How to make CRAB CAKES with Imitation Crab | Easy, Delicious & Mouthwatering Imitation CRAB CAKE

  • Today I will share a VERY flavorful recipe for crab cakes! Generally these are created using jumbo lump crab meat from blue crabs right here in the state of Maryland!
    But my goal is to share with you all a recipe that everyone can try regardless of your budget or accessibility. So I will be preparing the same recipe using imitation crab (surimi) from your local Asian supermarket like Lotte or H-Mart!
    If you’re doing a special dinner with your family you can get 1lb of lump crab meat to use in place of the surimi and serve your crab cakes with a garlic butter sauce or remoulade. Either way you can enjoy this delicious seafood recipe!
    Ingredients:
    Imitation crab - 1 lb
    Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
    Dijon Mustard - 1 tsp
    Oyster sauce - 2 tsp
    Old bay seasoning - 1 tsp
    Cajun Seasoning - 1 tsp
    Chill powder - 1 tsp
    Salt - 1 tsp
    Perseley
    Egg - 1
    Onion -1/4 diced
    Bread crumb - 1/4 cup
    Butter - 1 tbsp
    Olive oil - 1 tbsp
