Dude i wouldnt even call it a CR. The only thing they have in common is the piston, bore and stroke. The rest is a different animal. Its more like the CR got kicked off the throne after its manufacturer abandon it.

Well guys I'm a Honda cheerleader all the way but they have forgotten there 2 stroke roots .. I'm on board with gas gas or Yamaha that still make them .. I enjoy riding anything on 2 wheels but there is something about a 2 stroke that a 4 stroke will never touch..

Ken is the 500cc. Gas Gas a TPI model? I was just wondering if BRC can make a Throttle Body Injected 500cc. 2-stroke, such as a 2024 KTM-250,300xc into a KTM-300 to a KTM-500xc? If they can I'd have to have one! If not as soon as my Father's Probate gets finished hopefully you may have a Maico 620 Enduro or even a Maico 500 Enduro of course with a keihin 39mm. air striker carb! I'd make the trip to buy it if you have one for sale??

One thing the 450 guys don't like to mention is a 450 making similar hp would be very unreliable and difficult to rebuild. A properly tuned two stroke will out live 5 450 race bikes.
New ktm/husky/gasgas 350 and 450 goes at least 150h with stock piston. You dont have to adjust valves for hundreds of hours. Times change and so do 4t technology
You have the real Gas Gas so no the BRC 500 won't work. The new Gas Gas bikes since 2021 are red KTMs. Husqvarna, KTM, and Gas Gas are all the same bike mostly.
Gotta get a softer powervalve spring & that dip will go away. 😉 Get me one of those engines & well bring it to the next level! Get the bottom & midrange bumped up to go with some big peak numbers!

The engine doesn't have the low-end of a cr500 or kx500 which is why it isn't "felt" by the rider as much. When I build one for Ken, we'll get the spring in it because it's gonna make way more bottom & mid to go with the topend. 👍

Put a carb on it. You will get more power. That ktm 2t injection is not as spot on as a perfectly jetted carb. But...its all about application. Meaning this bike is going to be a street legal take anywhere and the injection will get you pretty close all the time.
A four stroke works with a wider spread of power and give near the same hp as a twostroke thanks to its higher rpm delivery of hp, its a better formula on the track with less gearshifts and smoother powerdelivery, but for cracy people and mainiacs twostrokes is the faster option
I mean can look at the dyno, it's powerband is pretty much just as wide as the racing 450. But you get more responsive and controlled throttle on a 2 stroke. Only downside is you can't implement traction control on a 2 stroke, so you do have to be crazy.

And a guy with an XL250 honda living at the same motel said mind if i tag along and said we aint left yet ? And its all on we'er cruising ..i had or thought i had plenty of premix in plastic oil bottles duck tapped to the number plates on my little buzz bomb with a fresh top end .we made it to the Hualapal reservation where we paid the chief the standard $2 bucks to cross their reservation and then it was then a down hill 20 mile motocross race dropping 4000 feet to the river ..full sun not a cloud in the sky ..but about half way down here comes this cartoon looking black cloud of thunder and lighting with huge lighting bolts busting big rocks off the sides of the grand canyon zooming in on use exploding all around us while we are doing motogp to the bottom like in the animated movie heavy metal ..and we have no choice damn the torpedos full speed ahead ..we get to the river i do my turn around to get my tires wet so i can brag that i did this and here comes these huge rubber river rafts with a bunch of people on each one paddling for there lives with now white caps blowing over their rafts and then this truck and decked raft trailer sides up in a big hurry to get these people out of the river and fast as its the Colorado river white water river ride people that came from the north rim some two hundred miles east right into this pop up mini hurricane that happens once in a blue moon in the bottom of the grand canyon... the river boat ride people didnt have time to explain trying to save the lives if their customers ..only to tell us to " get the fuck outa here now". You see when you go down 4000 feet from a high desert plane to the bottom of the grand canyon river you are actually riding the main drain ditch for the south west of arizona and not the best place to be during a canyon hurricane that can happen without any warning except for the cartoon lighting bolts busting loose boulders r off the side wall of this mega giant drain ditch that is now filling up with enough water to flood the delaware only this water is moving about 50 mph down the 20 mile long hill we just came from that now we have to go back up against the current that was dry dust 10 minutes before ..so its gitty up or drown ..not exactly the pleasure ride home i had imagined....and you know those old but knew then YZ125 buzz bombs can really move when your scarded shitless racing the motogp for your life in first 6 inch deep water then a foot deep for a few miles and then a foot and a half deep and the little one two five is struggling wanting more power and im yelling to scotty to turn up the matter anti matter reactors ..and its, but Captain im giving her all shes got ...now scotty now or kiss your reactor good bye ...all of a sudden around the next bend we see the arizona sunset flying off a drainage till hump in the road braaaapa we win again so far but throttle pinned up hill for 20 miles in a hurricane of cartoon lighting bolts throwing boulders at us like in a video game turned up to level 10 while racing against the current of a flash flood cause the mighty bob hanna replica to suck the fuel tank dry and the Haulapal dont use premix to feed their donkeys and im on my last quart oil bottle of 50:1 yamalube and texico with the sun going down ..we made it to the tracks as i dump it my last quart of push juice ...and my partner on the XL250 says dont sweet it dude i can put my foot on your pipe and push you home ..and im thinking to myself yeah right for another 50+ ? @@americandude3825 Very fun bikes! Especially if you ride track. You can get really aggressive on them & because they have less rotating mass, they feel really good in the handling department. I have a 250f in the stable & love it! A 350cc 4stroke is also a really cool bike. Worth throwing a leg over one if you ever get a chance. However, if you plan on racing, you wouldn't be able to run the 250 class...obviously. but if you're an "age class" rider, bike displacement doesn't matter. Pr if ypu don't race at all, the. Of course displacement doesn't matter there either.

A kx100 has 28hp meaning 280hp/Liter This 500 should have over 100hp it has some serious parasitic losses and I’m thinking that the stroke is too big and the piston is too heavy. To make a powerful 2 stroke a cylinder stroke shouldn’t exceed about 60mm. (The gas gas has 79mm) The Aprilia RS250 (V-twin 2 stroke) gets 72hp because of this. Even Honda back in the 70s were making 250cc 6 cylinders because of this. *Their recipe was less stroke and more cylinders*. The RC116 (50cc 4 stroke 2 cylinder) actually won in a class dominated by 2 strokes. I think you guys could gain 20+ hp if you shortened the stroke you guys will probably loose a few cc but definitely worth it.
now that is a perfect bike. It's basically modern 500cc 2-stroke.

The way I remember it- Map 1 = you want to come in first place(aggressive power), Map 2 = smoother power curve(wet/slippery conditions)
On my 2017, plugged in is the aggressive map.
You have to make it up the hill climb on a 300 to prove your worthiness of the 500 kit.

Brc uses a pneumatic power valve, eliminates the ktm waterpump driven power valve and the use of power valve springs

You see when you go down 4000 feet from a high desert plane to the bottom of the grand canyon river you are actually riding the main drain ditch for the south west of arizona and not the best place to be during a canyon hurricane that can happen without any warning except for the cartoon lighting bolts busting loose boulders r off the side wall of this mega giant drain ditch that is now filling up with enough water to flood the delaware only this water is moving about 50 mph down the 20 mile long hill we just came from that now we have to go back up against the current that was dry dust 10 minutes before ..so its gitty up or drown ..not exactly the pleasure ride home i had imagined....and you know those old but knew then YZ125 buzz bombs can really move when your scarded shitless racing the motogp for your life in first 6 inch deep water then a foot deep for a few miles and then a foot and a half deep and the little one two five is struggling wanting more power and im yelling to scotty to turn up the matter anti matter reactors ..and its, but Captain im giving her all shes got ...now scotty now or kiss your reactor good bye ...all of a sudden around the next bend we see the arizona sunset flying off a drainage till hump in the road braaaapa we win again so far but throttle pinned up hill for 20 miles in a hurricane of cartoon lighting bolts throwing boulders at us like in a video game turned up to level 10 while racing against the current of a flash flood cause the mighty bob hanna replica to suck the fuel tank dry and the Haulapal dont use premix to feed their donkeys and im on my last quart oil bottle of 50:1 yamalube and texico with the sun going down ..we made it to the tracks as i dump it my last quart of push juice ...and my partner on the XL250 says dont sweet it dude i can put my foot on your pipe and push you home ..and im thinking to myself yeah right for another 50+ ? Then the fire went out ..but just minutes later there is a sheep ranch south on the horizon as the sun was going to bead till morning ...so i say to the XL dude now pushing my empty ripper ..wanna try it as hes wornout ..and the sheep rancher had a gallon of premix for his homelite chainsaw and dumped it in .and braaapa motoGP handle bar to handle bar XL250 vs YZ125 back to the motel with the boogyman on our tail ...the camber of commerce post card of seligma arizona reads. Very fun bikes! Especially if you ride track. You can get really aggressive on them & because they have less rotating mass, they feel really good in the handling department.

A 350cc 4stroke is also a really cool bike. Worth throwing a leg over one if you ever get a chance. However, if you plan on racing, you wouldn't be able to run the 250 class...obviously. but if you're an "age class" rider, bike displacement doesn't matter. Pr if ypu don't race at all, the. Of course displacement doesn't matter there either.

A kx100 has 28hp meaning 280hp/Liter
This 500 should have over 100hp it has some serious parasitic losses and I’m thinking that the stroke is too big and the piston is too heavy. To make a powerful 2 stroke a cylinder stroke shouldn’t exceed about 60mm. (The gas gas has 79mm)
The Aprilia RS250 (V-twin 2 stroke) gets 72hp because of this.
Even Honda back in the 70s were making 250cc 6 cylinders because of this.
*Their recipe was less stroke and more cylinders*. The RC116 (50cc 4 stroke 2 cylinder) actually won in a class dominated by 2 strokes.
I think you guys could gain 20+ hp if you shortened the stroke you guys will probably loose a few cc but definitely worth it.
