Spicy nugget noodle Personally, I wouldn’t keep a goldfish in anything less than 20 gallons and that’s only for one. Goldfish are HUGE waste producers, one of the nastiest fish you can have, and they grow to large sizes. If 2-3 goldies in a tank, then it should be well over 50 gallons with at least a filter for a 75-100 gallon to achieve high turnover in the aquarium. I like to allow at a minimum 10 gallons per goldfish. Glen Curra is right when they say goldfish can’t live in small tanks. It’s due to size and growth and then the amount of waste they produce.

Amazing work ! I would definitely try a different type of fish, goldfish get pretty big and might not last long in that tank but a little platy, guppy, or even a betta would just look stunning though.
