They can be made with various things, not only bacalhau. 19:08 - You got it backwards: the cod comes very salty (that's why it's called salted cod fish) and has to be put in fresh water for two or three days to remove part of the salt to be consumable. During those days the water has to be continuously changed, otherwise it becomes saturated and loses its "desalting" effect. 🙂
