Teenage Volunteer Firefighters Put Graduation On Hold To Handle Emergency
As a volunteer myself, I am proud of these kids and honored to call them brothers and sisters. Strong work all, and stay safe!
This country needs more teenagers like them. They did a great job, volunteer fire departments need all the help they can get today.
A story like this helps restore my faith in humanity
They all are heros keep up the good work
That's awesome this country is in dire need younger firefighters
Splendid young people!
Amazing! This video needs to go viral!!
I am also a fire volunteer here in the philippines, if ever there is a call or an alarm i would just drop everything and ran towards any emergencies but.. sadly our community dosen't appriciate us and called us "JUST" a Volunteer but ever me and my friends recieve alot of negative praise from people we still responde to any emergencies and you know... Protect our community from any life threating Emergencies😊
Congratulations god bless them all
Unpaid professionals! Good work🙌👏💪
I told everyone even if im at a important job or interview I still would run out for the community when it needs saving
And that's exactly what they are for. THERE IS NO, NO THAT IS NOT VALID FOR A FIREFIGHTER. EITHER BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER GRADUATION. THAT'S WHAT THEY TRAIN FOR.
Salute friends salute 22 years volantary fireman luderitz namibia
can you make some videos about voluntary fire service in Namibia? that would be great, such a death of information.
it would be cool to see your department, trucks, gear, training and maybe some operations.!
Love you Trump
Give us Epstein’s client list!
Good job whackers, can’t go inside anyways
Shout out to Donald Trump, who wanted to be the first Dictator of our country on January 6th!
TDS all you care about is Jan 6 but you couldn't care less about the actual terrorist that burned down cities in the name of justice for a pos guy who ODed on fentanyl
I'm sorry but, this is not a feel-good piece. Multiple children had a major event in their lives ruined because the government (who apparently doesn't care about unpaid children doing hazardous labor) doesn't fund the FD enough.
You quite obviously have no idea what the term VOLUNTEER Firefighter means. It means you are willing to go into harms way for little or no money in order to help other people in their time of need. I'm lucky enough to be part of a paid-on-call volunteer department, but not all towns have the tax base to support that. I'd rather have good gear, training, and equipment than get paid. Thankfully I'm able to have both.
Do you not know how a volunteer department works? When you sign, you willing to put your life at risk to help others when they have their worst day of their life. So far for me it’s the best to give back to my community whenever someone needs help
You are aware most of the world is protected by volunteer firefighters.
Well if your house was on fire and it was this same situation, you’d rather have them stay at graduation and your house burn down? I think you had a brain malfunction🤣
70% of depts in the US are volunteer. Its about a sense of service to your fellow man and community. They could have chosen to not respond and the other adult members of the dept wouldnt blame them, but they WANT to be there, helping. I got my start way back in the 90's as an explorer and ended up a paid fire capt 12 years later. Some towns dont have the tax base to support a paid dept and some depts choose to stay volunteer out of a tradition of service. But the vast majority of firefighters in the US are volunteers, so to say this is exploitation is a bad take.
No time to think just do it
