Some of the best animation I've ever seen! You brought so much life and personality to the characters; especially where they sneak into the fortress. Can't wait to see more!
Huh, very interesting, fascinating stuff! I was wondering:you seem to use that same kind of wire to animating jumping/flying characters quite often. Is there a specific kind of wire that works best for that, that you would recommend?
bigrickmachine There isn't much else to it... Some tips would be to use about 2 pixel feathering and making sure that the camera DOES NOT move when you're taking the shot to go behind the mask.Green screens can also be useful instead of masking and make sure to use Keylight for keying
how do you move green screen elements from one side of the screen to another, if they are not shot moving that in the actual photos. I am doing an animation and in one scene needs to be underwater, and there need to be fish.
Wow! I just love your animations. They are amazing. Nice work. Keep it up. I really wish i could be so good as you to stop motion. I just got a shitty camera and i can use movie maker and paint for effects :(
All of your behind-the-scenes videos are amazing! For an amateur like me at stop motion, without use of compositing, what do you suggest I do with simple stop motion apps? I want to incorporate large crowds in my videos and add other cool special special effects. What are some of the things you use around the house to help you create your videos? I ask you because you are so awesome. Thanks!
I love this video! Just a little tip. In almost all stop motions ever there is no motion blur, so when you composite things in and add motion blur afterwards, it looks very different from all of the other things that aren't composited in. So I suggest trying one without the motion blur, but either way your stop motions are still AMAZING.
Hey what did you use for the water in " LEGO® The Hobbit™: The Aggravation of Smaug "? What program did you use for your videos before you got Dragon Frame? Also your videos are awesome, so keep it up.
Hey, I have a idea to help your stop motions to be even better! Even though, you are the best. Add BrickArms to some of the stop motions, they look really good! You can have a DL-44 (Han's gun) and E-11 (storm troopers gun)
Great videos, but can you tell me where do you get the sound effects , and what software you superimpose other images, such as the back of the set . 😄😊🙏👍
really cool and interesting video. One question though, why is there a need to use both green and blue screens for the shot? why not use just green screen?
Can yoy make a lego animation-tutorial about work in Sony Vegas and footages? How to make a lego-footage and place it to the video? I hope, you'll answer these questions!
+BrotherhoodWorkshop Hi, I can't decide weather I shoud buy a camera or a microphone and continue use my Sony xperia phone. What do you think is the most important thing?
+BrotherhoodWorkshop Hey, I'm a big fan and I make LEGO vids too! If you have the time, could you check them out please and give me feedback? Thanks, you are my inspiration! :)
That 1998 Ninja glider gives me nostalgic chills...
Dude, I still got it right here in my room...somewhere :)
Some of the best animation I've ever seen! You brought so much life and personality to the characters; especially where they sneak into the fortress. Can't wait to see more!
Wow, this coming from probably the most skilled and all around best Lego stop motion filmmaker ever! You're amazing, dude.

What framerate do you use? Amazing work btw

@@MegaMansanimusic that’s high
BTS videos are always awesome to Watch, sometimes it's even cooler seeing this than the original videos
So you’re the guy that animated that minus nostalgia for the animation goes crazy man
It's always fun seeing the little details and Easter eggs you place in your shots.
Always great to see the behind the scenes and see how certain effects were pulled off! Love the Ninjago videos.
What's a good compositing software for Mac?
It depends on what you want to do but these two are good for adding fx
1) After Effects 20$/month
2) Motion 5 50$/lifetime
DTinaglia Studios sup
Hi
Garmadon Best NOOOOO why just why does evrything cost money per month :(
Racingcar 3 right!!!
Huh, very interesting, fascinating stuff! I was wondering:you seem to use that same kind of wire to animating jumping/flying characters quite often. Is there a specific kind of wire that works best for that, that you would recommend?
I would also really like to know please; been searching around for something but can't find the right kind.
when I first saw the clips I knew u had to make them because of ur stop motion style. And I keep watching them over and over again!
You are exactly what Ninjago needs
What kind of camera settings do you use? Also what do you do to mask out the wires?
+bigrickmachine Masks in Adobe After Effects, then a clean shot of the background put behind it
Prosser Media I know that, thats what I do but I always have some problems when doing it and I would like to know how he specifically does it
bigrickmachine There isn't much else to it... Some tips would be to use about 2 pixel feathering and making sure that the camera DOES NOT move when you're taking the shot to go behind the mask.Green screens can also be useful instead of masking and make sure to use Keylight for keying
Prosser Media I do all that I would just like to see a tutorial by him itself
Many pro tricks for those huge shots. Fantastic as always!
This is super awesome! You must have a baziillion tricks up your sleeve man!

how do you move green screen elements from one side of the screen to another, if they are not shot moving that in the actual photos. I am doing an animation and in one scene needs to be underwater, and there need to be fish.
+LegoElephantStudios for instance, how does the seagull, which is shot still, move across the screen?
no dislikes !!! its because you make such great behind the scenes videos i love them !
Use tracking markers.
Do them in a green slightly different than the screen so you don't have to mask them out.
Man, it's really awesome!!! Thank you for sharing the experience!
Great quality videos man! Awesome stop motions! Keep it up!
Wow! I just love your animations. They are amazing. Nice work. Keep it up. I really wish i could be so good as you to stop motion. I just got a shitty camera and i can use movie maker and paint for effects :(

Do a draw my life but BUILD my life!
I would hate it if I had to shoot the scene where the snake is being built.
Awesome thank you

what happened to jay at 1:26? It look like half of him suddenly turns purple....
I'm assuming LEGO gave you the summer 2016 Wu and Frakjaw to make these videos?
