A space this size $1650 is unheard of. Just a studio where I live runs about this price then an extra 175-200 for a parking stall...A STUDIO. By the time the utilities and electric comes in you're looking at at least 2200. a month.
that is in us currency if I understand correctly? Right now I'm paying $2400 for a studio apartment in los angeles. Much more expensive than my home country, food prices are outrageous too... how does steak cost over $100 when I see cows everywhere on every road trip
This is a super nice place, nice area, the price is so steep I can't imagine being able to afford it on a regular Japanese salary though. It also feels a bit disjointed and larger for me personally, though I loved the kitchen and master bedroom spaces. Wondering if this is what you are doing for work/related to what you do for work in Japan as I was living and working in Japan for about 9.5 years but just had to move back to the States for an undetermined amount of time though I hope to return to Japan in the future with a higher paying job that suits me better and trying to learn about all the options and skill up in the meantime. :) Thanks in advance if are able to get back to me about your profession or possibly any options you know of :) My previous jobs paid me from 251,000 to 380,000 a month but I'm hoping to make more like 400,000 to 450,000 so I can afford a larger apartment in a good location. Again thanks so much for any info :)
When I lived there in 1986 to 1995, none of this was affordable to Americans unless it was paid for by the company that employed them. I hate seeing these low prices because it means Japan is struggling hard and more westerners will move there and take over
I actually just filmed there! However it is a much older apartment I looked at, 50 years old. I would love to get into sales at some point, but right now just rents unfortunately.
Terrible layout, you loose half your space to the stairs and light well and so end up with one large and one unusably small room each level with useless balconies

Depending on sun and shade, I'd use the little balconies to grow herbs and vegetables.

The cost of living is adjusted to the housing market

Supply and demand
Could you do videos about the neighborhoods of Fukuoka ?
The layout seems really bad... It feels like steps take 50% of the space...
Good for old people who like climbing stairs to stay in shape.
I paid more for 1 bed in seattle. But i don't think i can live in Fukuoka then because you said it's very hot in summer.
Super cool!!
too many stairs for my liking. But good standard.
Informative video thanks.....btw im from the Seattle area too. Fox Island...tho currently living in Thailand. 👍
I would love to live in this house for the rest of my life.

Nice interior. Any rental properties on Keyaki Ave.(Kokutai 202 road?) ? Any apartments for sale? It's my fave area in Fukuoka.

@@Anchaninjapan I am sure there r apt buildings in that area that are a little less old? Thanx anyways! I miss Keyaki Dori!
Amazing.
Beautiful
In NYC it’d run you 5K+/month for that house.
Too many stairs for me, but the price is good.
great bachelor pad.

Too much space taken by the stairs
