up I always strived to be Ravenclaw because I always looked up to my brother as a Ravenclaw. But I was sorted into Slytherin on W.W and when I read the house traits and other Slytherins. It felt like it described... me. Seeing the Slytherin common room and having it's ambience EXACTLY what would make me feel at ease..... It makes me so happy and overjoyed 🥰

I played two saves all the way through as Slytherin (one of the saves is 100% with all collections and revelio pages). I started a third save file as a Ravenclaw, which is what I intended the second Slytherin save I made to be, but can't get into it because it feels wrong lmao. The Ravenclaw common room is so bright and active. It's jarring.
Might want to update the description, it still says "Ravenclaw" rather than "Slytherin" lol But seriously this has quickly become one of my favourite ambience vids, it's so calming, the piano music in particular. Best common room by far. The whole atmosphere is gothic-victorian, with stone and leather bathed in shades of green. You can tell so much love went into making this game.
