Don't get me wrong this new rendition of Dinobot is great and all but the original voice actor for the 90s version is non other than Scott McNeill aka Ocean Dub's DBZ Piccolo, also voiced The Vulture in Spiderman Unlimited, and he also voiced Logan in X-Men Evolution. Scott McNeill's gruffness is what sold the character Dinobot to the audience. So yeah knock on wood 🪵 Fun facts: 1. Cheetah is voiced by Ocean Dub's DBZ Goku and he also voiced Mega Man The Animated Series. 2. Megatron is voiced by Ocean Dub's DBZ Captain Ginyu 3. Black Widow is Ocean Dub's DBZ Frieza 4. The background soundtrack for that specific fight between Dinobot and The Decepticons for the Golden Disc is the same background soundtrack for King Willie vs The City Predator in the 1990's Predator 2.

They can’t retcon the greatest episode in Transformers history. Beast Wars - Code of Hero will always be the much better version of this episode. This is something Michael Bay lacks in all of his films.
At this point I’m just gonna assume that every writer who plans to kill dinobot is contractually obligated to give him the best death scene their minds can cook up.
While this Dinobot sounds more noble in terms of voice tone, the OG Dinobot just was more noble. Even though his voice sounded like a Death Metal Band lead singer after 3 back to back tours, the way he spoke was much more eloquent and refined, a stark contrast between the two. @@dippy_1999 No, that’s just lazy writing to keep doing the same thing over and over again. We already saw him going out blazing in BW, we don’t need to see him dying again in similar fashion but with less development.
@@chanbricks4461 yup
Damn! Cartoons back in the day really didn’t sugar coat things but put them in perspective in ways that both kids and adults could understand and appreciate the situation. Those really were some great years to be a kid. 😢
DB always knows how to tug on the heart strings no matter what continuity 😢
At least they kept dinobot’s character in tact, honor to the end
Kinda awkward without the original voices, but I'll be dammed if this ain't a punch in the gut.
indeed
I think at that point when Code of a Hero dropped Scott McNeill was voicing like half the cast including Dinobot, like five characters. And knocking them all outta the park.
Let the battle be joined
Oh no Dinobot 😥😭
0:19 brah, if you ain’t heroic, I don’t know the meaning of the word 💔😭🦖
He isn’t my dinobot but it’s still a good sacrifice
Killed him off so quickly pissed me off. My favorite transformer of all time, wish dinobot would fight more along side with the autobots. But still glad he talked with optimus prime, cuz he never had the chance 2 c him in the beast wars
Too bad they never got the original voice actors (due to being cheapskates) for it would have been amazing as both actors would have known the incredible heroism of their characters and impact on transformers.
@@andrewnlarsen yup. I was hoping scott mcneil would voice dinobot and rattrap. Original voices were alot better than the voices now
@@Deadmancrawler Blame it on Netflix hiring non-union actors.
Just like back then, Dinobot sacrificed himself to give hope, this is why Dinobot is my all time favorite Beast Wars Transformers character, from Predacon Warrior to Maximal Hero "Let his Spark join the Matrix, the greatest of Cybertron"
The weight of this scene is really brought down by the way Primal’s VA says turrible
Yeah that really killed the moment
Him saying he would have been a terrible Maximal is what ruined it for me, even if it was a joke.
Eh, I thought it was fine. But yeah, BW Megatron's VA sucked. I mean, at least the VA did what he did trying to deliver his lines, but man Netflix really should try to pick VAs that sound almost like the original or better. Hell, get the original VAs like Peter Cullen. But I doubt they would.
After all, MONEY MONEY MONEY and MORE MONEY.
@@swarz08 that unfortunately won’t happen I’m afraid. The whole reason the original voice actors scarcely return is because they are unionized so they get paid fairly, and as such Hasbro decides to choose ununionized VAs so they get more money from it.
@Roman The Film Lover I've never even seen OG Beast Wars, and thus never heard OG Beast Wars Megatron's voice, and I agree with you. BW Megatron in this series literally sounded like a huge Megatron fanboy if anything.
So yeah knock on wood 🪵
Fun facts:
1. Cheetah is voiced by Ocean Dub's DBZ Goku and he also voiced Mega Man The Animated Series.
2. Megatron is voiced by Ocean Dub's DBZ Captain Ginyu
3. Black Widow is Ocean Dub's DBZ Frieza
4. The background soundtrack for that specific fight between Dinobot and The Decepticons for the Golden Disc is the same background soundtrack for King Willie vs The City Predator in the 1990's Predator 2.
I kept thinking I heard that music before.
No one can replace Scott Mcneil's voice work that made Dinobot alive.
No constant rapter growling or snarling in between sentences?
I think it's better to not try and replicate it and his this voice actor do his own thing.
(Hold his hand) I'm sorry dinobot
I admit I found out about Beast Wars through this, but I’m glad I did, seeing everything from this to Beast Wars, I appreciate these scenes more now after watching Beast Wars, I hope one day we can get a new show for Beast Wars, starting it over again with everyone back and showing everything happen, I may not have grown up with Beast Wars but I love it all the same
They should do a scene where BW dinobot comes in after the others leave, looks at this dinobot and nods his head while saying: “Well done, hero.”
Imma be honest, i liked the original Dinobot and Megatron voice actor
The voice of dinobot wasn’t that in fact I think it was good sure the original voice is a classic. But this one wasn’t really bad compared to this version of beast megatron
Once again Dinobot prove that he is a warrior with honor until the end even in different timeline dimension.
Perhaps in one of the multiverse timelines dinobot can prove himself worthy and become a prime.
No matter what version, so far all his incarnation are worthy(though some took longer than others to get there mind you).
They can’t retcon the greatest episode in Transformers history. Beast Wars - Code of Hero will always be the much better version of this episode. This is something Michael Bay lacks in all of his films.
Love the nod too rattrap and dinobot where close friends
“Tell my tale. Tell those who ask, let me judge to the court….and the rest is *silence* “
Such heroic words
At this point I’m just gonna assume that every writer who plans to kill dinobot is contractually obligated to give him the best death scene their minds can cook up.
No. The original death is far away much sad and epic...
While this Dinobot sounds more noble in terms of voice tone, the OG Dinobot just was more noble. Even though his voice sounded like a Death Metal Band lead singer after 3 back to back tours, the way he spoke was much more eloquent and refined, a stark contrast between the two. Here his dialogue is just... Flat. Extremely flat.
Dinobot's spark is pure, but he is only misguided by his choice of beliefs.
Not again... NOT AGAIN!
lol
He could’ve said Cheese-lips to Rattrap after he said “Saving vermin, like you”
Okay I'm not crying. 🥹 *Hold my tears*
Rip Dinobot 🥺
Truly a noble warrior to the end 🎖️
Dinobot's canon event was him dying
Can we just like...get a series where Dinobot gets to live? hahhaa
I'm trying my best not to cry for Dinobot after watching Megatron's sacrifice in power of the primes
Same
Tell my tale to those who ask, tell it truly. The ill deeds, along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest is silence.
1:38. To 2:15. War For Cybertron Trilogy Dinobot’s Death may not been Beast Wars Code of Heroes Death. But it’s Still Heartbreaking just like his Beast Counterpart War For Cybertron Dinobot is truly good person who worked with The Wrong Side but In The End he finally revealed his true colors A Warrior with a Code of Honor. Beast Wars Dinobot Destroyed The Golden Disk and Saved Humanity from being Erased and War For Cybertron Dinobot Managed to Steal The Matrix from Megatron and returned it to Optimus Prime. Plus Krizz Kaliko (War For Cybertron Dinobot) was Definitely an Incredible Successor for Scott McNeil (Beast Wars Dinobot).
That the second time Ive had to watch my favorite TF character die. 😭
He did what he felt was right in his spark. And we shall always remember him.
😥😭😭😭😭
F DINOBOT
Dammit as if the first time wasn't sad enough!!!!
No matter what reincarnation, Dinobot will always lived as a warrior and died as a hero.
The most badass maximals ever lived.
I rewatch it beginning to end and the fact that it still has loose ends to tie up
Till all are one
r.i.p dinobot
he was such unnderrated character
let his spark join the matrix, the greatest of cybertron
Just stumbling upon this series and going from the Voices in Beast Wars to actors chosen here is rough lol
A terrible Maximal? He was THE BEST one!
@@nicholaslehner3004 I think he meant that Dinobot was Predicon to the core. He just represented the ideal Predicon.
Meu eu chorei nessa parte
Not the same without Scott McNeil.
Rip Dinobot your a Great warrior of beast war and kingdom
Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly, the ill deeds and the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest, is silence.
It was a hell of a thing when Dinobot died. Watching it again was pretty emotional. I would have liked it if they used his original last words "The rest is silence...".
I'm watching this moments after binge watching OG Beast Wars and I'll respectfully say, please watch the OG series. Dinobot is my favorite in the series.
I wish Dinobot didn’t die he’s my favorite Beast Wars character his death makes me tear up.
Everyone who is a Dinobot fan, including me, has a love hate relationship with the "code of hero" episode
We love his speech and his comments with rattrap but hate the fact that he died
We enjoy his code of honor while hating the fact that he would never become a prime
It kinda reminds me of Grimlock
Grimlock has similar potential as dinobot, but was deemed to be more aggressive then dinobot
Loved dinobot in the beast wars cartoon but I put what I know of that dinobot onto this one. Wish they had done a side movie for the beast wars crew so those that didn't watch the show could get to know them. This dinobots death doesn't hit as hard as the originals does cause I don't know him very well.
@@ssjtruncks90 they are even the wrong size in this show. Suppose to be human being size in beast wars.
This is up there with Armada Starscream, it’s really sad what be happening to these guys and how they die
Ok not bad butb: DINOBOTS death scene in Beast Wars was so beautifully done my wife who was sitting next to me asked ; are you crying and said yes i mean it had so much emotion and the way RATTRAP was so choked up then saluted him that was it i was crying lol
It's a shame they couldn't get Scott McNeil to return for this.
THE PREDACON MOST MAXIMAL EVER EXISTED, GREAT DINOBOT
Honestly. I don’t hate the Krizz Kaliko’s voice acting. But I prefer Scott McNeil’s acting because it was more animalistic and fitting for beast wars.
This is two time Lines I have seen him die hope in the next one we'll get to see the best version of dinobot
So sad 😭
Dinobot was the highest point in this entire chapter of the franchise.
He lived a warrior and died hero 😢
till all are one
Im not going to cry again
