    Tried this recipie.tasty but my buns were hard not pourous.pls tell me what i did wrong?? I did not add to much flour to knead .

    Cooking in oven started giving off smoke from the bun. Had to stop the baking. I used all purpose flour… any ideas what I must have done wrong ?

      Might be a late reply, but I am thinking maybe the ingredients were getting burnt like onion, coriander, chillies etc. Just saute those ingredients only for a few seconds..

    Also.... Your aatu kaal paya is a home favourite.... Used ur recipe from kannamma cooks website.... If possible please make a video which would help many beginners... 🤣

    The color of the bun is not sufficient. May be you have to bake it few more minutes.
