You were stopped out at our Trona mines. The minerals are used for baking soda and glass. You are out by Genesis Alkali and TaTa Chemicals. I live in Green River.
Thanks again for posting these fine documentaries. I'm havin' a bier or two on November 18th in memory of Stobe, who died in an alleged accidental contact with an Amtrak Train on November 18, 2017. Stay safe and warm. Stobe would be pleased with your accomplishments. Good on ya mate.
After using many in the Marines, Army, a Squatter, Train Rider and homeless I'd say a Kelty Redwing 50 is the ideal pack, i wish it were 65 of 70 liters though. But it has nice self contained pockets so its easy to streamline without all the stuff hanging off ACU may be the perfect color for camouflage on trains
Them bananas don’t look good, you say? Boy, that’s just how I like’m. I ruther have a small spot of brown over ripe on them than an under ripen one, for sure.
Sounds like you need a back pack that you can easily fold or disassemble the hard frame, so’s you can get it in the double grained hole, safe and sound. I live in Phoenix. My van was got into 5 times, and robbed, twice while was there, then the whole darn van was stolen while I was sleeping in my bedroom inside. Found it in a tow truck impound. They had run it plum outa gas, filled it with all kinda strange clothe and stuff, and gotten into an accident’ PEOPLE STEAL! THEY’LL STEAL it even with you sleeping right there in the covey hole.
Your as close to my home as you can get by rail (90 miles) on the north or 90 miles to the south if you go through Helper UT. Do you ever listen to Merle Haggard "Ramblin Fever"?
Shoestring how did you lose your finger and mess your arm up was it a rail car I was watching your you video on the tribute to stobe last night was just curious I Love Trains to I grew up around Russell Kentucky at one time the largest railroad yard in the country my grandfather in my uncle both worked at the C&O Roundhouse Papa was sitting under a steam engine when they bombed Pearl Harbor and lost his finger to a drawbar falling on it

Riding in there must sound like someone banging on a big drum while you're inside it.
