They make AC story about the origin of being a blood more and more TRUE
I been waiting on this interview as to so many others..I think part two tell the story of the close relationship between bebop and bishop...As big bang said in 78 him and a few others push bebop bishop....still today a few still push that line.....They are straight allies...I left the scene late 74...therefore my knowledge of the Alliance would have not been 100% accurate so salute to co Jack and the Bops salute to Big Bang my brother my homie and friend last but not least salute to call Mac videos for bringing us the history
Thats grown man shit right there. I was definitely confused about that. And yet again, Mr. Lavender comes through to end all confusion.

This series is nice.
They had to be tough to be so small of a hood. I'm 35 from Texas and I remember hearing about Bebop Bloods back in 95-96. I remember a rapper had a video from Bebop. Dark nigga with braids. Didn't find out it was in Watts until I was locked up in TYC (Texas Youth Corrections) from my gang councilor.
Hat Gang was right up the street from B-Bop. I can't remember the names of the brothers that stayed right on 92nd, where Zamora stops, before it turns. They were from Hat Gang back in the day. I do know that they had a super fine sister named Carol 😼

That's real when ever the big homie Big ET RIP or Big Putty Mack from Center Park Bloods took us to the Eastside 89families or BeBop Watts hood you could tell that it was serious I remember being in 89 NHF hood kicking with og Baldy RIP and og butch dog they would always say keep your head on a swivel homies because the ECC was right around the corner. You could walk thru the alley and be in another hood. FACTS

That's for real, for real 😎
I knew alot of cats from all sides that that fell because it was so easy to get got because of all of the different gangs and their close proximity to one another. After almost every weekend we would return to school at Fremont, and someone didn't make it to Monday. This was in the late 70's 😎
Being a Blood you know when you run into a real Crip or Cripsssss and you know when somebody just a Crip sympathizer. That's universal lingo for Bloods on the West Coast lol. Yeah I had to put them S's on there because when Crips get deep you better do like Melly Mel say and summon the hands of God. Yeah and tighten everything up shoes belt socks it's about to go down champ.....
Shoes tied extra tight since 12. Today they wear sandals on da block. I can't imagine the comfort. When u put that red on, u gotta b ready to die. I was. When my mother moved me. I was alone wit dat red on. Ooo weee. The whole town hated me. There is a God. Flamed up.

That liquor store one 92nd & Central, Quik N Split, KFC on Manchester & Central, Churches Chicken, and Tam's on Manchester & Wadsworth. All danger zones. You could easily slide up to Tam's for some chilli cheese fries, and end up with a gunshot wound, if you were lucky. Them 89NH Family's would come right out of that alley behind there. They rolled up on us a few times but we weren't who they were looking for. They were looking for them Kitchens and them Coast. They weren't just blastin on anybody indiscriminately, they knew who they were looking for, but you had to get your eat on. Just another day in the hood 😎

Red-Hat very sharp and concise. He was able to share their story with clarity. Very intelligent brotha. They represented well on KM with well-spoken speakers. Red Hat, Mel, Smac, and KM all got that extra chromosome that makes them just a lil sharper haha. Really enjoyed this series, although they're a small hood you can tell their neighborhood bred thoroughbred gangsters. Gotta have a lot of heart to hang with the bigger hoods and that's what makes them deadly. Thanks again for another gem.
I thought the same thing. You wonder what these dudes would've done had they lived life differently. Red hat OG definitely carry those vibes of being an shrewd businessman. Charismatic and concise speaker something that's missing these days

On the Eastside, you couldn't buy your way into the hood. Those that had ends and were functioning on the money level, had to be from the hood, or they would of been robbed and even flat out murdered. They always had some kind of tie-in to that particular area. From the 40's on down to 92nd Street, the hoods are chopped up into small sections, just like that of B-Bop Watts. When it came to getting money, you initially probably only had 8 to 10 blocks to do your thang. Outside of that, it could be gunplay and death, real quick 😼
