- Welcome to my let's play of Night In The Woods! You all really wanted me to play this one and I'm finally able to play it!
We did a lot of exploring and chatting with the towns people in this episode. If there's any more talking in the future I may skip it so that we can get further in content. I don't want to bore you all with side conversations 😅. Overall I'm really enjoying this game so far! I'm really excited for next episode because I feel that's when things are going to slowly pick up.

If I had to explain this game. It's basically making your own path, through Mae. What you choose to explore, routines you choose to keep, who you want to talk with. Both what you find and miss make your playthrough unique.

Just a little tip: those black speech bubbles with a white icon in them are a sign that there is more information about the town and that you can talk more to people!
There is a looooot to explore and do so take your time and most importantly, have fun! ❤
Pro tip, always make sure to search everywhere, always remembered you can jump cause there's hidden platforms that is not apparent and there's a lot of content that you'd miss if you just went through it so take your time, and if there's the popped up symbols there's usually always an action to do even after you already interact with it just check anyway cause it can lead to more content
Don't worry about "same voice syndrome" or anything. You've done so many Let's Plays, we all only have so many voices in our range.

Excuse me this game like completely rewrote my perspective on life a few years back when I found it…. It manages to showcase the reality of growing up in the rust belt in a manner I can’t even truly explain beyond wahhhhhhhhhh--I am so incredibly excited that your playing it. The writing. The symbolism. Aghhhhhh. Going to savor this.
I can't believe I missed this yesterday!!! This is one of my all time favorite games and it is so perfect for entering fall. It makes me feel better about feeling lost in life :) I hope you love it!!!

i love that i can watch you play this cause the only other playthrough i watched before this was from someone who isn't very savory of a person anymore.

Edit: I also want to give you a small tip Rose. I haven't played this game myself but from what I vaguely remember if the little speech bubble thingie still appears after you've already clicked on it, it means Mae still has things to say! It will disappear when she has nothing to say anymore. This is important because you're otherwise missing on a lot of interesting dialogue with the characters :)

Absolutely adore this game. Some of the themes definitely would have hit HARD post-college, and my high school bestie (who also played) and I talked about how similar our friend group was to this one. Please check out OMORI sometime! That one has to be my all-time favorite. I feel like its combo of the cute, the nostalgic, and the horrific would be your vibe. It covers every possible emotion and is a game that gets both really dark while managing to be extremely life-affirming too.
