- These days, our phones are basically part of us. Almost like your lift pinky. While they are magical devices that can do pretty much anything, phones aren’t invincible! Do you know, for example, that your phone uses the battery to search for reception? This will seriously drain it!
By the way, don't let your phone lose its battery completely before you charge it. Just wait ‘til it gets below that 30% line. If you plug in your phone every time it gets a little below 100%, eventually, it will have a hard time recharging. So check out these tips and tricks so that your cell can stay by your side for longer!

SUMMARY:
- If you notice that you’re not using an app anymore, uninstall it from your phone.
- If you know you’re going to be in an area with bad reception, turning on Airplane Mode will save your battery.
- When you’re picking a phone case, get one that has a little plug for the charging port!
- Use a dry cotton cloth to clean the screen and the back, like what you might clean your glasses with.
- Your phone can tell you a lot about its battery life! Your phone might also be able to tell you when you last charged it.
- If your phone is hooked up to your charger and keeps charging after it’s reached 100%, it can drain the battery.
- Keep charging past that for hours while you’re in a deep slumber. In the morning you’ll find that your phone probably won’t stay at a very full battery for long!
- If there are any tears in the cord you haven’t noticed, or if it doesn’t fit just right in your phone’s charging port, you might be at risk for a spark.
- Don't let your phone lose its battery completely before you charge it; just wait ‘til it gets below that 30% line.
- If you keep using your phone while it’s plugged in, it won’t charge as quickly, and the battery will drain faster after you unplug it.
- If it’s super cold or super hot, it’s not good for your phone. Either one can hurt its internal parts!
- If your screen is black, your phone doesn’t have to “work” to light up any brightly colored pixels.
- Yeah, it might get a little annoying unlocking your phone more often, but setting a 15 to 30-second timeout can go a long way!
- Each time you light up your screen, it uses a little bit of battery. Think of how much battery you’re using just to check your screen that many times a day!

Keeping a lithium ion battery at a 100% all the time does not make your battery ‘tired’ it’s actually preferred that you charge it up all the way so that you can prevent the battery from dying which is worse than charging it to a 100%.

I’ve always wondered if you have too low of storage some phones will tell you that if you update that phone some progress on games accounts from that phone will have to be signed in logged in all over again from that device because you don’t have enough storage to do a software update for some reason that’s a feature for seven phones but I don’t know why it has to cause that many problems if you were to do that

They mean the phone starts to wear down and the battery itself won't last as long. And their correct to. Overcharging can damage your phone and in some cases even make the battery go poof.

I always charge mine too 100 i try not to use it while charging but i do occasionally.. if you notice older electronics from 70s and back still work with not that much trouble can go decades with out bein used. Yet stuff made more recently it seems if you dont use it for a longtime they may not work again..
When you tried to uninstall a app some of them you can't uninstall because it comes with the phone
including a circuit that cuts power to the battery when it reaches 100% is pretty trivial. can imagine manufacturers purposely not including this so you have to replace your phone/battery more often.
Contrary to this idea is the reality that loyal/life-long customers are made when a company’s product is superior to its competition. For example, battery technology that allows for a longer lifespan.

You phone does stop charging at 100 but then it gets down to 99 then charges back to 100 and this cycle goes on the hole night and the battery just loses it's efficiency the more it stays fully charged

Changing wallpapers to black to save battery depends on what kind of display your phone is using. for sure this technique will only work for OLED and AMOLED displays since it turns off the light of the pixels to produce black colors. But this does not work on IPS LCD displays since IPS LCDs just covers the pixels to produce black

My phone has a Ultra Battery Saving Mode thingy, it sets the background black and makes me use only 6 apps. (My phone is a HUAWEI Y6 2018 if you want to know or you are curious)

02:03 - Know when to stop doing software update - Once the support period is over, no company will send you further updates. Where do you think you'll download unsupported update from ? Unless you're flashing a custom ROM which most people don't do
04:34 - Wireless charger isn't the best way to charge. Both the coils on phone and wireless charger have to perfectly align to charge properly. If not a lot of electricity is converted into heat which will affect the battery.

Idk how I discovered this, however I was just troubleshooting one day when my phone was buffering & the internet was going on/off. I went to settings, clicked on airplane mode, clicked off. Then after that almost 90% of the time my problem is fixed, just by clicking on/off of ✈️ mode. Strange I know. 🤔🤣 It just works. Almost every time.✌🏼
This battery situation is much concern but i think the teck and fone companies should device a way to let batteries last for 2days for optimal use....
