    The Ferguson TEA revolutianised agriculture world wide. The hydraulic system was miles ahead of other tractors at the time. We still have one going strong since 1950s in NZ.

    this is when teactors were built tough. wish they were all made like this nowadays. my great grandpa had one of these and my uncle is still using it! and it runs like a dream!

    J'en ai un de TEA 20 mon père (qui était agriculteur) la acheter neuf, il est du 02/56, il a entre 15 et 20OOO h j'ai refait le moteur et réviser l'ensemble boîte et pont il y a une vingtaine d'années (j'était Garagiste) aujourd'hui il entretien les abord de ma maison, le verger, et une piste ULM, au total 3 HA, il tourne encore comme une montre, j'ai la charrue, la faucheuse, le chisel (canadien),le rouleau, la benne basculante avec l'attelage automatique Ferguson sur le relevage, une fourche lève palette sur le 3 points ces tracteur avait a l'époque vingt ans d'avance sur les autre, bravo Harry Ferguson !!!

    I love these old promotional videos. Music is classy, and you see people using the machines as they were intended. I have learned a lot from the old videos that modern implement dealers don't know how to use or fix on old tractors.

      what you can do is take the rear right tire off and place a long pole an just put your meet above the fir and let the tires roll whit first gear ofcourse you have to put like wood or something under the tractor so it dont fall

    Great tractor my youngest brother has owned a gas 35 MF for about 20 years still runs good . I bought a 539 IMT that's a copy of the 35 MF in 2007 . It has power steering and a front loader. Got many attachments for it for my garden . And it's a good hay raking tractor so easy on fuel.

    Super little tractor. Have one for 4 generations. And the thing about it was they start just like daisy. Mine is a 1946 ferguson brown.

      In Maine they used to roll snow before they had steel plows. I saw a documentary where one old timer said in May they would be breaking ice chunk off the road as big as your car.

      @@Alex-uy7pc yeah, my grandfather had as snow roll here in NH. Large steel frame with planks bolted on it. Quite heavy too pull with horses. Can't imagine how cold that would have been rolling the streets!!!

    My great grandfather mad the earliest front end loader known on a fordson and was called the tractor shovel, he let the patent lapse..

    the fella nxt door bought one and asked me to help him bring it home...it had a full growen tree and hedge through it but we stripped and rebuilt it over 2 years and its working nearly everyday and going to shows!

    My Dad bought one of these in 19 50s . He bought on special at the Scottish Highland Show and it came with 4 basic implements....Cost then 400.00 pounds all up.

      @@fazeeti2692 Wood floor and wooden sided 3 ton. Single axle. 30cwt all-steel tipper. Single axle. Ferguson did not offer a 2 axle trailer as far I know. 2 axle trailers aren't often seen in the UK.

    All those people around potentially dangerous equipment wouldn't be allowed today. But, in generations past, people had the ability to think for themselves, use common sense, and take accountability for their own safety.

      I remember seeing something about accidents at airshows, there was no compensation to the families and none was expected, your father or mother or child was just dead.

    I beleive Harry Ferguson refused to accept a knighthood from Winston Churchill stating that "no business man should be offered a knighthood as there would have been many a dubious deal done to obtain wealth and that knighthoods should only be given to members of the armed forces who carry out acts of bravery" this said at a time of ww2, nowadays even pop singers and bycicle people are knighted, gone are the days of the gentlymans agreement, nowadays a written contract isnt worth the paper its on

      In Rural america there are lots of old tractors still in use on small farms. My neighbor has an old 1958 ford tractor that he uses for cutting his grass with a brushhog.

    I was intrigued with the front end loader witch had the main pivot point mounted to the back of the tractor. Never seen one of those in real life

      I know this comment is 7 years old but there’s a reason you will never see that design many many people died because of it if the tractor died with the loader raised very bad things would happen

    My mothers brother bought in 1950 en Ferguson 26 tractor. Aften Manu years Well done work, among whitch was to drive with An 5 foot combiner!! It now still is om the same adress in Denmark and makes still easiere work. My son is still proud of it, and the motor works as e new O'Neill.
    The body Number is: 121673 and the motor number is: Standard motor number 72618 . The first Grey Ferguson tractors had en Continental motor!
    Hans L. Andersen Earlier farmer, now pensionist 85 years old!!
    An later Ferguson 135 was NOT AS god. It was repaird twice in the gearbox!!

    My neighbors have the one with the loader that stills works the loaders not on it but I found a shovel in the shed were they keep all of there old farming equipment

    Wouldn't trade my 1952 to 30 for anything, great tractor. That loader looks like you could loose some body parts in it if you weren't careful.

      I've bought recently TEK 20 model in nice condition. It's 65 years old and I've only adjusted carburator and it's working like brand new. Can't wait to plow my field for the first time in my life by myself. I was driving it around all Saturday and felt childish joy. I can't imagine what it must felt like to change horse plowing to this beautiful machine, it must be like gift from heaven to all those hard working people.

      The Vanguard van seen about 1.17 is an Eastern Tractors van, they were Ferguson dealers in the Essex/Suffolk border area, there was a branch in Steeple Bumpstead near where I lived as a boy.

      @@TheFowler99 The Fordson only pulled it's implements and was potentially lethal to anyone within 20 yards if it caught a snag.
      The fact that it didn't make the implements part of the tractor was it's downfall.
      It was good enough for completely flat acres in the U.S, but proved to be less than adequate on the much smaller U.K farms.

    My dad told me he's first ferguson had that loader on it. He cut it loose whit gaswelding and made a grader off it because he really didn't like the way you had to climb in to the driverseat.

    Cool.. I have been farming in Central Nebraska for sixty years and have never seen some of those implements. I didn't catch it but how did they control the steering on that Roller gizzmo.. Ha.. I still got my Dads old 8n that he got back in the fifties you should see it park between our three 7030 E's...

    I guess the sports ground where this was shot is now all houses or a "retail park". So sad that all our open spaces are disappearing or completely gone in the name of greed of local government .
