Whenever we were lucky enough to get to an INXS show, my friends and I would all agree on one thing, if we could have one wish, we'd wanna be Michael's microphone.
This was always a great “sing-along-song” in the pubs of Australia 🇦🇺 “She comes my way, red dress on, long black hair ...” “Oh baby I love you so, I need you now, I want you back, I can’t go oooooonnnn!” Awesome INXS! Ah Michael! Ah memories!
Omg I was at that concert! INXS were part of an onslaught of aussie talent that day and believe me when I say ......they were fantastic! Thanks for the memories ❤
I so appreciate and love all of your INXS reaction videos. I'm so glad to see people still enjoying and appreciating what an amazing band this was. Michael took a piece of all our hearts with him. Gone but never forgotten.
Nice. I’ve kept a hand-written fan reply letter from Michael from when they were just starting out - kept it all these years. Pull it out every few years to look at it & reminisce- happy memories.
I was at this concert! It was a great lineup, with so many great bands, running all day and into the night, capped off with INXS in one of their great performances. The group I was with had worked our way up close to the stage and the feeling among the crowd was just overwhelming. I look back and see how many of those artists together for the Australian Made tour are gone now: Martin Plaza, James Freud, David McComb, Chrissie Amphlett, Chris Bailey, and of course Michael Hutchence. It makes me feel old.
Inxs didn't do many cover versions, but this was one. The original was by an obscure Aussie band called The Loved Ones around 1966. Very different to this interpretation.
This one is good but the Wembley performance of this song and all of them lol are superb! His vocals in that are crazy! But the bass is pretty amazing in this one too. I saw ya did The Stairs. Kick is also amazing that whole Wembley performance was perfection! It’s like finding an old friend! So dearly missed! 😓💙🎸
The Loved Ones who sang the original were fronted by Gerry Humphries, a force in Aussie music through the 60s. His last band was Gerry and the Joy Band. The Loved Ones made Everlovin man which you should cover
Omg guys, I know you react to the official video of INXS with Jimmy Barnes for the song 🎶 Good Times but at this show Jimmy Barnes was there and you can react to that live performance, it’s so damn good, thanks🤗 This is a fantastic performance another great performance by them is at Wembley Stadium for Need You Tonight, it’s a must react! Great reaction🤟
Hey Wolf Hunterz ... After all of these reactions are you aware that Michael Hutchence has passed away? It's best to watch the documentary Mystify if you're curious, I'd hope by now you are. It's just something important to know. Sorry to be a downer!
Dei here. I don't know why, but UA-cam hates me. I can't reply to any posts. Yet it let's me make a new post. I just wanted to reply to tania P.Bear.... BEST COMMENT EVER!!!! lol. If my actual reply ever gets posted, then you can ignore this one. And for anyone else who has asked me anything requiring a response, UA-cam has, for some reason, marked me as someone unable to reply to a post.... :(
I hate when people compare michael to morrison/jagger etc. michael was his own man with his own talents which shone so brightly, and IMO he's better than either of them. in my mind michael is/was/always will be the best frontman in rock history.

That’s Michael’s talent!

Michael Hutchence was an amazing show man. I saw INXS , in Toulouse ( France ). The show was really great.
Nice. I’ve kept a hand-written fan reply letter from Michael from when they were just starting out - kept it all these years. Pull it out every few years to look at it & reminisce- happy memories.
I saw this tour in Perth, Western Australia. A whole day of Aussie bands ending with this awesome band. It was a great show.
The 91 Wembley performance of this song I feel is even better!
I grew up listening to INXS, thanks for introducing me to this version, what an amazing performance!
Just got into INXS in depth 7 months ago and have been hooked on their music since then. Thanks so much for the reactions.
The best live performance of this song.. loved it!
That boy flat had a voice and it's sad that he passed so early .
The last 20secs of that song IMO show what an absolutely incredible singer he was.

Rip michael. Such a special human

Yes, I prefer The Loved Ones original version over this one, Gerry Humphries (R.I.P.) had a grittier voice for this song........
He was English saw him in caringbah pub
My favourite was the original also
Yes more INXS
Plz do INXS songs
Elegantly wasted
And
The gift 🎁
INXS were a classic Oz hard-touring band for years
like ACDC - with such a solid work ethic that made them tight
and loosey-goosey when they wanted.
Great cover of a great old Loved Ones song from 1966.
Killer track.... ❤
Michael Hutchence was great, It was so sad when he died. An end of an era.
Your ready for Never Tears Us Apart from them. 🤩
Wish I was there to see them live yeah 👍😎👏🎤🎸🥁
Suzy's faces to MH are priceless, "What she thinkin????"
You know what she thinkin 😄
Great cover version.
Listen bro to original by The Loved Ones, then relisten to the INXS cover .. they did a damn good job of making it their own. Love the channel 🤘🤙🤘
I agree - the loved ones are a trip in themselves. But INXS did a great cover
A nod to oz rock history! Great cover of The Loved One by '60s Melbourne band The Loved Ones, check out singer Gerry Humphries voice!!!
Love the pink blue hair !
Definite Jim Morrison vibe the way he acts onstage in this video….
Right. I always thought that Hutchence was the Morrison of the eighties.
Oh yeah. Those two just oozed sexuality. Meow!
@@taradevine6026 Your so right.
Spectacular :-)
This is 62% better than the studio version
A kick ass band with one of the most Charismatic Frontman of all time.. in the ilk of Jim Morrison,Robert Plant..

Yes. The original version of this song is great too.

So jazz bluesy. They could have had an entire other career! I miss this group, they were so good together.
The band is tight AF and flexible from touring together for years.

Good documentary!
You should listen to Michael's daughter sing.
Look up Rock Star in the dictionary and it should just say: Michael Hutchence

This is so like a Doors Jim Morrison performance 😍
so sadly missed
Watch the original “ loved one” by the “loved ones” also
“everlovin man”
I hate when people compare michael to morrison/jagger etc. michael was his own man with his own talents which shone so brightly, and IMO he's better than either of them. in my mind michael is/was/always will be the best frontman in rock history.
You think this is good! You need to listen to the original 1966 The Loved Ones sang by The Loved One..written by lead singer Gerry Humpnhreys
This song at the Wembley live was better imo
Y’all make me laugh… you are both seeing the same thing but different
