    my two main problem with range is the recovery animations, it makes moves like flame control completely useless because even if the attack hits, your still in recovery while your opponent moves free leaving you wide open. My favorite change you stated was the flame lightining change. Being able to cancel the move opens up so many combo options and makes you so much safer if the attack whiffs. I had no idea Rinne-Swap didn't counter sharingan, that is insane.

      Right. Landing attacks shouldn’t put you minus against an enemies but regular fighting game mechanics are out the window with range types.

    Gedo problem is the insane debuffs it gives the user I understand taking ur jutsu for sum time but ALL of ur health for a one shot is crazy

      And sharingan the window it’s active like 2 seconds so it’s a reaction jutsu, and longer cooldown to a cool 18-22 secs. And obo remove some of its buffs completely and 18 sec cooldown

      @@BreezyDylannah, the obo shuriken needs a nerf imo. Restraining, sealing ninjutsu, breaking armor and removing barriers is too much. Something has to go from the shuriken.

    1) Heal types mains scrugglin out here. We got the same amount of masters and we got absolutely asspounded in nerfs this season. It was deserved, for sure, us healers were too comfortable, but still. We're both in the mud, but you guys are face down. We gotta unite, not divide. We got nothing to lose but our chains.
    2) Yeah, I think these are all fair buffs. There were a few that I thought were straight busted, like adding full invincibility to Icicle Swallow, but then I remembered that you guys got Kamui and that's literally it. Have at it. I like a lot of the changes. Adds more utility to the moves, especially in neutral. That's really where range types struggle the most. There's really no good engagement option. You guys got the most damage with the right combos, but you have so little options for those combos. All your jutsu are so slow, require a fair amount of set up and don't provide enough benefit for going with something else, and I'd guess that 72% of them don't even have super armor.
    Giving super armor to the regular chidori is such an easy fix. I've literally lost a clash with an attack type using claws because of their insanely high attacking priority.

      i dont understand how people can act like healers are down bad.
      you are the 1 class that is absolutely necessary to have. you have no competition. there is 1 healer class.
      ranged types are out dmgd by both attack and defense types. we offer nothing. there is no reason to have a ranged type on your team.

      @pitsbible2852 I was being facetious with my "We're both in the mud" part of my comment. It was mostly about heal and range only having 8 mentors, plus the huge nerf to the class this season, which I don't even dislike. It promoted build diversity in my opinion, plus it makes it harder for heal types to consistently slip away and heal all the damage you did, even tho I'm a heal main. The biggest problem is that both attack and defense have gotten some pretty major leaps in ability the last couple seasons and heal has stayed stagnant. Not getting worse, but not better either. Range is the only one that's suffered the most, since most of the buffs have been mild at best, and you've gotten some pretty unnecessary nerfs as well.

      beancheesedip oh I see. Ranged is just a shit useless class that when I see people saying they relate I assume they're trying to say that their class is bad too.
      But I see what you're saying yea the devil do shit all over heal types too. I really like playing healer but it has almost no build diversity. The least of any class. Super stale. I'm with you on that.
      For years if you aren't running heal tag and cellular extraction you're literally throwing. Crazy.

    As for Inferno Style: Flame Lightning, I'd like there to be an option to press the input again to manually activate the 2nd stage (The 360 flame-skewering) at any time before it automatically activates after 3 seconds. Also maybe it could use a radius increase and repel all attacks. All this is because I wanted to use IS:FL as an Almighty Push for Ranged (where I can jump into a crowd and hit all that are near me or as an anti-crowd get-off-me tool) but I can't because it's so finicky. So being able to consistently utilize the 2nd stage of the jutsu makes it more of a versatile jutsu and "skillshot" rather than a gamble. You can either use it for the pull-into-skewer on a single target (and nearby targets as a bonus) or prioritize the 2nd stage and using it like A.P.
    P.S: My A.P.-substitute for Ranged is Inferno Style: Flame Control

    My personal thing is that I think certain substitutions should be class-specific the same way certain ninja tools are. One that comes to mind is Time-Space hop. Since it's primarily for invincibility and ninjutsu cool down, it makes sense to be for classes like Range and Healer but there's no reason why a defense type should be running around with it considering the difference in health
    I think small changes like that would also help Range mains thrive more

    Most of the range weapons need better projectile tracking. Also an increase to their attack speed and hitbox range.
    Majority of the range fire jutsu need to inflict flame status. Water dragon needs several buffs to pick it over majestic. Like better tracking, damage and the ability to deal with shields, susanoo armor, or super armor.
    The chidori style dashes need adjusting so they actually hit the targets they fly 1 inch away from.
    There's plenty more.

      The Isshiki jutsu absorbs all range atks, and Minato's bubble turns them all off lmao.

    Thousand Needles should empty out the substitution stock completely or lock it for a good chunk of time.
    Second activation on the Snakes where you swipe the snakes in a 180 to get people off of you (super armor in this state).
    Overall better tracking.
    Increase the speed of Detonating Birds, Scarlet Claw (or leave it alone and do what the video said) and Summoning Blade dance.

    I like a lot of these buffs and it would make ranged much more fun and fair to play as. I’m a little iffy on fireball breaking guard, but i think it could use a priority buff, breaking water pillar/sand shield. Also Twin Shadow Snakes should heal the same way demon Hunter does based on damage dealt, given that Orochimaru is known for his absurd durability and recovery. Although in trade off for that I wouldn’t mind the recovery animation staying the same. I love the idea of ranged Chidori stunning and being a combo starter. Would definitely allow for some amazing combos. And don’t say this is nonsense for ranged to have close ranged potential. Just look at attack and their multiple ranged options.
    Though my favorite change you’ve suggested is being able to cancel Flame Lightning. It’s criminal that we are sitting ducks if that move misses or the opponent gets knocked out of the pull.

      I figured most people dodged fireball any way so it guard breaking wouldn't be too bad. Regardless, I just wanted to go all out on some of these suggestions.

    most of ur suggestions i agree with and they would be amazing changes to the ninjustsu listed. as for my own suggestions im not entirely sure like besides decrease some justsu cooldowns , dmg up some and making some break super armor or making guard break. As for the top justsu like Obo i would make it ninjutsu so can be abosorbed or countered by others cause the main thing that annoys me is its taijustsu so i cant absorb it with karma or use super armor to pierce it. The main problem is its too good at doing everything , sorta like how old tail bullet from Baron naruto used to be so they nerfed it but its still decent even now . Theres a lot of things they need to fix and range just needs to be fixed because if not attacks & defs will rule while range will continue to be their punching bag.     personslly id make hhp buff the user in some way after use, like how is kamui gonna buff your dmg and cds while making you untouchable but the swapping jutsu that besides that does nothing and has a longer cd ok?
    also if they fixed it to always land like it used to instead of missing when youre in theair 80% of the time that would be nice

    What yall dont get is that range is weak is cause there combat is buggy.
    There only good combo type weapon is sasuke sword.
    Issue stim from heavy attacks not tracking and throwing kunai in a straight line for 0 reason.
    Regular charge attacks doing trash tracking. For example if i use sasuke sword i get a stronge lunge animation with a good hitbox. Any kunai fighting style like shisui just have bad tracking and hitbox on light attack and majority of then drop combos way to fast or cant be stringed into heavy combos.
    Btw range power compared to other classes is weak the issue is that attack and defense needs hard nerfed so the meta kids are abusing have a weakness.
    Like for example ramge arent allowed diversity cause certain builds are oppressive. For example infinite sub builds. Oboro with imperial wrath and very abuseable skills like dynamic entry or leaf rising that cant be evaded in close proximity.
    Defense abusing hyper armor like hazan strike with master medicine or purple lightbing. ABusing ishiki eye jutsu.
    Ultimates being also to broken to dodge even if you evade them. Lets be honest secret techbiques shouldnt be guranteed. I dont know what caused things at the begginning to being able to sub out secret techniques to being overwhelming 1 shots that cant be evaded without jutsi abilitys like minatos flash dance
    Range at times and i am a range main and co sidering how broken these subs are they deserve nerfing.
    Dimension hop and itachi explosive sub and narutos baryon sub that for no reason cant be evaded.
    Ninja tools on range classes that need to be nerfed. Keep in mind unless these get nerfed trash players will cling on these skills and wont get good to try other skills.
    All of temaris abilitys like blade dance cant be evaded and the tornado aoe that has way to many tornados in the way and lasts way to long.
    Majestic destroyer flame 1 shot builds and splash every where even when your not near it.
    Ss tools that are carrying trash range types and are basicly way to overwhelming to evad3 when chasing down a range class.
    Thunder needle scientific and scientific demon wind shuriken. Neither of these ss tools can be evaded at close range and ends in you being knocked into the stunlock and getting insta killed.
    Healers just need chakra scalpel and airpalm spam nerfed so cooldowns exist and reducing the duration of debuff timer.
    Most issues with low cooldowns stim for alot of op jutsu like sharingan never being a over 20 second cooldown and usualy at the 10 and over and with cloth8ng can just reduce this same for ss ninjatools like the mirrot which has a 10 sec cd
    Unless atk getd a massive nerf and defense get hit as well. Range will continue to be neglected unless they actuall fix the main problems with that class.
    Im not gonna lie buffing annoying skulls like deidra abilitys which are already good. We dont need to amplify toxicity of abilitys.
    Deidera abilitys are really good i can agree with deidra special taking way to long to explode though.
    Whats also a issue is the fact range has no abilitys that seal like majority of classes and onxy chidori was the only w sense it resets stock.
    Dont get me started on flame lightning range spammers its so unreactable your being caught majority of the time.
    All thr devs need to do is stop bandwagoning those 2 classes nerf the shi out them both like removing atks ability to seal subs was the dumbest crap ever

      I did mention that the issue was deeper than the jutsu at the start of the video, but I didn’t have time to get into the inferior animations and stats that the range type has and kept is simple with the ninjutsu

    What needs to be changed in being able to be knocked out of your Ult. It’s so annoying building up your Ult all match, but when you go to use it someone hits you while you activate it causing the entire ult to go away

      comeback mechanic gone. whats crazy is there are some secret techniques that don't go away, even when cancelled. im sure you can guess which type has them... (kurama link, night guy, etc)

    Well for one thing the C2 Dragon it is possible to place it while in the air but its rather hard to do and it does not work every time, when it does not work it just empty out the Jutsu space and have to wait for it to come back. That can happen if you try and place it in the air.
    (I'm A Def main but Range and Healer are both My secondry role)
    And about Orochimaru's Wind style jutsu it can break a gaurd but that depends on what role type the enemy is using and if they have the very Gaurd boost on their bottom outfit. It does not break a Def type gaurd, break Atk type but it can also be blocked by Atk without the gaurd being broken, (Depending on what Range it is used from)
    Started playing as a Healer main.
    I was a Range main for a little over a year samt two months.
    But yes Range and Defense not 100% sure about Heal but they could use some Jutsu looking into just like they did with all of Choji's Jutsu,

    I agree on the fireball ultimate, you shouldnt be able to sub out of it. But at the same time most situations its not that big of a deal bc to land it most likely you are gonna land a charge atl hitstun before to ensure it hits, so ur gonna get the sub first anyways 90% of time, but yh it kinda sucks when you hit that charge atk and then the opponent is already close to getting the sub back, then it's frustrating for no reason. Lightning net is good, but I domt think that change would hurt as long as its like it is for octohug for example. Susanno flame control?... idk man its great for objectives and also has some good kill potential, maybe make it charge a LITTLE bit faster, but ppl being able to go inside and you cant break it?👀.... idk man

    They should make it to where you can't just sidestep heavenly hand power and flame lightning. They should do the same with universal pull. I heavily disagree with making the tracking on Sai's ult stage 3 lvl. The fastest charging ult in the game doesn't have that level of tracking at all. Why should this ult have that? Now its unfair because Sai's ult also covers your screen with ink for a really long time combine that with unfair tracking and the move is unstoppable. If ur cool with flame lightning countering sharingan r u cool with universal pull doing the same? Kirin hitting players in subterranean voyage and hiding in ash makes no sense because your underground.

      Sai's secret technique is an ult that gets countered by simply having emergency exit to remove all the debuffs and the damage isn't crazy. Yes, all rinnegan moves that remove time space and kamui buffs should remove sharigan as well, including universal pull. how does base sharingan beat rinnegan moves that beat mangekyo sharingan moves? Also for kirin, its a giant lightning strike to the earth, a much more powerful attack than crimson drizzle, a move that hits enemies underground.

    I do share similar opinions on most of the jutsus. Especially the sasuke jutsus. But i would nerf the ranged types movement speed cause they are suppose to be backline shinobi, most ranges have a playstyle of spamming majestic or ranged jutsu and running away and using kamui climax / angelic. I think they should either nerf the movement speed to make it easier to stop runners that play range. Or nerf kamui bond to a shorter invicibility time. The angelic advent nerf was perfect

      @@UFunnyLowe you are absolutely right too but healers dont have moves like kamui bond or angelic to help them run away even longer on-top of time space hop. I just find kamui bond highly annoying combined with time-space it helps them run so much more than healers

    I completely disagree on the clay birds, they dont need to be faster. It's actually really useful to have them hit a bit delayed. You can use it differently than other similar moves bc of that. It really helps to get charge atks in, its actually also very useful to have 2 similar range moves travel at a different speed, so you can 1 activate first and the other after. Also sai ultimate is good, BC of its chrge rate and how quick it comes out. Easily gonna take that over stuff like kirin or kamui shuriken every day, since 1 quick kill a the start of the fight does basically the same thing than a teamwipe ult, ur in a 3v4 now have manadvantage and can just snowball the fight from there. So most of the time if used rihht i get the same value out of sai ult than from some teamwipe ultimate, but I have it way more often. Dance shield is nice. Also dont think that fireball is a bad Jutsu, there are situations where i would prefer it over MDF for example. For example if I have amaterasu on and its not like an objective based game mode i'd rather take the fireball 8/10 bc of the lower cooldown, it doesnt have as long as a windup so i dont get countered by tsukuyomi, amaterasu, silent strangle etc mid animation, it doesnt overwrite my amaterasu burn with some majestic burn effect... it's like hmm... not quite my list, i get your point with some of these, but I personally have a different oppinion on some of these takes

      @@qualiswilliams7403 making them faatwr would nerf them bc then they are just a weaker version of something like the sai lions... them being slow and therefore having a different speed than most other projevtiles you have allows you to combine projectiles of different speeds qnd use then for various tasks, like prepare a charge atk to then lead into a combo or to draw attention longer since them bwing slower also means you get chased lonher so they actually pair better with some stuff to apply more pressure at that speed. Buffin their speed would also ruin the combo with the ink bird for example

      Even in your comment you'd prefer things to stay broken because you've learned to work around it but that's not good enough...range is sorely lacking and we're honestly tired of having to be overly crafty to keep up with classes that take no skills...they can basically just spam triangle basically until you're defeated and we have waaaaaay to many hand sign jutsu to not have super armor or quicker jutsu activation...the range characters it's built off are all above avg speed so why is range second to attack ....you're telling me kakashi is faster than Itachi 🧐

      They aren’t kunai but a unique ninja tool. Cast characters heavy attack are whatever is equipped in their ninja tool slot. So sometimes you will see modders throw paper bomb kunai with their heavy attack because the modder put paper bomb kunai in the ninja tool slot.
      For cac, we can put any ninja tool in the slot but it doesn’t effect our heavy attack because it’s a weaker variation of kunai.

      @@longshot524 it goes hand in hand with being the worst class in this case. Def is still competing with attack as the strongest class in the game, although that might change with the obito dlc.
      Range has been dead since the nagato dlc, temari was ok at best and it’s been drier than the Sahara desert.
      Heal types have been able to eat a fair bit but are still falling behind def and attack, since their basic attack combos are mediocre and jutsu do ok damage without being strung together.
      Just saying, it really doesn’t sound like you have a lot of experience while saying def would be the weakest.
      Of course I’d like to hear your points as to why it would be, to try and see where you’re coming from.

      @@Crimson7390 ok I see where your getting at so let explain a bit 1 I’m a prestige 18 n a def main 2 keep the buffs rose said into a scrim setting no real healer is going to start throw basic combos instead of doing what the do best with is healing atk does atk thing that we all know they do defense on combat and healer hav been running the same build with the expectation of ults for a really long time, base and flag are different for defense cuz that’s their job to defend but in a combat setting against a team who scrim with run flame and strike but that’s how I see it just my opinion

      Heal types ko ranges over time by hit and heal tactics or just play for their secret technique, which charges faster in most scenarios. It’s not fun out here for us😭lol

    I feel like 90% of my problems would be fixed if attack type lost their sub lock on heavies, remove the claws, instead give them nunchucks that are really fast and can loop easier but so far less damage, give defense type hand to hand fighting or give them the kabutowari, give cacs a durag like ebisu or the dude from the chunin exams, give range a transformation thatd boost speed ninjutsu cooldown and power, and give supports either frog sage mode or hashirama’s sage mode as a transformation. All the classes need brand new weapons that aren’t scientific ninja tools, also Naruto’s truthseeker escrimas would be tuff but truthseeker orbs should be a weapon

      tbh, sublock not bad on most attack weapons. its just the one's with the op hit stun and loops that give us fits. The attack type's base stats are also over the top.

      ​​@@hiddenroseyh its just the hitstuns, u have the loops with any of the atk weapons besides like violet soul, so stuff that shoots the enemy far away after the heavy. You can easily do the same sublock infinite shit with hand to hand or shooting star, people only complain about claws and knuckles when it vomes to sublock, bc of as you said the insane starters these weapons have. But at the same time if you know that you dont trade into them you are fine. Ppl assume they can play against every wrapon the same and be fine , thats their problem. The crimson spear heavy puts people in kind of a similar situation, where you cant trade into it with most weapons, nobody complaining about THAT or about the sublock on hand to hand. Its the starter paired with the smaller window that you have to react to it qith a block, dodge kunai or other move if they have a tracking buff. But even then, you can do the same things to them that you can on other people without that stuff, the timing and reacrion time is just a bit tighter here and the sublock infinites only mean you get punished harder for mistakes. Honestly if an enemy atk type is able to pull a full on sublock infinite on somwbody from full to 0 without getting interrupted by a teammate, then its just bad teamplay or they just cant help you, bc ur losing the team fight around you as a whole anyways rn. The problem is just it FEELS very frustrating to people, it just doesnt feel like a fun and interactive experience, but realistically mechanically speaking its not that big of a deal

      If attackers can't sub lock when strong attacking, Take away Defense's Hyper Armour when Strong Attacking, Take away Healers ability to guard break while strong attacking, take away range types ability to throw projectiles when strong attacking. But see yall don't want that.

    YEAH we honestly need to nerf alot of stuff. Playing is pretty miserable right now. There's so many things that hit insanely hard on Attack, Defense, healer that you basically get vaporized by passing projectiles even if you're subbing and blocking/parrying everything you possibly can.
    Context: I decided to pick the game up again and honestly the kill times on every type + the stun frame bs that goes on is on every class but range type. For the most part I could basically completely ignore range types unless they were using inferno grope style. Also, some science ninja tools really need to be chilled out on damage for their hit consistency.

    We range mains are struggling out here. Some of Justus’s given to other classes should be for range such as yasaka beads and wood dragon. Why give raved attacks to classes who don’t main range attacks. Makes no sense.

      it's been nerfed enough tbh. it used to be an unblockable and break super armor, with no way to sub. all of that is gone now, while still leaving the long recovery on whiff that will happen frequently due to latency and connection issue. the enemy player doesn't even have to dodge it properly.

      HiDDEN ROSE ranged has an identity problem. It lacks one.
      What does it mean to be ranged? What does it bring thar other types don't?
      Nothing. Attack types ranged jutsus are better than ours.
      Compare wood dragon to water dragon. Wood is faster, tracks better, and gives strong effects. Water dragon does nothing.
      Why have a ranged with water dragon and chidori when I could have an atk with wood dragon and dynamic entry?
      Ranged brings 0 unique traits to a match. No identity
