I enjoyed seeing all of your planned new starts for 2024, Pam. It's always such a pleasure to see all the projects that you've been working on. You and Stephanie are amazing stitchers and I am always so inspired by both of you. Thank you for putting together this wonderful video and for sharing your upcoming stitching plans and fun. I stitched Dear Daughter of Mine by Blackbird a couple of years ago for my oldest daughter and it turned out so beautiful and she loves it and it is one of my favorite things that I've ever stitched.
Oh ladies! I love your videos! And Pam you go girl! You get those 24 new starts in 2024! I will live vicariously through you! And great choices too! 👍🏼
Once again, you ladies had me in stitches! (both kinds). I'm from Langley, BC, Canada & thought I would let you know that the "strange" figure in the Jeannette Douglas pattern that Steph pointed out is in fact an Inukshuk! These are large stone markers traditionally made by the Inuit in the Canadian north. But yes an Inukshuk was the official logo of the Vancouver Olympics in 2010. I love that you are starting the JD series on Canada Day, & I will join you.
I nominate Pam as Grand Poobah 😂 Seriously though I can’t wait to play along in 2024… and I’m requesting kitting projects for Christmas, hope my grown kids are prepared hahaha Happy Stitching!
Ohhhh Pam! What have you done to me!? You and Steph helped me get my stitchy bug back about 3 years ago. Now, I’m going to join you on the crazy train of 2024. I can’t afford 24 new starts so I will include some WIPS. Love you ladies and the inspiration you both provide.
Yes, I am going to do it. I have so many "I need to stitch before I die" that need starting. I'm 70 +3 and need to start soon. Love your start plan and I'm going to start planning tomorrow. Thanks Pam for the idea.
Just a tip if you haven't heard by now, a lot of us that like the vinyl bags are placing the pattern picture in a sheet protector before we slip it behind the vinyl. That way, nothing happens to the printed picture and it's easy to refer back to it often. Love your videos!!
What was the name of the cross-stitch you showed us. It was close to the last Halloween kit you showed us. It had 2 skeletons on the bottom? I’d like to order one Love watching you two. 🤗♥️
I bow down to you Pam. That is a lot of stitching. I found a way to get the toner off of the inside vinyl of a project bag - oil. Whatever oil you have - olive oil, vegetable oil, jojoba oil, etc. Once you have the toner off, you clean up the oil with dishsoap and water. I recently"inherited" Earth Dancer. I think it's so pretty. Thanks for sharing, and take care.
You ladies are so cute! I just love ya!!! My Mom was my best friend too and I lost her to breast cancer when I was 35 and my son was only 9 months old. My husband was also very close to my Mom and Dad. We all miss them very much! Our son is now 34 and we retired after 32 years of teaching in 2020. He taught Special Ed and I taught Kindergarten for 18 years- yikes!!! And then 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. Retirement is wonderful!!!! Anyway I just love your videos and hope to meet you someday at a cross-stitch event. We live in Arizona now, lived 32 years in Huntington Beach, California and want to move to Pennsylvania soon. Have a great week! I am going to try your plan of 24 projects in 2024. I think one new start and one WIP each month. I have enough charts to last for many years. LOL! ❤️🎃
Pam , I got a kick when you took a drink and then went ahhhhhh! Immediately it brought back memories of my daddy he always did that . In memory of him me and my daughter will do that every now and then and we always get tickled about it , thanks for the laugh and for bringing back a precious memory.
Pam, you're the best enabler there is. What a fun list of starts! There's got to be something for everyone in this selection. I am especially partial to the JDD Canada snippets. The image you were unsure of is called an Inukshuk, traditionally made by the Inuit peoples in northern Canada. My grandmother lived in Churchill, MB, and they were all over the city there! I've got to dig through my stash and see what my plans are for the new year; I'm not sure I have the drive to start 24 things, but a girl can dream 🤩
Pam you are an ambitious one indeed! It will be so fun to watch as you stitch them throughout the next year! You are amazing! Love the Jim Shore 12 Days of Christmas!
Wow! What an undertaking!😮 I plan on using the charts I have and not buy anymore...😮😮 and using as many as possible the threads i have on hand, again not buying any more. Good luck to you Pam!❤
OMG! I’m sewing project bags and I nearly fell off my chair when I thought I heard you say “Victoria’s Secret”!!! But you actually said Victoria Sampler. I had to go back and listen to it again just to be sure! Then I just laughed and laughed. Wish you could have seen the visual that popped into my head! Phew it was a relief when I calmed myself down and saw the beautiful picture of your #2 start for 2024. You two always make me laugh. Thank you for entertaining me!!
Hi Pam and Steph! I was so happy to see this extra video! Pam, I loved all of your 24 starts that you will be doing next year. I'm pretty sure I will be doing that hastag in some form or fashion. Stephanie, could I please adopt you as one of my daughters? When would you like my list of charts that need to be kitted up? 😂😂 just kidding. I think that is an awesome gift for your mama though! Both of you have a great day and God bless you.
I appreciated seeing each bag as they are all so cute! 🧡 Steph you are a good cheer buddy! Enjoy reading about the Canadian symbols in that one chart.❤🇨🇦
Love this idea so much and YES, I plan to follow you. I have so many I want to start and this gives me the incentive to begin all the things. Love you guys so much. ❤ Thanks for all you do for this wonderful community. Hugs and blessings on your coming week!
Morning ladies, when I heard Pam plans for 2024, though that maybe a little crazy. Than while watching and hearing your plans Wow Great idea! I have so many charts and kits what am I waiting for. My plans for 2024 is to start 12 new projects. Also we are going on Flosstube cruise in January, so will be coming home with 3 more projects. Thank you both so much for a great idea and inspiration. Have a great week! 😊🪡
Omg…I am stuck at home, missing the Sweata Weatha retreat because of stoopid Covid & in between coughing my brains out, I am in the bed laughing out loud at you two. 😂 I love it!!! I’m so happy Pam you have the door open a “crack” for extra starts 😉Now…back to watching (I’m only like 12 minutes in 🤣)
Great variety of charts, Pam. I wish I had your attitude, but starting 24 more charts on top of the WIPs I already have is more than I think I can handle. Not getting projects finished is weighing on me, so I’m going to focus on what I have. I might allow myself to have a new start for every finish. Your stitching accomplishments are both admirable and enviable. 😍
Oh my gosh Pam, that is a lot, you go girl! I don't have a plan for next year yet but I do know I won't be able to keep up with you. I thought I was a badass by starting 4 new projects this month... 😂 Take care and have a lovely week! Joanita🍁🍃🍂
I hope you have so much fun Pam!!! Yes the patterns are meant to be stitched ,so stitch away Pammy and enjoy every minute. I will always be out here watching cause it's just as much fun to watch what you are stitching as it is for me to stitch! You guys are hysterical ,had me smitten out my pumpkin coffee cake here when Pam said the m&ms hit her leg!!!😂😂😂😂 always make me laugh so much!!!look forward to all of your starts and of course finishes!!🧡🎃🍁😘🦔
How exciting it is to see you both tonight! Congratulations on your 24/24! Beautiful projects you have chosen to stitch! Hope to see you Sunday! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Very fun episode! I really enjoyed seeing all your upcoming projects and all the bags. I was amazed by the bags. I have ONE. Yep, that’s right. Uno. But seeing as how I am a monogamous stitcher, that is all this girl needs. But I did take note of the bag makers. So if/when this one ever bites the dust I know where to turn. Love your channel Pam and Steph!
Oooo Pam....you are the OG, the Grand Poobah and ALL the things! I'm going to "try" to start 24 smalls or ornaments in 2024! Wish me luck, I have no doubt that all.24 of yours will get started in 2024. WTG Steph for enxouraging mom to keep her hands and mind occupied ❤❤
Absolutely 💯 going to join in the craziness!! Honestly, who could ever outdo Jen Lee for greatest number of starts in a year??!!😅 I enjoyed this unexpected edition IMMENSELY, love it when you two are just winging it ❤ I can’t wait to go through my stash and start getting things kitted up!! Here’s to a full year of stitching in 2024 🥂🎉
Love this challenge! I have bins of charts and kits just waiting...now to start planning and kitting them for next year. Thank you both for your inspiration. Your videos always brighten my day!
Loved seeing this. I am also doing 24 starts in 2024 because I really like that idea. I have kitted mine up and to make it more random I have made another WIPGO board so will start 2 a month in whatever month they are called and have a minimum goal of 24 hours on each. Then I have 2 additional WIPGO boards - one has 12 large WIPs that will be on the board twice for 24 hours each call and the other has 24 smaller WIPs on once for 12 hours each. I get at least 120 hours of stitching a month so it’s all doable! I too will have other random starts during the year! I agree that the projects might as well be started and in rotation. Thanks for sharing. x
Really, really enjoyed watching your very ambitious plans for ‘24. Boy, that gives me anxiety, but love hearing / seeing all the projects. Thank goodness there aren’t any “cross stitch police” cause I would surely be in trouble 🤪. Thanks for the “extra” flosstube, ladies. It was great!!!!
I love this idea, Pam. Thank you for sharing! I could not start 24 in 24, but maybe I could do 12 WIPS and 12 new starts. We have some of the same charts kitted up. it would be fun to have a target start date for them. Have a fantastic rest of the week!
Ohhhh so tempting!! I might need to combine wipgo and 24 starts in 2024 to create a 'startGO' board. That way the 2 new starts are a surprise each month!
I loved seeing all 24 of your choices, Pam! You have a great sense of fun and adventure. I can't handle 24 new starts since I'm a very slow stitcher, but maybe I will join the SAL and stitch 12.
As always I enjoyed your video! Pam you are starting so many beautiful projects. I especially loved the traveling lady. I too love genealogy, history and historical novels! You two are always a joy to visit with!
Beautiful projects all snug in their bags. I'm in. I already do JCS Ornament SAL from FB group for 12 ornaments each year, so I'm halfway there. I'm starting Jeannette Douglass flowers that was a free pattern series so another 12 (but I'm counting that as one project)! I'm a serial starter, so I've picked out 11 more to start. What fun. 22 are kitted up. Yea! This will be fun. In 2025, you could do 24 plus a bonus one that you start and finish within the year. 😂😂😂
Yall are in rare form tonight!!! I can hardly wait for that Plum Street to become available, loved it at first sight!! Good luck with your 24 in 24!! I don't think i could plan ahead like that, i'd probably want to do stuff that comes out in Market and that would throw me off course. Looking forward to seeing your progress, kudos to you Pam!!! (I saw the bagpiper) I know you joke wirh each other, but you are blessed to have each other!
Ok Pam you’ve twisted my arm… I have 2 bins of already kitted projects just waiting for a challenge like this. I’m really wanting to start a floss tube channel as well so I think those will be my goals of 2024. I’m turning 50 this year and what better reason to start all the things! I (not unlike yourself) love stitching Nautical and Patriotic pieces. I also love anything with a dog theme or a good Bible verse on it. I love seeing what both of you are stitching on. Thanks for the motivation ladies!
I haven’t even watched yet and I’m so excited lol. I have my wine, my Christmas dimensions kit I’m working on and my husband is getting ready to watch Thursday night football so thank you for giving me something wonderful to watch 😂 (bc football is not it for me)
You are KILLING me Pam!!! I’m turning 50 this year so I was planning 25 starts and 25 finishes for going into next year. I’m thinking I gotta join you since that is so similar. I have Earthdancer too. My birthday is next month so I guess I’ll be pulling stuff out afterwards and making plans! Father Time doesn’t give a damn about us so we gotta get them in. I only have 23 WIPs now so that won’t do too much damage. May the odds forever be in our favor.
Well sign me up! This will be fun! We will see how many finishes I end up with, and my husband thinks I'm crazy, but I've already got my 24 projects decided!
I am going to focus on starting the Month to Month by stitching with the houswives. That is going to give me 22 starts because I have May already started but close enough. I am going to put them on my WIP go though so they are randomized. I am going to include May and just try to get that one close to a finish. I think it is going to be fun!
I am turning 60 next year so I am doing 60 starts in 2024. 24 of these are smalls. I am excited. I have the same philosophy. If I own it, I really should start it and get some enjoyment.
I’m joining in but I’m doing 13 days of Halloween and 12 Days of Christmas and I only have one of each as a WIP so that’s 23 New Starts right there alone for 2024. Plus the one for the retreat I will attend makes 24. So I will definitely have a guarantee 24 new starts this year!!!!! 🎉
This is a great idea but I’d never make through that many with the size of stitches. But I’ve been thinking of doing 24 ornaments or small stitches in 2024. The ornaments may be it, I like them so I can feel more accomplished by actually getting them done. ❤
Loved your special edition, Pam’s 24 starts in 2024 was very inspiring. I’ve never made a stitching plan for the year, but may try it after seeing this. Not gonna go with 24 new starts, but will come up with a good balance for me. Love you ladies!
great idea... I think I'll use this to work my Prairie Schooler yearly Santas. I have collected them all to date; they stitch up pretty quick and this will be a good way to get 'em done! I also decided that for my 12x12 I'm going to be Team Wips... last year was new starts and I worked those new starts into my WIPGO but I need more time to get them DONE!!!
I am simply dazzled by you two. 😮 I am looking for someway to mark next year as well since I’ll be turning 70…. ‼️. Thank you for the fun and for the inspiration.
I gotta say… this tube made me laugh out loud several times. I was at a retreat with my sister law and kept laughing and she said what are you watching? So then she started and we both kept laying in head laughing. You go Pam. I need to start thinking of my plans!!!
I am on the bandwagon with you Pam! Just beginning to get my list in order! I have only one chart on my potential list that is on yours. I will begin Earth dancer in October as well. I also have the companion piece Spiritdancer! Lofty goal to get that one finished on the heels of Earthdancer. Have a fabulous week!
Great projects! Your August Patriotic start could be for VJ Day. Rhode Island is the only state that has it as a holiday. But it fits with your start, US History and the date. See you both at the farm ❤
Pam, you picked some fantastic projects to start next year! Also, I've been watching since video number one, and not once have i ever heard you say "can i have a sip of your Dew?" I almost spit out my coffee! 😂
Thank you for inspiring us with the idea of attempting 24 starts in 2024. Pam has beautiful designs for 2024 awaiting her needle and thread. 😊
I love that you are starting the JD series on Canada Day, & I will join you.
I could never keep up with Pam in a million years ❤️
I have Queen of Freedom, too. A SAL, perhaps! Wink, wink.
I nominate Pam as Grand Poobah 😂 Seriously though I can’t wait to play along in 2024… and I’m requesting kitting projects for Christmas, hope my grown kids are prepared hahaha Happy Stitching!
I get so much inspiration from your channel. The added plus is the entertainment and true joy you give to us along the way. Love to you both!
I'm in! 24 starts in 2024! I also received my Just Keep Stitchin' shirt and love it!! ❤❤❤
Loved seeing all your planned starts for 2024! Thanks for sharing!
Stephanie...your comments were cracking me up. Thanks for the morning smiles! Loved it. And I loved the update on plans.
I love your steams every week but now I am even more excited to see Pam's 24 come to life all next year. ❤
Great idea, I had not thought of a page protector! Thank you!
What was the name of the cross-stitch you showed us. It was close to the last Halloween kit you showed us.
It had 2 skeletons on the bottom? I’d like to order one
Love watching you two. 🤗♥️
Way to go Pam - keep collecting and keep on stitchin'. I won't be joining you, but will be watching your progress.
Pam, you’re tempting me to play along! I retired this year and have so many things already kitted up that maybe …… ❤❤
pam and "vana"-- love you both. thank you so much for making me laugh and finding inspiration!
Pam, this is just BRILLIANT! Love the 24 starts in 2024!!!! You ROCK MY WORLD! First, I need to start making 24 WIP bags! 🤣😂
Pam you are an ambitious one indeed! It will be so fun to watch as you stitch them throughout the next year! You are amazing! Love the Jim Shore 12 Days of Christmas!
Wow! What an undertaking!😮
I plan on using the charts I have and not buy anymore...😮😮 and using as many as possible the threads i have on hand, again not buying any more.
Good luck to you Pam!❤
Alright Pam! You sucked me in! I’m currently planning my #24startsin2024!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Thanks for supplying the motivation!
OMG! I’m sewing project bags and I nearly fell off my chair when I thought I heard you say “Victoria’s Secret”!!! But you actually said Victoria Sampler. Pam thank you for encouraging us. You are so right, we need to stitch up the patterns, they won't do any good just laying there.

Thanks for sharing your 24 starts. You ladies are such enablers. Now I need to find me a rich man so I can stay home all and stitch. Lol
Love this video! 24 seems overwhelming to me but 12 may be manageable. Appreciate both of you! ❤
Omg…I am stuck at home, missing the Sweata Weatha retreat because of stoopid Covid & in between coughing my brains out, I am in the bed laughing out loud at you two. 😂 I love it!!! Hi Pam & Steph, All such beautiful kits to start on, and pretty project bag’s! I love the sampler ones and patriotic ones! Happy stitching ladies! ❤❤
How exciting it is to see you both tonight! Congratulations on your 24/24! Beautiful projects you have chosen to stitch! Hope to see you Sunday! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
SEASONS!! SEASONs! SEASONS! Cracked me up!

I kind of want to join you on this 😮 I need more floss, fabric, and project bags! Time to go shopping! 😂
I will gladly start 24 in 2024! So I’m boarding the Crazy Train to Stitchtown with you!
Great job of picking out projects that fit with significant dates to start. It is amazing and looks like a lot of fun for 2024 stitching.
Love this challenge! I have bins of charts and kits just waiting...now to start planning and kitting them for next year. Thank you both for your inspiration. Your videos always brighten my day!
This would be too ambitious for me but I love all the projects you have chosen. I'll be cheering you along!
Loved seeing this. I am also doing 24 starts in 2024 because I really like that idea.
All I have to say, Pam, is GO FOR IT!!!😊,
Same Pam! My DNA keeps coming back with more Scottish! I am a regular loaf of Wonder Bread over here! Scottish, Irish, Welch and Swedish!
I love this idea, Pam. Thank you for sharing! I could not start 24 in 24, but maybe I could do 12 WIPS and 12 new starts. We have some of the same charts kitted up. it would be fun to have a target start date for them. Have a fantastic rest of the week!
Thanks for sharing your 24 starts!! Makes me think of all my patterns just hanging out!! May have to join you!!!
So ambitious! 💚
Great choices Pam, such a cool challenge!😊❤
That was such fun!! Great projects!
As always I enjoyed your video! Pam you are starting so many beautiful projects. I especially loved the traveling lady. I too love genealogy, history and historical novels! You two are always a joy to visit with!
Very fun. I will be watching the crazy for sure. Cycling along. Scizkey is my new go to word. Awesome.😂
😂😂
There was no way I was going to do this. I have now just spent the last 4 hours picking out 24 new starts. Thank you for enabling me. 😂
Right?!?! My husband thinks I"m crazy but I already have my 24 new starts picked out too!
Beautiful projects all snug in their bags. I'm in. I already do JCS Ornament SAL from FB group for 12 ornaments each year, so I'm halfway there.
Hi Pam and Steph, go Pam! Way to be productive and positive. Great choices, especially the Queen of Freedom. 🎉
I will be joining you! I kitted nine so far. I will check my list of WIPS and post my total for each.
MY BIRTHDAY is DECEMBER 19th!!!!! 😃😃😃 look at us Sagittarius girls, Stephanie! 💗💗💗
How exciting Pam! I may join you in this endeavor! I too have so many patterns and what good are they just sitting in a bin? Have a great week!
Great choices. Good luck.
I love that you picked some older ones from your stash to stitch in 2024 - a good mix. Excited to see your progress throughout the year.
Steph, I missed your math! Lots of great projects here.
Shoot - I can’t even plan for next week let alone next year - lol
Right there with you @betsykohl7226
Your December start is going to be marvelous !!!
I am simply dazzled by you two. 😮 I am looking for someway to mark next year as well since I’ll be turning 70…. ‼️. Thank you for the fun and for the inspiration.
I love this idea. Your choices are always so beautiful. I get all proud when you reference Canada. 😊
I gotta say… this tube made me laugh out loud several times. I was at a retreat with my sister law and kept laughing and she said what are you watching? So then she started and we both kept laying in head laughing.
You go Pam. I need to start thinking of my plans!!!
Hey ladies, You are so right, I brought the pattern/kits so why not start. So I think I will join in the #24startsin2024.
Hi. I liked this video. Have started Earthdancer; had to pause and purchase the 12 Days of Christmas.
This was so fun. You've inspired me. I think I'm going to do the same.
