As a Filipino learning, this Spanish alphabet is easy for me. All the pronunciation we pronounced too. Hoping that our government will bring back the Spanish lesson for us gen z. Btw thank u for teaching it helps a lot.

There are schools actually with Spanish lessons. I went to a private school in high school and we had Spanish electives, but I didn't choose to enroll bc my grandmother used to teach me. Though, there are public high schools with these classes too!
I hope the Spanish language will be taught in school in the Philippines again because its the third largest language by number of peoples speaking it in the world.

You are one of the few who speak perfect English and Spanish. Many English native Spanish teachers can't hold the air back when they pronounce letters like T, P, C(k). So it's really great to have you as a teacher!

Been using your lessons on AIB to keep my Spanish alive. I lived in Menorca a lifetime ago and learnt Spanish whilst living there, Have managed to remember what I learnt but if you don't use it you lose it so they say. I watch Spanish movies and read Spanish books and magazines but like to have a daily hit to keep me on my toes. Was reading the comments on the other channel and found that you have this channel. Dr. Evans, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am a native speaker teaching HS Spanish for the first time! I have always tested out of Spanish classes and never learned it in a classroom setting. So, teaching it has been challenging. I have had to learn right along with the students and you have made that so much easier to do. I found your videos some time in October, I wish I had found you in August so that I could have watched your videos from the beginning and had an idea what I was teaching (LOL!). I am moving on to Spanish 2 starting in January and I will be watching your videos and sharing them with my students as added support. Your teaching method is simple and easy to understand...thank you! Do you teach out of a curriculum, or follow a curriculum in your classroom? Our school district uses Auténtico and it seems like your videos follow right along where we are. Again, THANK YOU for these videos!

There's a huge advantage in learning spanish with native finnish, as we also spell most of the letters same way, the r is also the same. This helps to understand the individual letters but words as well. Thank you for the very clear video!

Recently discovered your channel. Amazing content. Being an Indian, all these pronunciations feels right home and becomes so easy. Be it Hindi, the official language of India or Bengali, my native, we articulate in the exact same fashion. Thus picking up Español is easier than I figured. Again, great job. Love from India.

Great video! I would argue that there is one dialect of Spanish that has a sound very similar to our English and that would be Costa Rican Spanish, which can has an [r] that some speakers pronounce as a retroflex approximant or a voiced alveolar approximant.
There is a slight difference between the flap of English and the tap of Spanish, but it is doesn't really matter for our purposes.
I'm Spanish I just wanted to see how good he is. Great teaching.

Wow u actually taught me how to roll my r's. All by that simple lesson of saying 'butter'. It got my mind to know excactly where to place my tongue. Your sir are a legend.
I'm a Filipina and I honestly can tell I easily learn Spanish even just by hearing it few times. Our Filipino words were mostly Spanish words but different spelling. There's a huge advantage of us learning the language as we were colonized by Spaniards for 300 years and we adapted their culture so as the language.
Thank you so much for this video sir, I'm a native Arabic speaker and I have been learning Spanish as a third language and the first thing I did is learn words and how they are pronounced and I even learned how to form basic sentences but never thought about learning alphabets first 😂 I thought that the alphabets are almost like the English alphabets so I didn't bother to know their names 😅

Thanks for the videos. What would be great is a video going over all possible conjugations of a verb and then prioritising the most used in detail (e.g. those used 95% of the time). Also a video showing patterns within the irregular verbs. Might be a few videos!

As a hispanic who doesn’t speak Spanish yet I have been trying to learn since I was 9 since my grandmother wont teach me for some reason lol this is really helping though! Those r’s are tricky
This is the first video that I am watching. I am from Turkey. My mother tonque is Kurdish and Turkish is second lenguage. Now I have to learn Spanish for some reasons as 4th language. I believe I am lucky in terms of sounds that exist in Kurdish such as T or W. Most of them are exist in Turkish phonetic alphabet too. As for grammar, Spanish is not %100 but similar to English. So now I have many important advantages at the beginning of my jurney even if I am almost zero in Spanish. . I hope I'll be here to 2 months later to write "I've learned many things", and some more in Spanish.
