- Rustic soup recipe
In a big pot or dutch oven, sauté about 1/4 cup of chopped shallots and about 2 tbsps of minced garlic until fragrant (this is really gonna ramp up the flavor later)
Add in about 10-12 oz of roughly chopped chicken sausage until brown and about half a bag of chopped kale, stems included for more flavor (that's about 5 or 6 oz), stir and blend.
*Go ahead and season everything at this point: onion powder, salt, pepper, dried basil, Italian seasoning, etc.
Add 6 cups of water and 3 chicken bouillon cubes (OR 6 oz of a flavored stock; veggie, beef or chicken will work) and cover your soup.
When the stock starts to simmer, make sure you stir and add in 1 cup of coarsely chopped mushrooms and cover again and let simmer until the shrooms are tender.
Next add in 1/2 cup to 1 whole cup of heavy cream and stir thoroughly. It's gonna make it taste rich and creamy but it's not gonna thicken the soup much. You will need to add in some flour or cornstarch if you want it thick. Once that comes to a simmer turn the fire off and let cool down.
This will make about 6 moderately portioned servings across about 2 days of easy eating. Enjoy!

Autism Mom here ✋🏿...wanted to share something I just learned from my Son's Doctor. I remember a few vlogs ago Anne was sick and wouldn't take any meds. My son had a fever on & off for about 2 wks, he won't take meds and can tell when I alter his drinks. They have suppositories for kids to reduce fever🤯 It's been a game changer & finally broke my child's fever. Also, I got an xray & learned he was constipated. Even though he has bowl movement daily, he is still backed up due to his limited diet. So just another nugget to consider. Thank you for your platform! ❤
I don't have any kids myself but I've been subscribed for years, I cannot lie watching Anne's grow and say words makes my eyes water. Its a blessing and its beautiful seeing her blossom. Thank God!!

Oh no not the tent ! Can’t you measure the rods and have new ones cut at Lowe’s or Home Depot and repair it. They should have those heavy duty plastic pipes in that diameter ijs. As a teacher I tell parents this all the time when they so no one is watching my child. A parent can see everything so imagine a classroom full of students. What I loved most is how Anthony and you talked about it and figured out changes you could make with doing the blame game. I have been a subscriber a little over 2 years now. I tuned in to your channel out of curiosity and also was a previous educator for special needs children. I became a first time G-Ma 2 years ago. My Son and his Wife are doing a great job of parenting my grandson who is on the spectrum. I wanted to show my support by tutoring and caretaking of my grandson during the day. It takes a lot of patience, temperment and Love to try to meet his needs. I'm so grateful and blessed to have found your channel even before he was born.
I Love him so much and watching him reach milestones brings me joy.

Ava is getting so big and busy and using her voice. She looks just like Anthony. I still cook my bacon in the oven because I have to cook so much of it at one time and my air fryer is too small. the flower is giving peony or magnolia. You are so inspiring me to finally clean out my closet too.

Vaughn if you can’t find the replacement parts see if you “MacGyver” Ann’s tent by using some flexible rod from Menards and maybe cover it with some insulated wrap foam pipe covering or PVC pipe isn’t hard to cut as long you can make it safe.. That tent is too cute to throw away. Take the broke bent piece to Menards. They will have a solution.

Great advice for dealing with that situation with Anne! Just a recommendation for quick clean up in the Tineco mop/vacuum it works wondering for cleaning up big spills and you can even use it on area rugs!

Hey Vaughn & family, my daughter has those same glasses with the glass straws. I just love seeing Anne’s progress & love to hear her voice it’s so sweet. I have a brother that’s severely mentally disabled. He’s able to get around, but his mind is as a child & he makes a mess sometimes, but as someone told me years ago this is his world & we just in it. 😊 so I as well & siblings clean up 🧹 behind him & make some adjustments where we put things as well. So sweet to see Ava growing up. I love babies. She has the sweetest smile 😊 you guys continue working together ❤

I get you. Our son is autistic and has a phase where he liked to smear his you know what, because he is not yet potty trained, and IT WAS HARD!! But he’s also prone to doing stuff like that to all kinds of stuff, pasta, play doh, and anything else. We still get surprised sometimes and he’s 9, but God has done a working on me baby for sure. Because I used to go to 10. But realized he doesn’t respond well to that at all. His reaction is based on our reaction. They really are smarter than we think sometimes. ❤
