Kinda disingenuous to include the emissions of burned gas to total greenhouse emissions from this project. Natural gas is mostly plug and play with other fossil fuels, so if this gas is being used instead of coal or oil, it is net positive.
This is also an export facility so I don’t see how this “locks us into dependency”…

Louisiana needs jobs, badly, ranked almost dead last in the country. Don’t let smug New Yorkers change your minds, get that money boys.

Louisiana has already been sold down the river by corrupt corporations and corrupt politicians. They also fly the Confederate flag instead of the American flag. Fk 'em.

    Maybe we shouldn’t
Have bombed the Russian pipeline to Germany.
That was the single largest environmental incident in world history.
Why isn’t now this covering that?

You’re so totally right we should all have no jobs, hope that China sends us batteries for everything but we really won’t need them because we will starve to death since we have no jobs.

It's just crazy that politicians would still consider to allow this project

According to my understanding, if this is worse than Willow project. Then, this would be a final nail. Yes, the jobs are great if the money and benefits are great. However, if we experience summers like 2023 frequently in the future because of this factor. Then, it’s not worth the future devastation.

Given how we are on the verge of multiple eco-system collapse, that shouldn't be very long. We'll all be dead.

lol as if this country wouldn’t turn apocalyptic without Fossil fuels. 250+ million Americans would be dead in 30 days without fossil fuels. 1% may survive year 1, that 1% will be the rich Elites, the select few in government. & a few hundred Statesmen
