You know how when you listen to music you like you want to dance or move around. So basically moshing is an extreme form of dance. I also like adrenaline activities and moshing gives me an adrenaline rush. Plus in general it’s just a lot of fun. Even though I have been hurt in pits before I still have a lot of fun with it
Where I come from, that IS having fun at a show. People know to stay clear and the dudes in the pit know to stay clear of the edges. It’s the people who go into those pits and try to push pit like this that end up pushing the hardcore dancers into one another or into the crowd at large where people end up eating a foot or a fist.

From my preference, there's no bigger wanker than the person going to a concert with the intention of actually harming another person like a hardcore dancer does. Shouldn't have to look out for the douche that's swinging their arms around and mule kicking, trying to connect with someone and hurt them.
@@tbrogoit02 no REAL hardcore dancer goes to a show with the intention to harm anyone. In an ACTUAL hardcore dance pit, everyone has their spot and they stay in it. People may accidentally drift and make contact but normally it’s hugged out or understood it’s an accident.

If you're saying the ppl who didnt move away from your flailing violent actions fast enough are really at fault, then that's some bull. I've have been to many concerts, have moshed many times, and have received my shares of blows. The only ppl who like hardcore dancers are the ppl doing it. That concert venue is for everyone. Just because you wanna throw an adult temper tantrum and flail about, trying to claim that spot as yours, doesn't mean it is, and doesnt mean anyone around you is having a good time.
@@tbrogoit02 no what I’m saying is, in the area I live, and where I grew up playing/going to shows, people going to the show knew that the people in the pit were going to be hardcore dancers so when the pit opened everyone made room and the dancers in the pit basically picked a spot on the floor and had a little bubble that they did their moves in and rarely ever did anyone get hurt because everyone stayed in their space. I can count on one hand the amount of fights that broke out over the 10+ years I played/went to shows in my area and half of them were because two dudes in the pit were having a petty fight over a chick and decided to throw hands
