Dan, I've tried to reach you by email... If you get this, please send me an email. I have your club ready. And the ebike golf bag carriers are now available on www.divnickgolf.com/ebikes. Come check them out.
Yes, our carrier will not only fit on the Lectrics, they sent us a bike for testing, and our adapter rack mount will fit their racks perfectly. I played a full round of golf on the XP...worked great. You can see a picture of the one we tested on www.DivnickGolf.com/ebikes. We are getting very close to being ready for production...will be updating the pictures and a video in the next couple of weeks. Please come to the website and then send an email and I will add you to the notify list.
@@kourt2469 I am working on wording strategy for that very thing. The best option will be to got there WITH your ebike so they can see it, ride it, and experience it. Second choice is to be prepared to show them the video on this page and on www.divnickgolf.com/ebikes. You will also want to review the "golf course" responses on divnickgolf.com/ebikes/single-rider.html. If you can hold off a little bit, I will finish editing the recommended wording which will be "assumptive" in nature...so that the course managers know this is a moving train and they will want to get on board! Send me an email to sales@divnick.com to let me know to send you the wording as soon as it is ready...hopefully before the end of this week.
Love the concept. I have a E 20" folder fat tire too and would like to modify it to caddy my clubs. To my mind it would make more sense to design a rack holder for the clubs only and drop the bag from the equation. Years ago I had a "Sunday" club carrier which consisted of a plastic tube design to which the clubs snapped into parallel clips. You carried them much like you would a briefcase. A light back rack with clips seems practical to me, golf bags themselves tend to be cumbersome beasts at best. Love to hear from you.
Allan, I've seen those quiver-type club carriers. I think they are great for walking...not as sure that they would work better than the bag on the bike. Most of the people who have seen me riding the prototype bike think the bag-kick-stand is the coolest part. It is so fast and easy. There have been some peddle bikes designed for golf courses to rent that require the golfers to move all their clubs and other items to a built-in carrier on the peddle bikes. That hassle was one of the main reasons the concept failed. The other was that most golfers can't peddle a fat-tired bike up and down hills at a golf course...even on paved paths. I think my design solves that issue because you can strap your own bag on the kick-stand-bag-carrier. And the motor peddle assist makes it a fun ride no matter how soft the grass or how steep the hills.
@@stevedivnick can you send a pic of what the stand actually looks like? I could use a really light carry bag with the stand and that makes sense to me. I would like to see stand bag carrier that can be removed quite easily as I use my bike to ride trails and roads recreationally.
@@odaat1985 I'm sorry for the long delay. I've been working prototype bag carriers...still haven't settled on a final design. Please send an email to sales@divnick.com and I will send you an update and keep you posted.
Liked the full treatment of topic and refinements of other designs on display at your webpage. My previous google results for golfbike were very limited and highlighted the version with vertical rear mount that looked like a mobile chimney sweep. A very large hurdle, especially if one is to ride to and from course is weight, regardless of epower. Bike weight of around 60 pounds might be a nonstarter, especially when having to add weight of golf bag and clubs. It would be nice if carbon fiber components (or technologically advanced, graphene ??) were dropping to competitive prices, because a bike in 30-40 lb range would be so much more attractive, but to paraphrase someone's quote of Keith Bontrager, "you can have affordable, light, strong, pick any two". Maybe at some stage beyond the early adopters you will have a lightweight option for just a little bit more.
Thanks for the thoughtful input. Lighter is always the goal of things like this...but as you said, the cost goes up as the weight goes down. We'll see what happens with demand.
I don’t think that will work on my full suspension ebike. The only option (I believe) for a rear rack for my type of bike would be a rack attached to the seat post only, which can only handle around 25lbs.
Do you have a rack on the back of your bike? If so, I think it would work. I am assuming there wouldn't be much travel in the suspension on the golf course since you won't be riding it like yu do on rough trails. If the rack is attached to the rear suspension frame arms, the bag of clubs wouldn't move much either. Send me a picture of your bike and I can be more accurate in my information. sales@divnick.com
Yes, that can be offered. There is an implied waiver of liability on all courses....the golfer is responsible for themselves. But that doesn't hold up if someone gets injured and they believe the course was negligent in providing a save environment. So liability waivers can become pretty complex...and that would scare both the course and the golfer!
Ordered!!! Looking forward to this! Cheers!
Nice Steve. That looks like a fun way to get around the course.

Really good alternative. If courses are indeed loosing revenue, I don't know why they wouldn't be open to it. How about signing a waiver of liability?
