One of my favourite Yes albums. Remarkable. Don’t have that Crimson album. Never see it in the wild! I have UK and really like them. Nice solo album. Love the cover! Great entry to Glen’s contest! Good luck to you😊
David..thank you for the kind words..Cool you focused on Bill Bruford…it doesn’t get better and what a resume…Close To The Edge is a masterpiece…just say the words King Crimson an you got me…I don’t have that U.K record..I want it !!! I have never heard that Bruford album..you showed some awesome records..you are entered and thank you for your support👍❤glen
Great focus on an amazing drummer - Bill Bruford. U.K. ranks up there with one of my favorite albums and I included it on another contest entry about which albums were the most influential for me when I was young. Love that amazing album! I always despised Asia for being the band that I blame for breaking up U.K. I know that Bruford and Holdsworth were not in U.K.'s lineup for their 2nd album, but I still love that one too. Besides, Terry Bozzio is also an amazing drummer and definitely an apt replacement for U.K. In a perfect universe, U.K. goes on to release at least 20 more albums.......
Terry Bozzio is from another planet. He's absolutely incredible! Thanks for the great comment. Ya...Asia also just wasn't very good....far too poppy for me at that time and still to this day I don't really dig it. I remember really looking forward to the release of that first Asia record and then was so quickly disappointed in it.....but that's just me.
@@yourvicarofvinylvov2013 Well it's just me too. I was so excited for Asia when I first heard about them and so disappointed when the album came out. I hoped John Wetton would take them in the same direction of U.K. or King Crimson but he went total arena pop.
Prog rock is not my normal genre but I do like all the albums you showed except the last one. I could probably find 3 prog albums, just pull Jethro Tull. Good luck

Much appreciated Robert! Ya that UK debut record is fantastic.

Thanks Glen....and congrats on getting close to 1000 subs...you'll blow past that soon.
Highlighting an artist's adventures. Nice concept, David. Good luck in the contest.
When I saw your video the first 2 records I thought of was the UK record and Starless and then thought I should do a couple more Bruford's
