Well This video is 3 days old which would mean it was posted on Saturday the 6th so he was in the right timeframe. Maybe he was one of the 200,000 subscribers Shoestring had and he wanted to give his last respects

He left all his stuff in his apartment, then walks out into the world, he did say he felt disoriented, takes medication, I don't know if voices led him to the lake, the whole thing seems bizarre.
