As someone who loved "old Blizzard" and the heart and soul they used to pour into their worlds, these are exactly the types of videos I turn to in order to rediscover my nostalgia.
I will never forget when I first entered Westfall, my dad and I were grinding and leveling in Elwynn for a while and were both super excited to finally cross the bridge into Westfall. We were heartwarmed by the "Poor Old Blanchy" quest, excited at the prospect of The Deadmines as a dungeon, and even met a good friend while questing here who gave my dad his first shoulder pads (despite being grey, he was excited to have them all the same. Every piece of Armor counted back then!). Excellent video and I look forward to the next!
I’ve been waiting years for someone to make videos like these. I know the AI helps but I can still tell the effort you put in I love this!, but props for making the exact content I’ve always been looking for.
@@TheChroniclesofAzeroth Time well-spent. 2nd one I've watched (Barrens was the first) and they're excellent! As an avid Alliance member, I look forward to these!
I just discovered your channel. I must say that this is a very lovely video, thank you, I really enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to your other content! :)
Ah, that journey from Elwynn Forest to Westfall is truly a memorable one. It's those first steps into new lands that stick with us. Do you have a particular memory from Westfall that stands out?
My first pvp experience happened at Sentinel Hill. I was a new mage trying to find help to deal with the mechanical scarecrows. Then the Horde attacked! The few low levels tried to hold the tower, but the Horde was too strong. Then, as our spirits found our bodies, we were greeted by Stormwinds finest heroes! We banded together and fought back the Horde that day. I always think back on that battle as a a turning point in my gaming adventures. It was such a fun experience and made the world feel alive. This video brought back those memories. Thank you!
My favorite zone of all time, I remember leveling here on my mage in TBC. Played all night, watched the sun come up outside my window while the sun came up in game. Thanks for doing these, they are amazing!
God damn do I love this series. Whenever I don’t want to play WoW, you put out a new video and it just makes me have to play. Thank you for these videos!
This is one I've really been waiting for. Westfall was such a huge part of levelling as Alliance. So many memories and to hear the story by the Loremaster. Huzzah!!!
So having done the main starting zones of the main races, now you seem to do the secondary zones which is amazing. I can't wait to see what comes after.
Can't wait to watch this one later today! Westfall is probably my favorite zone in all of Azeroth. So much nostalgia...so many memories. Thank you for all that you do, Chronicles of Azeroth!!
Be sure to take a moment of your day to unwind and take in all the Lore of this zone that has a special place in our hearts. Thank you for making it possible!
I must admit, my expectations for this one were particularly high...and you undoubtedly exceeded them all! Your ability to fully immerse your audience within the world of Azeroth is truly astounding. I felt as though I had been transported back in time to the mid-2000s, adventuring through the lands of Westfall with my real-life friends from elementary and middle school back in the day. In particular, at 6:55...crossing that famous bridge once again...evoked indescribable nostalgia for me. Yet, as if this video was not perfect and emotional enough already, I nearly spat out my drink at 28:11 upon seeing my own name displayed on the screen. So far as I am concerned, this is your masterpiece thus far. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your continued contributions to the World of Warcraft, Loremaster!
Once more, I thank you for your incredibly kind words! I'm delighted that I could exceed your expectations and bring back those nostalgic memories of Azeroth. I'm honored to be a part of your journey through the World of Warcraft. Looking forward to creating more adventures together in the future!
Once again you've given us another wonderful addition to this series. I cant put my finger on it, but something about this one has felt even more natural and authentic - very well done. I want to commend you for always being receptive to feedback, and constantly striving to improve.
Thank you so much! I'm so thrilled that the feedback is universally positive! In this entry of Lore, I focussed on creating more room for natural pauses between sentences. This gives the viewer a moment to take in all the information that has just been presented.
Please keep producing these videos! I think they do an excellent job explaining the lore and are captivating at the same time. I do not feel lost watching them.
The first time I went through Westfall back in Vanilla, I knew that my character had come from there for roleplay reasons. I loved it so much, the Defias storyline the most. While I don't like the Cataclysm Westfall as much, it's still held up as my favorite human lore zone, with Duskwood a close second. Thanks, this was great!
I never forget the feeling when I first stepped into Westfall from Forest (maybe when 12? or 14? not sure). That feeling is like, this world is infinite and diverse, how could I stop exploring it?
I grew up in southern Minnesota bordering Iowa in the 90s. In the fall it looks exactly like Westfall so I’ve had a soft spot for this zone now that I moved for work in NYC! Another amazing video. Thanks for the upload!! Ps you should get a donation link started so we can all assist in the development of more of these.
Finally! A series of videos narrated by a voice that is actually pleasant to listen to! Have a sub, plenty more please! Also, thank you so much for making these ultrawide videos! 🙌
I started a mage on the new hardcore servers and I spent just over one level grinding Defias by Mirror Lake in Elwynn Forest just for cloth to make bags. So… when I finally got to Westfall I was a tad over leveled… and the zone is still tough! I love it!
Finally some time to check this one out, really enjoying the series so far. I remember entering Westfall for the first time on the game and not liking how desolate it was compared to Elwynn, but then enjoying the questlines a lot
Ahhhh Westfall... Before the Wall and refugees, before we found out Old Blanchy when to Sinfall to atone for it's horrifying acts, back when the deadliest NPC with a body count that rivalled Ragnaros was the Defias Mage. I'm here for it
Truely one of my favourite zones in the game. Super cozy and yet awful if you were to actually live there. Thats my favourite thing about starting allience. The first few zones and the ones that surround Elwynn are perfectly designed starting areas aethesthically. Like truely feels like the start to an adventure. Its a shame Horde side doesnt really get that same feeling. For me at least.
Westfall has, similar to Redrige Mountains and Duskwood, a lot of hardship and struggles to uncover which makes the journey from the peaceful Elwynn Forest even more memorable and significant!
Aww, missed opportunity for the narrator to use grandiose wordage to describe how you have to cluck like a chicken endlessly to earn the chicken pet, ha ha. I love the detail these get into with meanial questlines.
I long for the secrets of the Barrens.... Since we don't just get 1 labyrinth but 3! And the first real agent of the Scourge. I think it is the first real lich we meet....
