- Welcome back to our channel. Life with the bridges.
We are the bridge family trying to get the most out of this rat race we all call life.
In September 2021 we found out our dreams had come true. We were expecting a new addition ….to the Bridge family.
We spent the next 9 months, like any normal parents would, preparing our life for the arrival of our little boy.
On the 11th of may 2022, at 11:11pm we were bless with the birth of our son. HE WAS PERFECT. We instantly felt love like we had never experienced and our family of 4 we always dreamed of. Was finally complete.
We had the most magical first 8 months with Teddy experiencing all that life had to offer. UNTIL on the 24 of feb 2023 he got diagnosed with high risk AML Leukaemia.
We spent 6 months (184 days to be exact) at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He endured 2 rounds of chemotherapy and a full bone marrow transplant in hope that it would save our son's life.
We documented every part of his journey on this channel to raise awareness and give childhood cancer the exposure it deserves.
After riding the hellish and unpredictable storm Teddy made it to the end of his treatment and RANG. THAT BELL!
You are joining us now in our next chapter of this journey at home at bridge HQ, as we try to rebuild our life and continue to spread awareness about what it’s like to have a child post cancer and transplant in hope that this second chance at life we have been given. IS FOREVER.

Our perspective and what we want from life when spending 6 months in hospital fighting for your child’s life, let’s just say has changed a little.
All though myself and Katie have been lucky enough to travel the world far and wide in the past and now are slightly restricted for now due to Teddys recovery. This doesn’t mean to can’t dream, explore and go on adventures from our doorstep to show our son what life has to offer.
TIME is something that none of us have control over and let me tell you. It isn’t on our side. I don’t have time. We don’t have time and you don’t have time. Yes I said it. YOU. DON'T. HAVE. TIME.
So if there is one message we would like to spread to all of our community here on our channel. It’s live for today as tomorrow is never promised.
We are going to breathe deep, dream big, travel wide step out our comfort zone and go and grab life with both hands and make the most out of what ever time we have left on this earth. AND WE are taking you along with us. So buckle up as LIFE. WERE COMING FOR YOU.

My goodness! What a beautiful campground. So very different than a campground in the United States. I think it’s fantastic. I’ve been chronically ill my entire life. (I’m going to be 65 next month). One thing that I’ve learned is that it’s so important to live your best life. Getting out, experiencing new things and people is so uplifting. Enjoy your fabulous get away! Have a truly blessed experience!

I'm guessing a trolley is a cart. I know the boot is the trunk. I love it. We don't have Testco here but it must be popular in the UK. I've always wanted to visit but Americans don't get alot of vacation time but one day I would love to see the Uk. Love your channel.

Diane here in Melbourne guys, enjoying your luxury break! We’ve had storms here too, took out the whole power station for a lot of Victoria, no power for over 24 hours and still some folk without power. Crazy weather in this world right now. Seeing you spending happy family time is a joy to watch,

Scott you are so funny about the camping experience. Tip- 2 way radios are great when Kate is guiding you back. The black and gray Class A is about the size of ours, but ours isn't that new, I don't like that one it looks like it belongs on the moon. It doesn't matter what you have Scott it's all about the experience, spending time with your beautiful wife and that sweet little Teddy and making forever memories. Wow Scott your Caravan is bigger inside than I thought, I really like all the beds. Willow is awesome. Yes Teddy you are a AMAZING! I hope you continue to make great camping memories.

I still don't understand how it's possible to love a family I've never met especially super Ted he is absolutely such a beautiful light and blessing to this world and warrior is an understatement for what teddy is. U guys are so amazing love u guys sending love and prayers that teddy stays cancer free and completely healthy for the rest of his long life and that u guys have the strength and peace moving forward in ur journey in Jesus magnificent and mighty name amen.

Sorry so many responses. There is a book in your story. One to help families and caregivers on this journey to understand the human experience. You have so many learnings to share and so much valuable lived experience. We as clinicians can do better at communicating, under the psychological burden and also the challenges we don’t see. Families would feel validation, learn, feel connected and get help from a family who have a lived experience. How to do this ? Who would help, edit, host the product and share ? Xxxx
