Glad to hear it is working out for you. This is the goal we want to accomplish. Being in a shop should help you out a lot. If it is legit they should be able to help you and push your artistic abilities. It takes some work to get there but it is worth it. Sometimes you have to make it happen. Can't wait around for someone else to teach you. Good luck with everything.

Been watching multiple sources learning and your videos have helped however as I’m not an apprentice I can’t find anywhere that’ll sell me a spring tension gauge it’s doing my head in I’ve roughed in the liner and colour packing machines I have by setting my voltage on a fully loaded machine then looking at how the duty and cps are running, once I get 50% duty and 120 cps and the machine feels smooth I start my practice skin work ,:) hopefully I’ll find one soon or have enough pieces done I can get an apprenticeship and get one that way, it’s a shame because I want to set my second lining machine up for speckle shading and my second colour machine as a shader specifically . For now guessing my spring tension by listening and seeing how it affects the numbers each time is teaching me how to dial I. The machine to a ballpark but not perfectly and I can feel it everyone and then when running the machines. Anyhow thanks for putting out content i feel there’s a very closed mentality towards people getting into tattooing at home first and it sucks because as someone who has struggled with holding jobs and hobbies (chopping and changing) I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it at first so I brought a beginner kit. The more I research the more I’m enjoying it and practicing safer practices keen to apply for an apprenticeship at the end of the year!

One way to get cheaper tension gauge is to buy a fish scale on ebay etc. And replace the hook thing with tattoo needle. I buy my own wish application and it costs about 2euros. There is video in youtube where i find this hint and it works.

I've been trying to find a spring tension gauge online but I'm not finding one like what you use. Most of them are like timing belt tension gauge or a chain gauge. Do you have a part number for the one you have? So I can look it up that way. Love the videos and the info
