  • Here are my thoughts on the Clean X3.
With a few changes from the stock model, it has become one of my favourite bikes.
Any questions about the build or my choices, ask in the comments.

Great video! Finally someone runs a comp bike with front disc and platform pedals - that's the best combo for me too!

Interesting to see your preferences, i agree with you about front disk bakes. If i rolled down lots of rock slabs i would probably run a disk on my 26 too!
I've enjoyed watching you ride this bike and think its been some of your best riding!!

2:00 hahahaha the old 90's early 2000s hs 33 lever bolt would always work itself lose you'd tighten it 3 or 4 times a ride .
Ive been on 180mm Shimino xt cranks since 2013 for more power + slightly bigger footprint/ stance , and i'm getting some 190mm made specially at a machine shop soon aswel 😂, + to accept a 20th screw on freewheel. I'm 5ft7'' & 120lb .

It’s interesting that you’ve dented this a few times… the frames themselves are actually pretty heavy at 2.0kg so I hoped the tubes would be thicker too.

Great video, trying to figure out a new bike and it seems crewkerz is really the only choice ? I already have a light thing that dents easily and I’m over flexing BB, both hex and inpulse are noodles. Maybe its my old wheels… I just dream of tapered head sets and thru axles, that carbon fork mmMmMM. Lets have a quick vid on that handlebar watch, classic casio? I wish they just strapped to the bar gotta make a tape situation no one got asperagus wrists..

Why 165 tho? Doesn't the 175 leverage help better for a pure trials 26"?

More clearance from ground to crank and feet are more centered so the idea is better balance.

I think having the feet a little closer together will make jumping/hopping feel more natural, and pedalling techniques might be easier since my legs make a smaller circle. Clearance as well for static hooks, and overall better body position. But, you’re right, if the leverage isn’t enough then it will not work.
