the harry potter world actually brings me so much comfort. if i could choose to make any fictional universe reality it would be harry potter. the whole vibe it has brings me so much joy. especially hogwarts, it just radiates coziness and comfort that i can't find anywhere else. needless to say, i've indulged in escaping into each movie at least ten times, not exaggerated.

i don't know if this helps, but these are the visuals: youre "standing" at one side of the room (thats your point of view) and youre looking at the desk which has a bunch of stuff strewn all over it, such as some parchment paper, a few piles of books and some scrolls. theres a quill which is magically writing on one of the papers by itself. you can see both corners of the room so the desk is a corner desk on the left side if you know what i mean. theres a group of candles in the corner on both sides. on either side of the room there are bookshelves and fairy lights hanging from the window. in the left corner there is also a lamp with a classic lampshade. the windowpanes are gothic style panes and from the window you can see the rest of hogwarts and some trees and it's gloomy and appears to be snowing. on the right side of the desk there is a wizards hat and a little owl. the lighting in the room is warm which is in nice juxtaposition with the cold and gloomy vibes outside the window. i hope this helps set the scene for you! let me know if you would like to know something else :) and again, my apologies if this does not help you. i don't have a lot of experience with blindness and the way it works.
Having this playing on my TV while I go about my business, I feel that I'm living in a parallel universe alongside a Hogwarts professor who has a (literal) ghost writer also inhabiting their space. :) I love it.

Hello, I use ambiance sound every day because I work every day. I study at home and I like when there is a fantastic type of music with a background. But sometime is just music, it depend of the need and the mood.
Hi, ADHD student here 🥲 It depends on my daily condition - sometimes the music is nice to have but I also have days where I'd prefer just the studying noises bcs the music distracts me to much. But all in all I use it A LOT! 🤭 Wouldn't it be great if youtube had a function where you could turn music on and off just like subtitles? 😆

Actually this is my absolute favorite ambience so far! I defenitely prefer hogwarts themed and I like the ambience to match the weather and daytime outside so I can pretend the tv is just another window. ( am I weird? XD) I like the (soft!) cracking of a fireplace, the scratching of a quill pen (could be a BIT louder in this one), some page turning, the suptle howling of wind and I LOVE the occasionally owl hooting in this one! :D In the summer I sometimes go for something nature themed like in the mittle of a forest with the quiet babbling of a stream, some suptle bird singing (which continually confuses my cat) and a bit leaf rustling. I´m curius for your dissertation! What´s the scientific research question you´ll going to answer?
I thought electrical devices containing semiconductors (LED Lights included) didn't function on campus because of the thaumaturgical interference field?
@alexandervonzoller-sakharo6386 Haha, good point! Luckily, these LEDs are enchanted to work even with the interference. A little workaround that was recently discovered 😅
