Magnificent, glorious! Very helpful seeing the names of surrounding peaks. My husband climbed Mera last year, and we've been to Everest base camp, but your video brings it all alive in a fresh way, absolutely spectacular, thanks!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Took me a while to figure all of them out, but the perfect weather made it a lot easier!

Beautiful! What drone do you use for these high altitude shots?

I use the DJI Air2S. It's technical specifications says it's max flight altitude it 5.000m, but I've flown close to 7.000m without any issues.

Fantastic footage, lovely views. I got a headache at high camp 5800m so i didnt make the summit attempt. Maybe next time i sleep at lower camp and just hike up to the summit and back. How long did it take you to summit?

We we're rather fast, so I wouldn't take this as a comparison. Started last at 2 am and got to the summit first by 06:30.
I would always sleep at high camp cause it makes the day a lot shorter. Try to get better acclimatized next time. Maybe an extra day at Khare with a short hike up a hill or more water, less alcohol, better sleep etc.

@adidoesultra9777 Thanks for the update, I guess it's preferable to be at high camp, you just need to be acclimatised more

@@torotaxi1 yeah, acclimatisation is key, without it the best training and preparation is useless...

I think, it's not Cho oyu. It's Gyachung Kang.

The steep and pointy one should be Kyashar 6.789m

Did you have a permit to fly or just took the drone? Nepal has complicated laws 😂

I was exempted from the need for a permission due to professional reasons/relations.
They can search your bags for drones, especially in the Khumbu Valley (due to high Heli traffic) and at the checkpoints like Khote
