Just started watching Greenleaf and I am just in awe of this woman: her looks, her hair and poise. She is beautiful, inspired me to start doing Pilates again😃

Such an honor to know who is responsible for the fantastic hair and makeup designing for Greenleaf. I'm aspiring to be a professional makeup artist which means I pay close attention to both hair and makeup in film and television. The years of experience and knowledge is quit evident and corresponds wonderfully with the gorgeous set design and wardrobe. Absolutely gorgeous production you all should be proud of.

@Mary Ellen You have a 50/50 chance. There's no "of course" when it comes to hair if you have a number of different ethnicities in your genetic make up. Look at Meghan Markle. She has naturally tight curls and straightening your hair (chemical or wand) year after year makes it fall out. Merle is the exception not the rule...
I think her hair is naturally straight because at the beginning of the video it’s wet and it’s straight. Especially since my mom is of Korean and Japanese dissent
@@rhondavalen6486 Her father is African American and she had curls as a kid. The curvy hair follicles are S-shaped and set for life, though one goes through some degree of variation. I'm pretty sure that during the months she shoots, she makes regular use of the Brazilian Blowout. If you look closely at beginning of her hair line (not in this video as it's pretty poor quality but check out the Greenleaf show), you can see the texture of her hair - you can't straighten these extremely tiny curls using a heating iron.
I love Green leaves so much and you guys are awesome. Nothing but excitement from season 1 all the way through. you guys need at least 7 more years of Greenleaf. Thank you for the best entertainment God bless. One Love
I hope they put more of Desi's real personality in her role as Sophia! She's more lively than Sophia. Merle is the same queen in both places.
Yeah she is, but she is acting after all. Sophia had a lot going on. That caused her to be depressed, and all over the place.
