Very close to where I’m living. Imajuku does lack some convenience as there’s not a lot of stores and such close by but they recently opened a very affordable gym close to the station which should be within walking distance of that unit.
I lived in a similar apartment in Kyoto but it didn’t have the top room with ladder. It was pretty comfortable and economical. I loved it. Would definitely live in one of these again.
Thank you for showing us those nice and affordable apartments. I'm thinking about doing some volunteering in Japan, and Fukuoka is my point of interest because rent there is cheaper than other places.
Every time I go to Japan I bring loads of those hot spring bath powders back. I just wish I could get all the parts for one of those wet rooms, too. There's nothing like having access to a tub that deep.
If you’re not Japanese goodluck actually GETTING any apartment let alone for 25000¥ a month, and you would need to pay a security deposit 1-3 times the monthly rent and you’d need to pay a “gifting” fee which you don’t get back which is also 1-3 times the monthly fee
great video 👍 wow 😳 yes for 255 I would like to rent that out 😊 I am looking to move to Japan in the near future and need prices on apartments like this 😅 Happy New Year 🎊🎉
but then you earn 100k+ in ny and sf, while you will be earning 20-30k a year in fukuoka, you trade buying power for affordable housing, you can't have it both ways
Wow, looks just like my former hamster hut, LeoPalace in J-land when I was an AET/ALT in Kyushu. I had bruises all over the place hitting something when I was living in a 220 sqft apartment. Never again.
I would rent that place just for the tub. With the low cost of rent, everything else I'd need could easily be purchased new like a fridge and washer. Nothing smells better than clothes dried outside.

I would take that unit in a heartbeat for that price
This!
there’s a reason why it’s so cheap, i’ll leave u to figure it out

This is a great place to live for a single person. Very cute. Just needs a fridge.
Tv mounted to the wall, couch that flips out to a bed…I can definitely see the vision

Would be my top choice of major Japanese cities in which to live. I prefer it over the big three.

wow that is nice. I like all the windows with sunlight. Especially in the loft area. Shame we cant get things like this in America.

Imajuku has a real nice sunset during the summer, also Hanabi in summer right by the beach!
Anthony, love all your videos. So informative. Great to see what's available out there.
I'm obsessed. I'd have to expand the kitchen with a table or something and a fridge but I'd live here in a heart beat.
Im not a huge fan of that balcony(I prefer more open balconies) but everything else looks great! I can 100% see myself living there.
Those stairs are a death trap.
They're meant to be used more like a ladder than stairs
So far I think this is the best flat posted on this channel.
Those stairs are scary looking.
Amazing❤
Do places like these (with no key money / deposit arrangements) have a minimum lease term?
Has to be some kind of catch here
I would love to live in that apartment for THAT PRICE. A place that size in America (NY or San Fran) would cost quadruple the amount
It would cost 6-7 times that amount. And it would be a room.in a house or apt with shared bath.
Maybe in the late 80's!
A place that size costs >4x the price in the Portland burbs, let alone SF/NYC

That looks huge compared to some I’ve seen on UA-cam
Where I live this would be at least 800$/month. And I live in a small "city" in northern Europe.
Beautiful ocean view and tsunami threat
This is in Fukuoka, which means it’s on the west coast. Tsunamis in Japan happen on the east coast, on the Pacific Ocean side.
cute place!

Hell yeah! I'd love living there
How much would the total monthly utilities be for a unit like this?
if moving to Japan, how do one get ahold of the places you show
I love that scholar’s window.
You could do some nice sea fishing there if you weren't into surfing.
and have a feel of tsunami ,i see this as a win
Hi, may I know how or where did you rent such units from? Ive stayed in kumamoto and kitakyushu a month and they cost like over $1000 per month.
Looked at a very similar unit once in Kasuga and the floor was so thin it literally sagged when I walked across it.
something about this screams Dongo Daikasoku
4 x 10 meters?
Love watching from Nigeria 🇳🇬
Japan has so many relatively fit senior citizens. The Ramen diet must be legit.
So cute!! I want!!!
This appartment is as big as my Studio in SF mine cost almost 4k per month.
I would definitely live there. Clean cheap private close to the sea. Yes please
It's surprising to me that bathrooms are often off the genkan like this. Why would such a private space be connected to a conceptually "public" area?
I love Ramon noodle apartment s they are just set up to be for one or two people at most..
So what happens when a earthquake happens and a Tsunami rolls through..
wait.. did I get it right? only 255$ a month?! In Poland you may find hard getting a room for that price jezz...
this is more than what you get for 10x the price in california
255$ no foreigners allowed.
That's the problem!!!

Is that particular beach suitable for swimming/snorkeling?!
If the answer is yes, then this is too good to be true!
He said that the waters may be a bit rough for swimming
Can’t imagine what you can have for $500 😢
That would be $1,700 in my area .
this is NOT cheap
are you a real estate agent in fukuoka? because I'm looking for one
If you are looking to rent please send me an email!

US$250 per mth rental?
Not gonnalike, 255 for that? Being Japan, I'll take it!
I'm more bothered by the baths being wide 😭😭
Fantasy. No way this house is so cheap.
Why would anyone pay $255 on an apartment just to store their surfing equipment ????
You’re all good until an earthquake happens
I wish America would start copying the way Japan does apartments SO desperately. It just WORKS better. No wonder why ours are so expensive.
It's so clean. But I think these prices would attract the type of people who won't the respect property. Yet they need housing too I guess.
Not "respecting" the property is a cultural issue. A society that values profit over legacy will have neither in the end.
In a small town in Germany you pay $650 for an apartment like this
@ I earn 1500 euros in dollars 1570
@ For my apartment I pay €750 with electricity that's €820
in my city something like this would probably be less than 100 dollars, but, well, we don't even have places this small here
If they funnel in m1grants to your country, the rent will go up. Be careful
"Loftsco" lol.
U.S.A. won't give us that. lol
I would love to live in that apartment . It have everything i would need for living as introvert like me.
