She's hilarious! I love her kinda "awkward" technique. Like, she would totally play it up like she was uncomfortable or something and then she would just draw you back in with every punch line. I like her!
I also really love unassuming humor. I'm not into punch lines being where you quite expect them. It's so great when the comedian just lets it roll off their tongue and the audience pauses for a second and then catches the joke. It's great.
Yes. I feel like she takes all the normal comic bells & whistles off, and she's just simply...good...in a raw kind of way. She feels refreshing and hilarious at the same time somehow.
I love people who can joke about feminism and equal pay and not get really defensive or angry about it. It's how the topic should be handled, not yelling and screaming about how the opposing side is so wrong.
The black guy and the white girl was fantastic, she is a genius. But the audience sounded a bit stiff, not getting the best jokes. I fell off my chair laughing.
That's an example that you don't need hilarious jokes to be funny and entertaining. I may not laugh as much as when I watch Louie or Bill, but can keep listening to this girl for all day long.
Ms Franklin is the funniest most talented stand up in comedy today. With her talent and charm I think a good TV series could be developed for her. Who's with me!
I love youuuuuuuuuu Marina Franklin. I follow you on Friends Like Us Podcasts!! You're the girlfriends and brunch mates I never had. Wish you the best!! You and Auntie Pat Brown.
She is so funny! One of my favourite comedians. Although these jokes are like extensions from her material from "women who kill". You know like the white girl voice etc. Always makes me laugh!
I never, NEVER post comments on UA-cam. But I love comedy and I love Stephen, and this is an embarrassing precedent to set. Borderlines on comics doing bits on their quirky ethnic parents accents at the Laugh Factory. Kill me. Better yet, fuck it, find me at a comedy club in 5 years, the bar has been set too low.
Yeah, I stopped dating my age range cause I got tired of being mistaken for their son. Did date someone 20 years my senior but ooooh my! She was fabulous. Even very young guys thirsted.thirsts. They should really give her a movie.
This woman has a philosophy i can vibe wittt. She say naps. I say what? Huh? Yes, please! You don't hear that much often. Napping as a mutual activity. Marina Franklin... nuff said. :D

On POINT.
Very valley, very white.
How would the audience react if a white girl did a black girl voice?

She's bilingual lol
She sounds like a valley girl towards the end.
"Why are you so angry?.. were does that come from?" That was pretty clever.

I agree. The public's reaction surprised me a little bit!
Her facial expressions are always priceless
Great comedic timing! I found myself grinning in wait for her jokes. Definitely looking forward to more of her standup.
I laughed so so much. Awesome job and glad they are putting these guys on stage to give them a chance.
Always been a fan of her. Hope there ll be more of her standup on here : D
this is old style comedy where every joke need not a four-letter word or sexual innuendo.
Your perception of new-style comedy is concerning
*****
thank you.
The best kind of comedy. All the sex jokes are a gimmick.
Need not?
Her white girl impression was priceless 🙌✨
I just died!! LMAO!! White girl impression was spot on!!

Oh, shut up. It's comedy, it's subjective. Good luck on your standup career. You'll find it's harder than you think.
"I'm bilingual, I can do both"D
Yeah, I stopped dating my age range cause I got tired of being mistaken for their son. Did date someone 20 years my senior but ooooh my! She was fabulous. Even very young guys thirsted.thirsts.
They should really give her a movie.
Loved it

Oh, so funny! I love when Stephen Colbert has comedians on the show! #SuperFunny! : >
she looked a little stiff on stage, but her content was well thought out. I enjoyed this a lot.
