at first i thought, brush painting? no thanks, then i snapped out of my elitist attitude and realized that you're incredibly talented and just made a model with a paint brush better than i could with an airbrush. You sir are damn good builder
Great job! Good to see brush painting on UA-cam. Hopefully it will encourage more modelers to take up the hobby by showing you don't have to buy an airbrush to get nice results.
Well that was very well done and the finished product was truly amazing. I've been building models for 40+ years and use all the equipment one can buy. Just goes to show what can be done with very basic modeling tools. Very very nice!
Great! Finally using a hand brush will result in a great finish comparable to an air brush. Just as importantly, only brush those areas seen; that’s very practical. Great job!
Wow, I thought on the thumbnail that this was airbrushed ! You have very good model building skills, and your hand-painting looks awesome ! Keep up the great work, Cheers
wow awesome job your paint skills are great better then some airbrush pp I seen I like how you kept going even when you had problems keep up the good work and keep them coming
Lovely kit, one of my favourite aircraft. Great use of the 'hairy stick'. Only crtisism is make the seat belts a little thinner and try and paint some buckles onto them. But otherwise a lovely build
Why did you left out the 37mm cannon barrel (clearly visible in the instructions), although you built the within rear cockpit part (~2:30-2:60) of the cannon? Does not make sense.
Excellent chipping and weathering. Have you tried one of the cheap Chinese knockoff airbrushes? I have one and like it/use it just as much as my Iwata Eclipse HP-CS.
I´ve just finishing my F4U 1/48 from Revell. I have a problem. After my Vallejo Air colours I´ve airbrushed a layer of gloss varnish (Vallejo), which i mixed with Vallejo Thinner. On some areas the gloss-varnish peals of like skin after a sunburn. Can anybody be so kind to tell me where is the reason for my problem?
Wow!! And it was painted with brushes!! Great job!!

Yeah........It takes a better model builder to do a build with an old wanked out brush than with an airbrush.
Captain Hecker totally agree! 👍🏼
was thinking same 💯👌👏 he did a beautiful job
@@BennyCFD Wanked is such a good word. I am 10 minutes into this and still snickering over it and how I can use it in Canadian conversation.
Not only brush painting...but brush painting with some of the rattiest brushes I've ever seen...and somehow making it all work. Amazing. 😂
Man.....! That's probably the best brush painted models I've ever seen.
Great job! Good to see brush painting on UA-cam. Hopefully it will encourage more modelers to take up the hobby by showing you don't have to buy an airbrush to get nice results.

Watching here in DETROIT my brother, Great Job 👍 👌 💪👍🙏
You know what amazed me, is that you hand painted the model and it came out perfect, as if you had either airbrushed or spray painted, great job!!!!
Vary nice work on the Ki 46. Just goes to show that old school model building never goes out of style.
That turned out amazing with you just using a brush. Nice work there. Thanks for inspiring a whole bunch of model builders who don't own air brushes.
One of the best painters
Nicely done, and with hand-painting too. I'd like to see more of hand painted models around here
Great! Finally using a hand brush will result in a great finish comparable to an air brush. Just as importantly, only brush those areas seen; that’s very practical. Great job!
Good to see someone doing the basics min model building, everyone had to start somewhere and can not afford 10 airbrushes and 100 of dollars in paint,
Just about to build a Dinah. Breathtaking job!
Great job on that build AND just using a brush... especially on those canopy frames. Very well done!
Excellent work sir!
This is an excellent model of the excellent Imperial Japanese Army aircraft. Well done.
Wow! And I didn't even see any brush strokes on it! Let's give this guy a beer! Really, it's one great piece of work. Keep it up!
Wow, I thought on the thumbnail that this was airbrushed ! You have very good model building skills, and your hand-painting looks awesome !

A beautiful model and great job on brush painting I've seen in a good while.
Thanks! Nice build!!
Lovely kit, one of my favourite aircraft. Great use of the 'hairy stick'. Only crtisism is make the seat belts a little thinner and try and paint some buckles onto them. But otherwise a lovely build
You've done a cracking job of this sir. Love the weathering on this.Subbed.
Al Wood's Modelling Mayhem thank you very much. It means a lot to me :)

...VERY NICE!!!
Neat ! I'm only just getting the time to make more videos after two years off myself . 🙂
MPM - Making Plastic Models woah! Glad you're back man! Always wondered if you were going to return.
thanks for video learning paint brush
I see that you did preshading with oil paints that’s what I did on my willys jeep but that’s my first car kit I usually do planes
Nice thing about paint brush no over spray.
Nice
very nice
Old school model building by hand painting..couldn't do it any more my ocd would kick in overtime with the brush marks lol but good job
great job - gave me optimism to brush paint and I like the chipping. is that canopy done by hand ie no masking?
Beautiful 😀
It's my world !!
Great work!!! Really impressive hand brush painting. Which colors are used on this build? Enamel or acrylic?
カッコイィ!✨
absolutely fantastic work. Did you thin the paint? or use it straight out of the pot?
Where is the upward firing gun?
Which green did you use for the plane
Why did you left out the 37mm cannon barrel (clearly visible in the instructions), although you built the within rear cockpit part (~2:30-2:60) of the cannon? Does not make sense.
Great result! What type of paint do you use?
Excellent chipping and weathering. Have you tried one of the cheap Chinese knockoff airbrushes? I have one and like it/use it just as much as my Iwata Eclipse HP-CS.

How long to complete the model
What a mess! But good job better than me in my first model keep walking jhonnie
Ok
You look like a mess
Did you thin the paint before brushing?
Why do you wipe alcohol on the model before paint application? Does it act as a primer?
michaelsscalemodels no it just cleans everything off so the paint can stick properly :)
FineKits okay, thank you
Only thing I disliked is you not taking care of the horrendous seamlines on the landing gear legs. Other vise nicely brush painted build.
Now I just realised, amatuer used airbrush, pro used brush....
Nice build. Did you use Model Master enamels or acrylics for the large areas?
The white came out nice for brush painting.
SCIGS30 I used model master acryl for the paint. The white paint actually needed a lot of coats to cover up the bottom layer. Thanks for watching :)
FineKits,
I bet the white MM acrylic took a lot. If the entire bottom was white are you able to brush it on and look ok? If so how many coats?
SCIGS30 it took me around maybe 6 or 7 coats to get it completely white but it really clogs up the panel lines.
What paint did you use?
And tanks but mostly planes
Ur like plasmo but with a paint brush
100式司令部偵察機🤟
please upload more!
nigga
You need to invest in some brushes.
Needs narration...
You should narrate your videos.
You need new brushes.
Pitiful job filming it. To many outta frame shots.
My bad I’ll try again
Nice job, horrible video.
you're just a hater
fricken' kid frick off kiddo
Great job
