I love Angie and her team. Zero pressure selling, great service and amazing advice tailored to what I need. I went to buy a set of speakers that were sitting in her store for a while. After asking me questions about what I liked, gear I already had and my room, she sold me a set of speakers that were slightly less expensive and suited my taste better. She could’ve said nothing and send me home with the more expensive ones. The gentleman delivering the speakers insisted on helping with the set up until they sounded good. I have since bought a couple more pieces from that store. The whole team is fantastic.

I’ve had nothing but a fabulous relationship and experience with Angie and her crew at American Sound..from back in the day when the store was next to a Greek restaurant ..we’d grab coffees for the crew along with a bite and listen to some phenomenal music.
It’s always an education and a pleasure dealing her and her people.

I always appreciate when I hear reviewers cover Angie's rooms at shows...the knowledge, class and expertise she has is bar none. Any item i see her use that crosses my lower end price range, im gonna get like the Audio Research I/50 and the Air Tight amp

The amazing thing is she knows every component is her systems in and out. I don’t even remember what I ate yesterday morning.
Unbelievable! I cant believe people are attacking such a nice person who let us - unknown folks on UA-cam into her life and gave us information that most folks would never probably ever get by ourselves. A preamp matters a lot and i am currently struggling to find one that fits my need and budget. Wish i had personal guidance like her's by my side!
PS: Was amazed to see a Rethm Trishna with all that Avantegarde gear. Having been to Jacob's studio, all I can say is they are fab speakers.

If anyone was to write anything negative about this sweet young lady, it would be for one of two reasons.
Jealousy and or they're intimidated.

Outstanding..what a wonderful life that must be. At least when it comes to music and the opportunity to listen to such extravagant gear. I have no issues with proclaiming that the preamp is the most important piece. It is the brain of the system that dictates how everything else functions and to what degree. I guess in these terms I would consider the speakers to be the heart ❤️ Thank you for a glimpse into your home and world.

To me it makes total sense, that different people experienced different parts of their hifi-chain as to have the biggest impact. If your speakers are sub-par, you probably do not hear any difference from a better cable for example. That however does not say, that Angie is wrong. We hifi-mortals who own whole stereos cheaper that just one of her cartridges just have to believe Angie when she says, that in her unlimited hifi-class the preamp has the most impact.

My problem is that if I had $1M to spend on a audio system audio wouldn't be fun to me anymore.
There's no such thing as a passive preamp. Anything that amplifies requires power. Her passive preamp is a line stage.
