I’ll definitely check this out. Just came off the river 2 hours ago and was so disappointed in my new Loop Dry Fly reel that was meant to “suited” to euro nymphing and the line got caught between the body of the reel and the spool whilst the trout was on…..NOT happy, it will be returned to the shop ,Not fit for purpose, REFUND , new Orvis reel.
Thanks for the video! I really wish that Orvis had thought about the tolerances of their reels sooner! I have a year old Hydros reel and I’m always having to fit my line/leader back into place. SO annoying…
You don’t even have the line running through the correct slot in the reel to the guide. Can’t trust this review at all for someone who doesn’t know how to use a reel. Anyways, good filming camera man. Let me know if you need an employee that knows how to show new products correctly.
