I'm glad that finally, in 2025, I've committed to financially supporting you lovely human beings. Thank you for all you do and for the lives you've touched. Game on! ❤
Excellent episode! Huber's so great at keeping things moving and the energy up, really, really hope to see more of him hosting regularly and not just as a fill in.
i also was given a PS5 Pro for Christmas. And yes I am adult who no longer lives at home. So it was awesome to get a console from parents after all these years.
Favorite intros are Chrono Cross pre-title screen cinematic and Final Fantasy VIII Squall vs Seifer intro cinematic. Final Fantasy VII's Midgar train opening cinematic is iconic as well. PS1 FMVs just hit different.
Grateful to Huber for turning me towards Darkest Dungeon 2 last year, i was totally wrong for avoiding it based on early Steam reviews. I've been on Act 2 for a while, then took a BG3-sized break, but i got the boss strat down, i've upgraded my characters, definitely going back in and finishing it.
Switch 2 will be so powerful it'll be able to play 20 year old PS2 Kingdom Hearts games *natively* & not cloud based! I'm still bitter about that, if you can't tell
Starting the new year with an Easy Allies podcast is always a treat! 🎉🍹 Loved hearing everyone’s takes on holiday gaming adventures and what’s coming up in 2025. The laid-back vibe mixed with insightful discussions makes this podcast such a joy to listen to. What’s everyone’s most anticipated game or gaming event this year? Let’s kick off 2025 with some great conversations! 🚀🎮"
I disagree about HD-2D being the end-all be-all of the future of these pixel games. Aside from all looking the same, SO many people I know hate them simply because they are actually incredibly lazy and easy to make. They're the equivalent to just plopping unreal assets in to a 3D game at this point and selling it for full price. That said, these original games are still great and I LOVE that they give you the option by releasing the originals as well. Also, I would not mind an AfterEffects-ized version of the Marl Kingdom games. 🥺 Just make them prettier.
I had a rough 2024 gaming wise. A lot of the games I was hyped for either didn't click for me or I got burned out on(Rebirth and Unicorn Overlord specifically) Here's hoping for an amazing 2025! L&R
This happened to me a lot. Try some new genres and things outside your comfort zone or maybe even taking a break from games and watching some tv or read some books. These helped me get through burnout for sure :)
Avatar Fire & Ash is 100% coming out December 2025 --- it was originally slated for 2024 and pushed back to 25 a long time ago yes, filming the movie was completed with Way of Water and with a year extra for its post production creation we're gonna see it with no more delay
@@ChrisMeadows92 i wish they'd just release it in July it was very cold where i live when Way of Water came out, i had covid and wasn't able to see it opening day a summer (northern hemisphere) release just makes more sense, it's easier to get to the darn theater
@@charoleawood This summer is so jampacked, it's wild. All backed up because of the SAG/WGA strikes. Fantastic 4, Jurassic World and Superman all come out in a three week timespan lol. In you defense though, Avatar could stack up as real box office threat to all three of those flicks. I used to live in the Tundra literally, so I feel ya.
Ps5 sales will be in a bit of a trouble when switch 2 is out, wait and see. it easy to charge people these prices when there is no competition, but a brand new nintendo console? I have 500+ usd saved up which was meant for the pro (I already own a ps5 ofc) but I rather get myself a switch 2 now.
@@tcg2717 I don't really watch this channel like that but sometimes I hear some weird things. Pokemon is one of the biggest media franchises in the world. These guys cover games as a job or part time job(?). I just feel like this is really surface level knowledge and someone who didn't know probably isn't the biggest Pokemon fan. Saying Pokemon started as an anime(which is wrong) would be more acceptable to say in my eyes.
Not me either, but I do think ff9 remake for multiplatform with a lesser budget/quality than a ff7 remake would still be a profitable and safe bet to make money.
There is no way monster hunter wilds is coming to switch 2. Ps5 struggles to run it. Performance mode literally look like 3rd party switch games. And it runs around 40-50fps. Capcom is getting worse in optimisation department and with ever new release. They will do what they did with rise. There will be follow up to monsterr hunter rise.
Secret Level was incredibly disappointing for me. spoilers ahead: I fucking love Blur, their promos for The Old Republic are incredible, so my expectations were unfairly high. The games they decided to showcase just reek of Csuite decisions. Who in their right mind is like you know what people want to watch? Crossfire! The D&D episode was okay, sort of a neat twist on Tiamat, Sifu episode was awesome. It was also cool seeing things outside of the club since I'm still fucking stuck there, New World, I straight up skipped, don't care for the IP and the only reason it's there is because Amazon was paying for all these commercials for IP, they might as well get their own IP in there. skipped Unreal, again IP is boring to me. I am unfamiliar with 40k because I don't make enough money to get involved in that IP, but the episode was awesome. Apparently they dove right into the deep end. I fucking HATED the Pac Man thing, and then I watched the game awards which really nailed down why I hated it. It was just a backdoor pilot. Crossfire, didn't watch, no thanks "we have CoD at home". Armored Core....Mechs are boring to me. Blame it on playing Zone of the Enders for the damn demo we all bought that game for... I gave up at that point. Actually, I watched the Spelunky one because it had a short enough run time to justify watching, but some of these are 15 minutes of just blah. All in all, I had more enjoyment just rewatching the older Blur videos.
love you guys, have watched since gametrailers. Just a minor annoyance, the crew is too obsessed with pushing multi-platform everything and PC. Would prefer hearing thoughts on games but discussions often go on long tangents about how a game should go multi-plat or PC. Focused development on one platform has benefits as well so its weird. Seems like you're influenced by a very PC centric discord crowd or something.
I'm glad that finally, in 2025, I've committed to financially supporting you lovely human beings. Thank you for all you do and for the lives you've touched. Game on! ❤
Are you taking applicants for sugar baby roles❤
That's so f sweet that your parents gave you a console, Huber! Happy New Year to you all!
I love when Huber likes a word and starts repeating it.
KLASK.
getting a ps5 pro as a present is fucking awesome huber, happy for you!
More Huber hosting!
Huber has good podcast energy. We need more of it

Great job Huber hosting!!!! Always a pleasure!
you know is a light news week when diamiani goes all about the mechanics of the latest endgame content of ff14
Witcher 2 has an insanely good opening cinematic. I watched it every time I booted it up on my 360.
Oh yeah... that thing RIPS!
i also was given a PS5 Pro for Christmas. And yes I am adult who no longer lives at home. So it was awesome to get a console from parents after all these years.
Some legends say that Damiani is still talking, even to this day.
Also, seeing Isla always brings me such pride and joy 😊

Onimusha 3 intro was sick! :D
Final Fantasy Twelve CG intro is a 10/10, and the Deus Ex intro is indeed pre-rendered on PS2 and it rocks
The best intro I've ever seen was the Suikoden 3 opening anime into
And that music!!
@MrConeman yes it was the first mp3 I downloaded on my PSP haha
Blood being the mvp from afar when it comes to thos Circana numbers ^^
Mortal Kombat: Deception has my favorite opening cinematic ever!

This had me laughing way too much:
Isla: Do I hate that?
Huber: It sounds pretty fun
Isla: Ok I'm in
Marvel vs Capcom Collection jumped in sale is because of physical release.
Is the bet with Minnmax from Trivia Tower just not happening or have I missed it somehow?
I want a breath of fire 1-2 hd 2d games.
Mom's gone! Time to get wild with stories and tangents
Huber should host every week 😊
1:30:19 My sims cozy bundle is for Switch only which is quite impressive that it made top 20.

Hey there dear Capcom, if we could get a Breath of Fire 1-4 HD2D, I would be very pleased
Chrono & ff6 2dhd be insane. Never heard isla thoughts on elyuiden Chronicle. Did she love it?

Hi Allies 🎉
If you like semi-cryptic game design you all sleeping hard on one of the best jrpgs from last year - Romancing Saga 2 remake
If you want to play Genshin Impact, play it. I don't get constantly bringing up a self imposed problem.
Only so many hours in a day
I don't think they should remake all of those Final Fantasy games. That will take years. Isn't there a 3D remake for 4? Just release those.

Huber, play wuthering waves instead
howabout along with Final Fantasy Tactics HD 2D we get a FF12 HD 2D DEmake, bring ivalice together
Five hundred and ninety-nine *_US_* dollars.
