Stunningly good, as always. Think about this: this is an after school "club." They practice about 1.5 hours before school, and about 3 hours after school. On weekends, they practice on average about 8 hours per day. Do they do it for the money? No. They are not paid a single yen for their performances. They do it because they WANT to. Most of the kids are lured in to the school after they witnessed the band do their signature Sing, Sing, Sing dance routine. "Mom, I want to do that!" They do it for the fun of it, and they are all amateurs who make no money for their efforts. They get three years to learn and hone their skills, then they graduate and are gone, and the next classes step into their shoes. Anyone who first sees one of their performances is immediately blown away by it, as we all know. They are peerless and simply amazing!
And not to be forgotten, all the music is memorized including the choreography that corresponds to the music which is a whole repertoire of songs played in progression. Add to this, they have separate music for parades, competition, stage concerts and other special performances. These kids are AMAZING!!!!! Those uniforms should be worn with immense pride because this Band is one of a kind in the world of Bands. It’s a shame that they are not more widely recognized outside of Japan. But I hope the word spreads because they deserve to be known worldwide for their uniqueness, musicianship, level of the execution and entertainment value. Without a doubt, the most entertaining Band in the World!

This is so amazing!!! Gangnam Style, Lion King, Prince Ali, Once Upon a December, Pirates of Caribbean, Toy Story what a fine medley! Also, amazing choreography!!!! This hits most of my nostalgia points haha. I'm so grateful to be able to watch and hear this, thanks all performers and leaders!!
So far, I think this is the best shopping Mall Arcade parade video I have seen by Tachibana SHS Brass Band Club which is without a doubt Japan's finest symbol of happiness generators. Of course all generations of Tachibana Bands must be world famous by now due to the UA-cam releases. It was interesting to see that the three Zaurus girl fans who must be the most loyal supporters were clearly seen. Even they must be world famous too. Thank you yet again Kyoto Junior and Senior High Schools and University. I wish you all well.

Thank you so much for the videos, I love watching these amazing young ladies and men perform, they all are truly exceptional. All their hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated. All the directors, support staff, and parents are also appreciated for the time they put in as well. I love the new drums too, the color compliments the uniforms so well. Having watched so many videos, it feels as though I've watched these kids grow up, although it's sad to see when the bright, smiling faces you've come to know and love, go away, it's nice to see the new ones come in and fill the very large shoes left behind and continue the exceptional program by all those that came before them. I can't wait to see the next video of them performing.
I was not interested in orchestration marchingband until I saw the performance of Kyoto Tachibna. Did you know that their uniforms have not changed since the 1970s? Although they are old schools, they are giving joy to many people.
I am a filipino but i am very proud and admired alot of this orcchestra band. In fact, this is the super duper talented orchestra band in the world i've ever seen. Keep it up guys!
Darn near cried with so many childhood memories flooding in with each piece. From Aladdin, to Mary Poppins to Toy Story. Recognized each section and it brought me to tears.

I love brassさんの動画を見ていたら、慶次郎さん、St.taketoさんが映っていたのでUPはいつかなと心待ちにしておりまして。お二方の動画漸くUPされて安心しました。それぞれ、撮影の仕方を工夫されているのでいつも比較しながら見るのを楽しみにしております。こちら、東京の田舎に住んでおり、なかなか生で観る事は出来ないので、今回も慶次郎さんには綺麗な映像とフレームに感謝しております。それにしても、橘は代替わりしても相変わらず観客を楽しませてくれるので感謝です。クラウドファンディングでも立ち上げて、皆んなで僅かずつでも寄付をして楽器の購入や遠征費に当てたいものです。彼らの笑顔の陰にある努力に少しでも報いたいですね。
One of their finest performance, great footwork and harmony. Starting from the right banner holder of the 50th Anniversary, she is pretty and has a beautiful smile, an example of the caliber of these girls in this band. Always providing an enjoyable experience to all viewers. Kudos to the two snare drummers and to the entire percussion section led by Penguin Chan!
The Japanese people are proud of this great Band and rightfully so, there's always a crowd on both sides of the street. I see many Americans standing among them ~ USA

Mr. K I agree, she set an example to every single one of us. Tachibana definitely gains recognition internationally, I hope their nationals marching competition do them good in near futures too. Yea i hope the new director wouldn't, Tanaka sensei left Tachibana as a legacy :')

The Japanese Government has since issued a directive limiting the max. number of hours a student can spend on extracurricular activities so things cannot be the same anyway! Tanaka-san in his book claims he "nurtured KT girls & boys without teaching them" so forget about that lazy director.
It's one thing to play while marching, it's another to play while marching AND dancing. Other Japanese school bands are trying to catch up to the KT band, but so far no one has mastered it like Tachibana.

こんな狭い通りですから、その人たちは、橘のパレードを、ぶつかりそうなほど近くで見ることができました。
橘は、日本国内でさえ、マーチング好きな一部の人たちにしか知られていないと、私は思います。
でも、一度でもそのパレードを見た人は、決まって橘の虜になってしまうのです。
ここにいた観光客たちは、彼らが旅先で偶然出会った橘のパレードの話をすることでしょう。
そして、その人たちは、スマホで撮った動画をその人たちの家族や友人達に見せることでしょう。
その動画を見た人たちの中には、橘のパレード目当てで、京都に行ってみたいと思う人もいるでしょう。
ひょっとしたら、世界中から橘高校入学希望者が押し寄せる、なんてことだってあるかもしれません。
橘高校吹奏楽部のパレードの動画を見ていると、なぜが元気を貰えます。コロナ禍で2020年以降のパレードが見られないのが残念です。元気いっぱい、笑顔いっぱい、夢いっぱい！ こんな時世なんで毎週見て、元気を頂いています。素晴らしいバンドです。
2018年の動画なので、外国の観光客も多く見られます。
日本の京都には、こんな素晴らしい吹奏楽部があります。世界一の吹奏楽部ですと言いたいです。
京都橘のパレードはパレード自体楽しいし、観客の楽しそうな笑顔も見ていて楽しい。

昨日（2022.3.29）58回定期演奏会の翌日、この通りを夫婦でパレードしてきました（ただの散歩ですが）
聖地巡礼のつもりです。
ありふれた「通り」なのですが、とても感慨深いものとなりました。
この動画何回も見にきてしまう。他校のパレードも見るけど中毒性があるのは橘。
先頭のバナーさんの素敵な笑顔。
キレがあって笑顔のカラーガード。
最後尾まで全員笑顔で楽しんでやってますよね。
過去のDMホラッチャ先輩が練習中に
『全然楽しそうじゃないでぇ、もっと楽しんでやって！』「ハイ！」
って言うシーンや、横山コーチの口癖「演奏しながら心から楽しめ、賞なんて後から付いて来る！」って言う指導が継承されてるんでしょうね。
ステップや所作の細かい部分まで高いシンクロ率にやらされてる感が無いので見てる人達を感動させるんでしょうね。
近年全国各地のパレードでもダンスやステップを取り入れてる団体が増えましたが、橘にはこの分野では遠く及ばないって感じます。
顧問の先生が変わっても、この脳からドーパミンが出る橘スタイルだけは今まで通り生徒達がダンスやステップを作るのを継承させてあげて欲しいですね。
嫁には「オタクみたい、暇さえあれば見ててキモい」とかまで言われますが私のささやかな趣味が死ぬまで継承されて欲しいと願ってますし、撮影してアップし続けてくれる前田さんの大変な労力とお金、健康も気になります（笑）感謝してます。
演奏が終わった後に観客からの鳴り止まない拍手の中を部員さんたちが歩いてるシーンも凄くいいですね。かっこいいです！
114期生が卒業してロスに入っていたのですが頼もしい後輩のレベルの高いパフォーマンスに驚かされたものでした今でわこのパレードが大好きです。
橘のパレードは俺も世界一だと思うよ‼だって元気がでるからな🎵久しぶりに見たけど飽きないわー‼むしろどんどんハマっていく！
演奏もすごいですが、撮影技術もすごいですね。
演奏者、聴衆の方の表情もよく分かって何度でも見たくなります。

I still miss 114th especially Tippi and Kumare, the main 4-5 percussionists for the last 2 years ;) Still, I hope with their new director, KT wouldn't have radical change. I love Tachibana's spirit and culture! All the way from シンガポール！
Mr. K I agree, she set an example to every single one of us. Tachibana definitely gains recognition internationally, I hope their nationals marching competition do them good in near futures too. Yea i hope the new director wouldn't, Tanaka sensei left Tachibana as a legacy :')

The Japanese Government has since issued a directive limiting the max. number of hours a student can spend on extracurricular activities so things cannot be the same anyway! Tanaka-san in his book claims he "nurtured KT girls & boys without teaching them" so forget about that lazy director.
Oh what an exhilarating experience it must be to watch this performance in person. One of the finest and cleanest performance, fantastic musicians!

『京都市南部、桃山御陵の小高い丘の上に、私たちの京都橘高等学校があります。学校創立117年、男女共学になって19年になります。吹奏楽部は1961年創設。バンドの歴史と同じだけのマーチングの歴史があり、お馴染みになったオレンジのユニフォームも1970年代から40年以上変わっていません。「元気いっぱい、笑顔いっぱい、夢いっぱい」が私たちの合言葉です。

吹奏楽部の歴史は、57年ということになりますね。やはり只者ではなっかたということですね。
伝統あるオレンジのユニフォームは、引き継ぎつつ、時代に合わせ、演奏やパフォーマンスが進化しているのですね。
そして、学校関係者の思いが、現在のこの「橘マーチングバンド」に表れているのですね。
学校関係者のプロデュース力(様々な会場での演奏や遠征手配、企画実現能力の高さ、資金調達力）にも驚かせられます。
これほど、1年間に演奏での実戦をこなしているところは、ないのではないでしょうか。
おっしゃる通り、様々な今までの映像から、このバンドチームには、「気品」を感じます。
子供から、同世代、大人、そしてシニア世代までも「ファン」にしてしまう何かを持っていますね。(国内・海外を問わずに）
それは、秘めた努力から生まれるパフォーマンスで表現しているのだと思います。

It's one thing to play while marching, it's another to play while marching AND dancing. Other Japanese school bands are trying to catch up to the KT band, but so far no one has mastered it like Tachibana.

何度と無く同じ動画見させていただいてますが、ちっとも飽きること無く引き込まれます。橘マジックですかね？彼女達の一生懸命観客に、サービスする姿頭下がります。
毎回有り難うございます。色んな方のを見させて頂いておりますが、私が好きな振りのシーンに於いては慶次郎前田さんの動画が一番良いポジションで撮影されていました。撮影する方も大変でしょうが橘の皆さんも狭い所で毎回大変だなと思います。そしてマーチングバンドに於いてはやはり一緒についていかないとなかなか全ての醍醐味を味わえないのでこれ以上にない動画であります。近年は海外の方も多いですね。勿論橘目的での来日ではないかも知れませんが。
いつ見ても凛々しい！

プリンスアリの強烈な振付はさくらパレードでも印象的でしたが、スネア隊がロールしながらステップを踏む姿に戦慄しました！
いつも素敵な映像ありがとうございます。2018のブラスエキスポは天候の関係から中止だったので、1年生部員(117期 現3年生)にとっては大きな参加イベントとしてはこのパレードが3000人の吹奏楽以来のものだったのでしょうかね？ 現在、117期をはじめとする現役生にはコロナ禍に直面してイベント中止が続く中、大変でしょうが乗り越えて欲しいですね。今さらながら、その基礎となる厳しい練習と努力の存在はむろんですが、本当に素晴らしい演奏力とパフォーマンスの能力(周囲を明るくする笑顔も含めて)を持った子供たちだと思います。今のような状況だからこそ、尚更、何とか活躍の場ができないかと願うばかりです。

本日、2023年4月25日、真冬に逆戻りしたかのような寒さにおまけに雨で一日陰鬱な気分でいましたが、夕飯を済ましてパソコンを開くと、まるで神様の贈り物のように、この動画がおすすめに出現していて、いっぺんに気分が晴れました。撮影は「鉄板」の前田氏で臨場感と迫力、そして安定感もあり、あらためて感服しました。ありがとうございます。
