Really good informative video. I appreciate you as you are giving the minutest details. One more doubt please. In Passport Seva Kendra do they not get our signature in any of the counters? Because in the actual Passport our signature has to appear know? You've mentioned about taking Biometric but not the signature. Can you clarify please?

1. I'm applying for a passport reissue, to include my spouce's name. Would they take my old passport (Expires in a year), or would they hand it over to me after verification at Passport Seva Kendra.
2. If they do return the old passport to me, Do they punch my old passport ? Or Do they stamp as cancelled ?
The reason I'm asking these is I'm travelling in about a week's time and I'm worried that I may not receive my passport in time. Would I be able to travel on my old passport if in case the new passport doesn't arrive on time. Appreciate your help.
Naveen. You are not going to hand over your passport anywhere . You are just providing your passport as a proof for your wife . So there is not problem . You need to take a photo copy of it self attested and have the original in hand . They would just verify and return back .

Jayesh .No need of voters Card just Aadhar is more than sufficient . Have the original and self arrested photo copy . If possible have your 10th marks card as well

In my aadhar card ful address is not mentioned but when I apply passport online, I have mentioned full address. When I go for passport verification, there was any problem regarding address??
U need to have your aadhar in hand and they will ask why not full in entry counter . Just tell them reason and actual full details is needed in A counter . Make sure u update ur full clear address there .

Gail . Only way is to cancel it . They provide the dates and we cannot select the dates . But next month 24th is a too long , not sure why did that happen

Anirudh.. not necessarily u have to be there but some one who can tell your Aadhar id should be there at home . Yes you will get a link to track your delivery status

Take a photo copy . Self attested it by signing on it . No point in having digilocker or even r-verified . Have hard copy origin and photo copy

Shahada . If u have taken Tatkal. Will take around 1 hour . Now if it’s normal and ur time is morning 9-10 then again 1 hour . But if normal and post 10 then probably more than 2 and half hours

It’s all digital . You need to just take what is mentioned while taking the appointment . And to police station just take the adhar , photo and print out what u took to passport office
I'm going to day tatakal passport Frist one' is slow document submit. And another a b c. A 15 minutes. B 3 minutes. C 5 minutes. Normal passport full wating
There is a spelling mistake in my Application will they correct during varification as there is No Correction option for us in the Application process.=
Defenitely they will correct in Counter A . They will confirm before they submit . No need to worry .

When I'd apply for new passport, they insisted me to submit the 10th marks card also. Firstly when I'd been there, I didn't take my 10th marks card. Wherein I'd only taken the aadhar and pan. They had put my application on hold. Due to which I needed to go another day. Soo better carry your 10th marks card also along with aadhar.

@@saravanakumar4603 you need to take your original 10th Marks Card, Aadhaar card and also take your PAN just in case required. Along with all the originals take a xerox copies of all those documents self attested by you. Further, with regard to the Aadhaar Card don't download the aadhaar from the website and take it instead take the original pvc card or the aadhar as submitted by the UIDAI.
Since you do not have the original 10th Marks Card with you, take the xerox 10th marks card which is duly certified by the college. While verification, state that the originals are with the college and show them the certified copy of your 10th Markscard. Im not sure whether they would aceept but still they might.

Hi Sana , my advice would be better to update ur Aadhar through online or even Bangalore 1 . Have proper dates . Later if possible have ration card , election card . Just have these . But make sure adhar is updated

Hello Ashish, I am currently 16 running age and i am going to apply for a fresh passport in a few days
I have heard from people that i have to take both my parents with me to the PSK and also I'll have to submit both my parents passport copies as well as i am a minor
The problem is on my documents both of my parents names are having some minor mistakes so in my documents the names of my parents are different to what they have in their passports and documents so what will happen if i go and submit those documents would they let go off that mistakes or I'll have to wait till i get 18 and then apply for a passport as an adult
I have heard one more thing that minor passport do not require police verification is that a case?
Practically details of parents are supposed to be correct as you are going to apply . But you can give a shot . Make sure in A counter you tell these things . They will update actual name . Don’t worry would be good . Kind of yes about police verification . If yes also it doesn’t make a difference u need to just go provide 500 bucks to them . Mostly for minors no verification

There isn’t a particular parking lot provided by passport SEVA Kendra . But there are many private parking spots per hour 50/- . Keep having a look at the left side before reaching office u will find many

What ever address in your Aadhar will be reflected in passport . Both will be same . Aadhar origin and photocopy with self sighed doc is needed
