- I've always had a separate audio device for specific scenarios like gaming and listening to music but am finally getting into this one and done solution with the Arctis Wireless Pro. It checks all the boxes and redefines how gaming headphones perform not only while your playing but are perfect work companions as well!

I've been having this issue ever since I got them. I just got use to them. When I'm gaming I never notice the issue though.

Why does noone talk about the white noise/hissing sound these headphones make?
I just got this headset yesterday and I’m having the same problem. I’ve been going nuts trying to find a solution. Not a single UA-cam video talks about it and every Reddit post complains about it with no fix. The hiss is so loud and the only way to kind of fix it is to turn the 8k in the equalizer down to 0 or lower
@@RsnWatchTehKo I have somewhat of a fix. Change the headset to 7.1 surround sound and also turn on the volume limiter. You can double click the power button or use the SteelSeries software to do it. I barely notice the white noise anymore even at high volume.

@@RsnWatchTehKo sorry to hear that man. The arctis 9x are wireless and don't have the hiss but I have heard there are Bluetooth connectivity issues. Could be a better option plus they are cheaper
How are you using the head phones? Do you get the hissing when your in game or using it as Bluetooth?

It is the most Versatile Headset you can get for Gaming and Streaming. Only thing they could possible improve on is the Mic. It is good, but not great.
If you're gonna stream and you have these I guess budget isn't an issue. I recommend getting the EVre20 and scarlet 2i2 instead of using the mic
i have a problem mine sound absolutely horrible and I can't figure out why. my 5-year-old $70 razer headphones sound 10x better and I want to know if they sound like you're listening through a plastic cup?. I've had free headphones on the airplane that sound better.
I've even returned them and got a different pair to see if mine where broken but its the same case
@@Ki-yg1ds what pair of headphones did you have before? I had the razer kraken 7.1s and these feel dreadful compared to them. feel like I must be missing something in the settings, my old headphones worked perfectly out the box
@@funky8965 yeah I’m experiencing the same thing. I have the razer kraken 7.1 chroma. I got the Arctic pro wireless because they were falling apart on my head and was expecting some real good headphones. When I plugged them in it didn’t sound that good but that was understandable. So I looked online and spent a ton of time looking for answers. There was a constant white noise no matter what I did and then the audio quality and surround sound. sounded not that great. I even got a replacement pair and the same story. I read online that it had bad insulation on the wires. I just decided that if the headphones don’t work out of the box they don’t work for me.

Sir question, pano ko i-seset para ung speaker ko is connected sa transmitter? tinry ko i-plug sa Line out ng transmitter ung jack ng speaker ko kaso walang lumalabas na sounds.
Ah! Same po sakin. USB nung transmitter to PC then line out 3.5mm to speakers. Try to check if the sound source is going to Arctis Wireless Pro sa taskbar? Haha

I use it as my work headphones actually over bluetooth. No issues so far but i haven't really stress tested the noise cancellation. From what I know though, background noises like air-con/fan are taken out. Oh, and my voice sounds thinner on them due to the noise cancellation. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the nice review. I have a question though, if I plug a device to the 3.5mm line-in (example my Nintendo Switch), will it mix the sound from the line-in or will it cut-off the other inputs and only output the line-in? Also, can you confirm if it's able to connect to 2 devices via Bluetooth? ... Here's the setup I have in mind:
- PC as the primary device using USB
- Mobile via BT (hopefully it supports multiple 2 connected devices)
- Nintendo Switch connected to Line-In using 3.5mm plug.
- Alternative 1: Nintendo Switch connected to the headset using the included Mobile Audio Cable.
- Alternative 2: Nintendo Switch via BT (assuming the Base supports 2 devices connected at the same time)
It would probably cut the other inputs since the 3.5mm jack of the switch is its first funnel for sound so all audio will be directed to it.

@@danteguarina5693 for the switch i connect it via a capture card to my pc and connect that to the monitor and open it using OBS (this makes the audio come out). Then i go to another hdmi port on the PC's monitor to have the switch in full screen. Hope that helps!
@@jonvhgaming I contacted Steelseries' customer support and they gave me the following workaround:
1. Connect the Switch's headphone port using 3.5mm cable to the base unit's Line In. We'll need a 3-pole male-to-male 3.5mm plug cable which is not supplied by Steelseries but easy enough to obtain.
2. Set the base unit to SOURCE > AUX mode.
I got my Arctis Pro Wireless today and it works. The base unit mixed the Switch and PC audio streams, and if you have your phone connected via BT then its also mixed. I can listen to music from my PC while playing on my Switch and can make calls on my phone -- all at the same time. This may seem superfluous and balancing the volume of each device is tricky, but the fact that this ability to handle multiple inputs from 3 devices is available to me already surpasses my expectations and meets my use case.

Had the headset for three months... First one the thing just would not connect to the Dac after two weeks, second one the mute got stuck on when connected to the Dac no matter if the mute button is pressed on or off lol

I'm using them for gaming and contact centre work due to work from home.
Got to give them their dues though easy to contact and get offered a replacement or refund so attempt number 3 will be here next week 🤣.

Is there a fix to the volume scroll wheel on the headset. Cuz I accidentally keep moving it when I'm e.g moving my head a bit or if i am taking them off when i e.g have to go to the bathroom or to dinner. It's really annoying getting ear raped sometimes, and it happens quite often so it's a little annoying, so if i could somehow freeze the scroll wheel or disable it
