i bought one and it was jamming all the time but i fixed it so i guess its a good purchase. it is pretty durable considering i smashed my fist into it and it didnt break.
I cannot find a video on YTube for changing a twin spool ribbon on a Sharp COMPET QS-2760H. I have a manual; the drawings are not good enough for me to see the metal wings the ribbon is supposed to wrap around. The ribbon spools sit at the bottom of the unit, south of the paper insert slot. Can you help? I'm so frustrated! Wanting to add up columns of figures that print on paper, rather than to snail away on a laptop screen or my phone.

I am having the same dificulty. and in my machine, it comes 0.A just in the beggining of the sheet, and i am not allowed to add or multiply more than 6 range of sums. How do i deactivate it?
There is a small slot at the back of the calculator. Cut the end of the roll straight across, no gummy stuff remaining from the new roll, and slip it in the small slot. Then, while holding it in the slot, push the paper feed button on the upper left. The paper will feed into the machine. Thread it though the clear plastic piece (remove from machine) and then slip the clear plastic piece back into place. Done.
I haven't had this unit in years, however, you can find a manual for it on the web (I did). In it, it says to replace the ink ribbon: 1) Set the power switch to OFF. 2) Remove the printer cover. (Fig. 1) 3) Hold the top of the ink roller and remove the roller by pulling it toward you and then upward. (Fig. 2) 4) Install the new ink roller in the correct position. Make sure that the roller is securely in place. (Fig. 3) 5) Put back the printer cover.
