Elected officials don’t listen unless you pay them tons
Kinda disingenuous to include the emissions of burned gas to total greenhouse emissions from this project. Natural gas is mostly plug and play with other fossil fuels, so if this gas is being used instead of coal or oil, it is net positive.
This is also an export facility so I don’t see how this “locks us into dependency”…
This cannot be allowed to happen!
Louisiana needs jobs, badly, ranked almost dead last in the country. Don’t let smug New Yorkers change your minds, get that money boys.

According to my understanding, if this is worse than Willow project. Then, this would be a final nail. Yes, the jobs are great if the money and benefits are great. However, if we experience summers like 2023 frequently in the future because of this factor. Then, it’s not worth the future devastation.
