Can’t resist throwing out an extra comment today.. this was nice to combine with the new video released this morning. It’s actually good to see snippets of different things in a variety of episodes featuring the same cities and locations. Leaves room for a reason to return and create new content as well as giving room to the information, history etc. instead of cramming it all into one episode, not to mention breathing room for your own enjoyment. Places are always changing too, so that keeps things gratifying. Glad you got to see the Budweiser facility, my husband works for AB and toured it on a business trip a few years ago. He did not return with any sort of pictures so it was great to see it here. Love to experience both the progression and contrasts in style and camera work between then and now. Different, but always good.. never disappointed. Thanks for sharing.🙂
Thank you so much, Robert, for all the work you put into making videos of your travels to share with everyone. They are so interesting. And I love your sense of humor, and, of course, your music. I'm really looking forward to the next video because you're getting into my territory. Thanks again!!
I recently discoveredTraveling Robert and his fabulous videos and music. Like him putting a sticker on each state he visits, I am going to post this comment on all the videos I watch! You da man, Robert!!
More memories of our transcontinental trip in 2019. St Louis Missouri was one of our stops. We made a beeline for the Gateway Arch. Never seen anything like it, and those little elevators that take you to the top are an engineering marvel! When we were there there were still signs of the flooding that happened a few months before so there were no Mississippi boat tours available, but we managed to get one on our next stop in Memphis. All the construction in this video was competed and was just beautiful to see. We tried the local delicacy of fried ravioli and dip. Never knew you could do that with ravioli, and it was delicious. There was also a MAJOR game going on at the stadium so it was busy but the town had a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely go again.
Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎷🎷🍕🍕🍕🍔🍔🍗🍗🍦🍦🍦, This was an amazing experience in St. Louis. I really enjoyed a cool place that I remember so will...Malcom Park, oh yeah I remember that when the Gateway was just an National Monument, and the high water...Awesome! St Louis is an great city with great BBQ! Robert, this was a truly amazing place. OUTSTANDING VIDEO👍👍👍👍👍!
Couple of chuckles in this video, Robert....loved the look on your face, eating lunch, looking like you couldn't swallow another bite....Been there. The undignified bow on the Clydesdale...lol. Another great video.
BILL BILL His voice reminds me of radio host Fernando of the GTA game series. If you search UA-cam they have videos where you can hear what I mean. just search what I put up there.
And people from Memphis, TX, NC and even GA will tell you the same thing about their BBQ. And most of them will be as obnoxious about it as you were. I've had them all and have yet to find one that wasn't good.
Hi Robert, another awsome travelvideo. Hope you have let your wife drive after the 3 beer...lol. Ok, the in my homecountry germany the beer has a litle bit more alcohl but not so much more.. When i make a wine or beertest, my wife has to drive or we plan that we can easy go back by taxi. All in all an very interesting and awsome video from you again, that makes this area of US really interesting for a visit. Thanks for sharing it with us.
@Call me Caitlyn & Faith Rada your comments amuse me -- where are you from? I go downtown in St. Louis all the time. My cousin lives there. St. Louis gets a bad rap but people always like something to look down on.
@Call me Caitlyn I don't doubt you -- where do you live -- really -- downtown? Tell me what you know if you have the time. I must say that my family lives in the city and nobody has been raped or robbed or bloodied. that doesn't mean it never happens to somebody but I want to know your facts.
Great Tour Robert, I've notice our roads are starting to turn a red hue as well with the new asphalt "interesting." BTW I am elated that you are supporting the RV Museum by wearing the T-shirt in this segment. ~ Fair Winds and Safe Journeys!
We're heading to St Louis in September. We're really looking forward to the ride to the top of the arch so thanks for sharing your experiences. Hopefully much of the construction work you experienced will have been completed by the time our visit comes around!
Michael Young I'm going to that free zoo! Have you seen Shriners hospital for children? I've been going to St. Louis since I was 3 and all I've done is sit in the hospital getting x rays and sleeping. I love my hotel and it's restaurant Cyberg's and it's indoor pool and Tyler my best friend I've known since I was 4. I want to meet you someday. You sound very wise. Reply whenever you want.
Fantastic video, Robert. Your sense of humor, shot selection and editing are top notch. I really enjoyed your video and plan on watching more but now on to your Memphis, TN adventure...
I'm from the Stl area on the Illinois side. I've never not seen Lambert's busy, but we've always gone on a weekend (generally a 45 minute wait if your lucky).
Your answer about the red bricks, The St. Lousi area more so in the Missouri River area use to be the larges producer of bricks in the country. Missouri has a lot of clay and limestone thus makes it an ideal place to make bricks.
why yes. that is a large barge being pushed on the mighty mississippi. never knew you could go up in the S L Arch, and look out windows at the top. amazing. like the giant ketchup bottle water tower. you never see that stuff until you travel. like Robert. I live a mere 9 hour drive from S L. will have to go there one day.
Though your camera was being a little stubborn you still pulled it off. Great shots! The sunset was a great scene. Good video once again! Pbs and travel channel's here comes Robert !
You totally missed Forest Park/St. Louis Zoo, but that could take up a full day or more to visit. What cool about those attractions is that they are all free.
WOOHOO Hard Liquor. Cuz that's how you roll. LOL Very beautiful site at Tom Sawyer. Unfortunately, our camper is in the shop and cant get out. Awaiting the return of our RV so we can go riding with our RV. Very catchy tune.
I hate heights LOL so I will skip the taco salad next time things is high and the camera is kinda jumpy. I'm just stealing ur chill every day Mr. Robert. I'm not kidding your cool laid backness is catching! I only drink Bud...maybe I oughta go there. I went to Seattle but I had already been to Atlanta so the traffic didn't seem to be a big deal. I've prayed success and safety for you and ur sweet lady. These vids have helped with the being home stuck. lol :)

I don't know much about 5th wheels only that they are very residential looking and feeling, and it will probably take longer to them up at the campsite. You also have to be more aware of your height and length when traveling. Those who have them swear by them so they must be good. Grand Design comes to mind as a high quality brand.
Thanks as always for taking the time to respond !! You seem very content with your MIcro Minnie since you've had it so many years. Winnebago ought to give you a new one every few years for the great exposure you provide !! (ha ha). I hear you for sure about the height and width issues with a 5th wheel !! I need to rent a smaller Class C just to tryout this lifestyle. I'm getting way ahead of myself. Thank again Robert !! You should try the original Czech Budweiser. When ut comes to taste it is vastly superior over the US Budweiser. The Czech beer is sold in the US under the name Czechvar.
@@TravelingRobert My son went to Charles Univ.. in the Czech Republic . No drinking age there apparently.. so they drank 'The Good Stuff' from their dorm's "magic frig". Ahhh students.
If you are claustrophobic, don't go up in the arch. If you freak out in the tight space going up in the tiny elevator, or up at the top, they can't get you out like they can in a MRI chamber.
I was raised one block away from Budwiser. I am 68 years old . I was able to buy back our family home it set Vacent for 15 years . I bought it for 59k I am spending 200+ k to rehab it it's big ass house built in 1881 3 story . My dad owned it for 55 years I have Class A myself

+phyllis mcdade Thank you! I've always wanted to go up the Arch. Next time I'll visit the rest of the city.
You my friend are the only one who ever showed us the inside of the Arch. That was wonderful. Thank you so much. Happy Trails
Thank you Robert for this great adventure!
When me and my dad used to travel down to his summer home in Arkansas, we always passed through St. Louis. We called it, "The Halfway Point"
Thank you so much, Robert, for all the work you put into making videos of your travels to share with everyone. They are so interesting. And I love your sense of humor, and, of course, your music. I'm really looking forward to the next video because you're getting into my territory. Thanks again!!

Great video! Haven't been here since 2009 and it brings back memories when visiting. Wish you focused more on the outside of the church, it's such a beautiful building!

Besides, I'd been to the Arch twice before (many years ago my sister and I foolishly opted to climb the stairs instead). 2:44 in January 2016, all museums were free for entrance :) I had a big chance, I see.

anyways
The arch looks shiny...I always thought it was made of white concrete...
I always prefered driving myself into new cities, you can do things on your own schedule, plus public transportation always seems to confuse me..
+davidking3311 With rare exceptions like New York I agree.
mmmmm lamberts food is so good, you was close to where I live. I'm 60 miles from lamberts
Yes, loved that place... too much food though.
